I wanted to buy my boyfriend some glass for his birthday, but couldn’t find a seller in Savannah where I live. Someone recommended Blue Heron Glass to me, so I sent an email to the shop. The owner, Mike, was so helpful and kind. He arranged for me to buy a gift certificate ahead of time and greeted us at the door when we arrived. He showed us around the store, answered all of our questions, and even gave my boyfriend a demo to teach him some techniques. When we finished shopping, Mike surprised us both with birthday gifts! It was so sweet and thoughtful. We had an awesome experience. My boyfriend was so excited about his new materials that he made his first stained glass piece the second we got home from Charleston. This definitely won’t be the last time we visit Blue Heron Glass. It’s worth the 2 hour trip!

Its a cool little glass shop, a friend asked if I wanted to walk in while we were next door, the people there were nice and definitely knew about what they did. Its a cool place to check out especially if you wanna make some stained glass or something cool.

They repaired a stained glass window ornament for me, quickly and at a reasonable price. The shop is full of beautiful items for sale, and I learned there are many workshops available where they teach many types of glass working techniques. Worth checking into!

Incredibly knowledgeable and helpful staff for the stained glass hobbyist. For the buyer, its an incredible store- theres no premade Chinese stuff in this store. Painstakingly cut and assembled works of art that only an individual passionate about the craft can possibly create. Well worth the price.

From classes to shop time, Mike and Becca are always willing to help folks sharpen their skills and dive into their creative side! (Even if you dont think you have one!) If they dont have it, they will order it. If you cant figure it out, they will help you make sense of it!Glad to be a patron of a local business that takes care of their customers, and treats them like family!
