Movie theater has raised prices. The screen is cut off and the top and bottom. Definitely not the best and most comfortable area, its open, the theater is small and compact, and the screen is small but its worth it for the price youre paying.

Great customer service, seats arent that great but over all nice cinema.

Perfect for watching movies for cheap. You don’t have to show up 30 minutes early to get good seats. The staff are always nice and helpful. If you’re looking for luxury go somewhere else, but if you’re looking to save a few bucks and enjoy a good movie it’s perfect.

Wow this place is definitely outdated. Was really nice when it opened way back in the day but really needs some love. The prices are pretty cheap though.

This theater cuts off the top 10 percent of the film. This has happened multiple times and when Ive asked about it Ive been told this is just how the projectors are and theres nothing they can do. After seeing the Joker here I dont think I will return due to the low quality of the projectors.

Best movie for a mighty long time. Theater was hard to find, as we came in from the north west, but nice and clean and friendly!

I love this place. Parking is never a problem, great customer service, comfortable and clean, and the popcorn is the best ever ( = real butter!).

Movie was fine, place was sticky and dirty through out. A bunch of kids just standing around, most seemed to work there. Probably wont return.

Love this theater! We saw Pets 2 there a few weeks ago when it had just came out. Popcorn tasted AMAZING. Seats were just alright; however, tickets and snacks are priced accordingly. Plan to go there again even though its a but of a drive from my house!

Great prices! Though, it does seem to be a couple decades behind in renovations and enhancements which is why Im giving a 3 star rating. I go here occasionally to catch a movie because the prices are fair and Im not super picky. There has been a few times where I could hear the theater next door on and off through out my movie. Sometimes it seems to be a little stuffy and has a slightly musty smell when you walk in.

It was a nice theater - but not updated. We came on a Tuesday evening, so it was easy to pick a seat. The snack options were very nice. The picture and sound quality was good.

What a fantastic theater.Their employees seem very confident their managers support them. I spoke to the usher. She was so kind and helped me find my seat.As a business owner myself, I am aware, when you build up your employees, you stand the best for success.

What a terrible theater. But only was it old and dirty but the emergency light was shining brightly in our face for 90% of the movie. Went out 2 times to ask for help and they said they couldnt fix it until the movie was over. They made me and my kids feel unwelcome and wouldnt even look at the issue.

This is a very very small theater. It is never busy. Good place to catch a movie but it is definitely missing the big extra added benefits of a larger theater the seating is not up-to-date with most theaters. The snacks are very expensive given the lower standards of the theaters features but it is a quick and easy way to catch a movie so Im not complaining

Small movie theater with charm. They do show the latest movies.Its not the most biggest one. The sound is good and they have all kind of snacks at the entrance.

You get for what you pay. Maintainence and ambiance is not great. Just go watch a movie for less than 10 bucks and come back.

Affordable local movie theater Ive been going to for ages. A great place to go with friends.

Went to the 7:00 pm show. When it got out around 9:30 all the other auditoriums were empty and dark. The lights in the concession area were turned out and there were no people working. I think I was the only one in the theater. Yikes!The projector in auditorium 8 was out of focus as well.

The staff is always friendly and the price is right. The tickets prices might be higher than the larger chains, but the cost of snacks here is very reasonable. The popcorn is fantastic, the seats are comfy and sound is great. This place really has the small town charm of local theaters, which why I continue to see movies here.

It was a little dirty for seats and floors but I understand that. I loved how good the audio was and I would recommend going to this place!

Rate this a 5 simply because it has the mural of Prince on the side!!! We ran out of time to catch a movie!!!

The screen was small, the seats were old and not comfortable and a curtain covered about 4 to 6in of the edge of the screen, meaning that the movie was projected on wavy fabric at the edge. I was pretty disappointed. The price was a few dollars lower than a nicer theater but I would have rather gone to a nicer theater.

This theatre is a true dump it is extremely dirty and overpriced you will be better off going to AMC theaters in eden prairie.

Reasonably priced tickets, and I dont need all the amenities other theaters offer.

I love this theater. Its a bit older, not as new. But, you get fewer ads before the movies, fewer trailers, volume isnt too loud and generally just a less crowded experience. Projectors are still high quality digital.

Smaller, typically more quite cinema. Even on the opening nights of major movies, most recently Black Panther, there are always a few seats open. Concessions are not extremely over priced for movie food options, and a decent variety in movies for the size.

Best theatre by far in the area! Always come here with my friends to see a movie. They offer unlimited free refills on popcorn and drinks (all sizes) and they use REAL BUTTER! The ticket prices are very reasonable and its almost never crowded. Ive seen a few movies with my friends in totally empty show rooms! The advertisements make the experience even better. Among my favorites are: Junk King, Sharlenes State farm agency, Vacuums, Cheers, and nobody can forget classic ClearSoft Water. If youre visiting, dont forget to snap a picture of the Prince mural on the side of the building! Its also a local company which is a nice bonus.

Nice theater. We see movies here quite frequently. Ticket prices are extremely reasonable (and the theater offers a military discount!). Concessions prices are superb -- and they use real butter on their popcorn.

Ive been going to this theater since I was a kid and it first opened. Prices are reasonable and theaters are clean. Staff was friendly too.

Excellent small-town style theatre. My fiance and I both dislike the cuddle seats that have seem to have taken over most movie theatres in our area. It is awkward sitting so close to another couple.This theatre provides exceptional ticket and concession prices, and popcorn made with real butter. Yum! The overall crowd and vibe of this theatre is very calm and welcoming. We have never had any issues at this theatre.We drive in from Eden Prairie to go to this theatre, and we will continue to do so! Its an excellent hidden gem!

Ok well start with the good....staff was friendly, there was no wait whatsoever, and thats about it. Now onto the not so good....for the love of God the smells in this place were terrible! The walk down to theater 7 seemed like an eternity because the smell it the hallway was so offensive! My daughter (7) and I came to see the goosebumps movie, between the tickets a large popcorn and large soda it was $25. Not exactly sure how much cheaper than a larger cinema that is, if it is at all. The popcorn was not fresh whatsoever, as a matter of fact it was cold by the time we got to our seats. They serve it in these bags that smell really weird, made the popcorn taste like the bag smells. My daughter and i both didnt want to eat it. The theater itself was very messy. Trash and popcorn all over the place up on the last row of seats. Im greatly disappointed. Its too bad, I like these small theaters, the waconia theater was much nicer even before they did the remodel.

Its a great hometown theater. I like that I dont have to travel very far to have a nice distraction on a gloomy day. Sure, there are bigger and better theaters, but then you pay more, too. The Chan Cinema fits nicely here.

A great place for a movie on a weekend. Prices are much better than AMC, and they offer great popcorn and snacks. Located in downtown Chanhassen across the street from Cub, its super easy to get to. Been going with friends for 6 years and plan to go for years more.

This theater has a small town feel to it. Almost a throwback feel to the days of weird, patterned carpets. Love the do it yourself ticket purchases when you walk in. Concessions are priced reasonably and offer flavored toppings for your popcorn. Theaters are mostly clean and seats are slightly older, but still comfortable.

No recliners, but seats are cushy enough. Matinee only $7.50. Place was clean and although we didnt buy anything the concessions were a good price...$4 small sodas and candy.

Prices and movies are good here. Theater is outdated and feels dirty. Sometimes it smells badly. Not a fancy theater by any means but it does the job.

Several Saturdays we have tried to attend the first showing but staff doesn’t show up until 10 minutes before the first movie showing to get things rolling so you can’t get popcorn or slushies or any treat other than candy until after your movie starts. It badly needs to be updated or cleaned - there is an awful smell in the hallway leading to theatres 3 and up. It is cheap so you get what you pay for with this theatre.

As a whole the theater is good! During busy times it is hard for the clerks to keep up with the demand, thus increasing wait time for popcorn and snacks. But all in all a solid theater.

They need to modernize operations and facilities

Ive been here a few times, lower priced, not so shiny theater. Usually just fine. But I did see guardian of the galaxy V2 in theater 2, the screen was to small and there were parts that where cut off.

We use to visit this place all the time until now. Went to see the Black Panther movie and the camera projector was unaligned. 5 minutes into the movie I talked to someone about it and went back in. Still not fixed. Went back again and they said there was nothing they could do. There are a fair amount of subtitles in this movie and nobody in the audience could read them. When I asked to speak to a manager there wasn’t one on duty. No refunds were offered and then were denied when I asked for one. They said they couldn’t do anything to compensate for a poor movie experience without manager, convenient. Their website didn’t allow for feedback (their captia was broken and wouldn’t allow for upload) so I’m choosing to leave it here to warn the public that IF something happens to ruin your movie going experience at this theatre that would considered their fault- tough luck. We will not be using this theater anymore. EP AMC from now on. Like the vacuum commercial at this theater says “We really suck”... at customer service.

Took two children to a movie. Had to pay for the tickets at a computer. There was not a staff member, at the ticket window. This happened the last two visits. I prefer talking to staff.

Ticket prices are lower. Real butter is a plus. Not very comfortable seats. Smaller screens, decent sound.

They have a nifty set of kiosks where you can buy your own tickets. The concessions stand only had one person manning it, so the wait for food was longer than it could have been.

I just watched Gringo with no subtitles because apparently no one there cares about quality control.I went up front 3x during the movie & no one was there.

This movie theater is a staple of Chanhassen. The staff are always very friendly. But it is very very dated. That is the only reason for 3 stars. It needs an update.

Went to go see a horror movie there, we were the only ones there but the theater was a huge mess. Plus the lights were broken and stuck on which they didnt tell us till we went back out to ask that they shut them off so we had to watch the movie with all the lights on and we couldnt see most of it since it was too bright. Its not super expensive but for as poor quality as it is i wouldnt ever go back. The only reason we went was because it was the only theater near us playing the movie we wanted to see but unfortunately hardly even got to watch since their lights wouldnt turn off.

Cheap tickets, moderately clean and moderately comfy. Its not a newly updated theater, but you can see new movies for a little bit cheaper.
