The full use of the 3-storied building is beautiful, and each section of the store is very well organized. Staff were very friendly, and quite helpful. The prices are decent for the quality of the things they sell, so I am definitely going to use them as my normal art material supplier.

Best art supplies with great service

This is a pretty decent art supply store for a city as small as Charleston. In this era of Covid, there were a few items missing, but that was a supplier problem. Staff was very helpful without being overbearing. Parking is an issue, but thats just the way it is here. I was very impressed with their outstanding Coronavirus protection, for staff and customers. I do photorealistic graphite drawings, so my supply needs are small, but I would certainly recommend this store to others.

There is so much stuff here--at first glance its smaller than their Calhoun St location, until you realize youre only looking at the first of 3 floors. The staff were knowledgable, helpful, and friendly. And they have parking!

Plenty of unique art supplies, awesome papers, wood panels, large canvas, printmaking.. its all here, and if you cant find something.. ask, they can special order!

Our family loves this place! Especially our artsy daughter. Staff is always super helpful. We drive from the creek bc it’s definitely the best art supply store around.

This is my favorite place to shop! They have everything I need, and if they do not have it they will get it. They establish personal relationships with their customers. They even deliver to your house. If you are ever stuck on a last minute project or need urgent help, call them and they will take care of you.

Personally I prefer the location on Calhoun by Marion Square, however the products they have for sale at both stores are fantastic. The quality cant be matched anywhere in town that I have found, and the prices are beyond competitive. Some of my favorite items are even priced lower than the listed price from the original seller. The selection is impressive. If you cant find something here to complete your project then you are either ridiculously picky or super niche. I have always left their store happy with my purchase and having spent far more money than I intended to when I arrived.

Not only is this store amazing. Not only did they have reasonable prices and a wide variety of products, but the staff is so friendly and helpful. This is my new go to place for art supplies.

I could live here! Three stories of art supplies! The staff is awesome--very knowledgeable & helpful. The price on watercolor paper is great! I got my Winsor & Newton Cotman set on Amazon for the same price they have it here. I would have liked to have gotten them here because I would have been able to see other options in person.

Everyone who works here is always relaxed, helpful, and knowledgeable. The amount of selection sometimes can be intimidating, as its nearly impossible to spend less than an hour looking around at everything! they carry a lot of items that no other art supply store in Charleston carries, and often at better prices. Cant really go wrong!

I came here with my brother in law, an architect, to pick up some stocking stuffers for all the kids. I ended up spending way more time browsing than I had planned because of all the cool stuff they have in this multi level store. The people working here are friendly and helpful. I definitely plan to come back here the next time Im visiting family in Charleston!

Staff are always super helpful and accommodate my most picky of requests. What they dont have in store they can often order and ship to the store for no extra cost to me. I love both locations, but the one on King Street wins out in both size and parking availability.

3 stories of pure happiness. Floor 2 is my personal favorite but the 1st floor has great options for quick gifts and novelty items. They have good quality items here and a very helpful staff if you need anything.

A nicely kept little secret treasure in Downtown Charleston, SC! An entire floor dedicated to yarn/textile arts. A treasure-trove of every art supply known to any artist. And if they dont have it? They can get it. I am in love with this store. A WONDERFUL discovery and budget friendly for an artists purse!
