Dark, comfortable bar with focused food menu on most days. Carries a reasonable selection of wines, beers, and spirits. Unlike most of the offerings on the main Chapel Hill strip in a good way - there aren’t many places to find a quiet nook to talk in a bar environment (some other joints appear to keep odd hours, and the vibe is pretty sparse as far as a “bar scene,” at least from what we witnessed). So this place is the spot for a cozy drink and a place to hear yourself in conversation. On some nights you’ll need to be patient as the friendly bartenders manage affairs.

Great atmosphere, amazing service, and the vibe is really chill. I really appreciate how relaxed the environment is. There was also a great selection of beers in addition to the excellent selection of wine.

A chill and unique atmosphere that is right off Franklin st. You can enjoy the house sangria on a comfy couch and play a board game with your family and friends. Head down stairs to the cellar for a more casual environment with pool tables and arcade games.

Nice bar. Comfortable atmosphere. They have couches and seating for individuals and groups. Music played is mostly jazz and blues. They have beers, various other drinks and food. A nice touch is they have many board games to play. Took away one star because prices are a little high and one day when stopping in about 15 minutes after 5pm we were told they are closed. They advertise open at 5pm.

If my friends want to watch the game at a bar this is hands down the place to do it! (Even though I would not call this a sports bar.) They have a great projector screen that they play it on. On other nights, they sometimes have live piano music that creates a great atmosphere! The drinks are tasty and staff is great! It can get crowded (I like the crowd it attracts) but somehow it doesnt get really loud so maintaining a conversation is easy. One of my favorite places on Franklin Street!

It was a great place to have a date and enjoy a great bottle of wine. Excellent meat and cheese plate. Bartender was very courteous and mostly gave us our space. Checking up on us just enough to be helpful but not intrusive.

Great roof top seating, a good little snack menu, and a fantastic selection of decent wine makes this one of my new favorite spots. I also liked the live music when I entered. It was tasteful and very pleasing.

Not a great wine selection but its solid enough without being expensive. Very laid back atmosphere with lots of comfortable couches. Even better, its not usually crazy busy. Check out the rooftop patio on pretty days and evenings

Fantastic place for a good bottle of wine but the hidden gems are the cocktails - Bartender Julian is clearly passionate about his cocktails and he really creates unique flavours that cant be found elsewhere. Food is also good as well, although might be on the more expensive end. Friday live music, and the patio all make this a great place to hang out with friends, or just generally chill and relax.
