We have been with Gold Medal since October 2016. My daughter started baby and me at 8 months.4 years later, she is a thriving swimmer who is currently a dolphin and I can honestly say that she is a completely independent swimmer at just 4.5 years old Thanks to Gold Medal.Their unlimited swim programs is the only one in the city that allows your child to swim more than just once a week.Gold Medal has made a tremendous effort during this hard times to take all the needed measures to ensure safety for everyone. In fact this is the only place that I feel comfortable taking my kids to during this pandemic.All the instructors are extremely caring and willing to work on individual progress. And the owner if any issues arise is always willing to listen and help out anyway he can.If you are looking for a swim school that truly cares about your child and wants your child to become a great swimmer, look no further.

Weve been coming here for about a month and my six year old daughter has progressed rapidly!!! She has advanced three levels already!!! Swim teachers are amazing, front desk staff are so friendly and helpful!Also a great benefit is besides the once a week class you can sign up for additional free classes ....the night before you pick a time for the next day and if there is space you will get an early notification if you got in! We get in almost every time...love this place!!!

Jacob was an amazing instructor. The time my daughter was there, she learned so much and had a fun time while learning. He made the learning experience fun!! It was a shame to have to take her out but she wanted to do gymnastics! I would definitely recommend gold medal swim and make sure you ask for Jacob as your childs instructor. He is the best and she was sad to go. Loved gold medal swim. They were always so accommodating to our schedule. Best part is the pool is heated for year round swimming.great clean and and sanitized your kids can get.

Great place for the kids to get good swim lessons and has some of the nicest and friendliest staff. Location is very clean and professional also. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

The staffs are friendly and easy to approach. they provide unlimited sessions, in addition to your regal planned sessions. you need to book online for the unlimited sessions in the previous day. Their fee is reasonable .

Great place to learn swimming. No matter which level you are at.I went there to start swimming lesson for my elder daughter, and after sometime we land up with whole family sign-up. Their concept of unlimited swimming lesson is great. It not only give worth of money but also provide continuous guidance throughout the week. They have great instructors like Andrew, Jonathan and Molly, who have 10+ year of swimming experience. I highly recommend this place for continuous swimming learning.

If you want the price to go up without your permission. If you want to pay a yearly fee. Twice a year. If you want to get no answer about anything. Gold medal is the place for you!

My 4-year old took lessons for 8 months yet has still not been taught how to swim to the side if she were to fall in our pool. I think this place focuses more on swimming as hobby or sport rather than teaching safety skills for young kids. I ended up going to YMCA and she learned within 2 weeks and much cheaper than the monthly charge from gold medal.

We absolutely LOVE Gold Medal!! Our 4 year old son has been going there for about 2 years and when he was having a hard mastering a skill Ms. Nancy offered us a few option last to help him improve at no cost! He has been getting a private lesson before his regular lesson for the last few weeks and has improved so much!! I am so glad to see that such a large facility pays such close attention to each child progress!! We love it so much we just started Baby and Me classes with our youngest!!

Very organized and kids love the facility and the instructors. The pool is heated making it great for winter months. Also love the unlimited swim option

My daughter has attended Gold Medal Swim School for two plus years. I have always been impressed with all of the instructors, as they all seem very highly trained, and I love that they all teach in a similar style. Also, I love their program where during part of the year you are able to call and book into classes (same day) and get extra lessons for your monthly membership! The extra practice in the winter makes so much difference! Her current instructor, Andrew, really pushes her, but makes it fun for the kids. She loves it!

I tell everyone with kids to enroll them at Gold Medal! Our son has always loved the water but did not know how to swim or how to stay safe around water. Frankly he was a bit of a maniac with absolutely no fear of drowning. This was terrifying to me! I searched the valley, researching every swim school and finally chose the very best option. We enrolled him just before he turned 2 years old. By the time he turned 3 he could swim on his own and knew how to behave safely around a pool. Now at 4 years old he still takes lessons here as does his 22 month old sister. We love their teachers, past and present (Miss Becky, Miss Heather and Andrew D!

I have to give a low rating due to the obvious sand bagging of the students. They will draw out the lessons and move at a very slow pace. which is cool i guess if youre willing to wait 14 months for your kid to learn how to swim(average time as stated by a GMSS teacher) After 4 months with GMSS and seeing little progress, I allowed my neighbor who has taught kids to swim in the past, 2 hours in our backyard pool with our 25 month old. By the end of the lesson our kid could swim from one side to the other. Meanwhile at GMSS they are milking the monthly fees by dragging out the lessons. We go 3 times a week for 4 months and they are still teaching him to blow bubbles?!?!?!?! Cmon

Positives: Unlimited swim is now extended throughout the year which is great practice for kids who do not have pool at home. My kids love to swim there. Majority of coaches are good at beginner level training.Negatives: Gold medal need to develop coaches to pay focus on techniques (both stroke and breathing) for students in swim team programs. Gold medal students can do much better during swim meets where I could see and compare students from other schools and they fared much better due to better techniques. Please invest more to coach students for competitions.

Our daughter started swim school here a few years ago and theyve always been a great group of people to work with. She still does private lessons with Coach Walker and hes always been a great coach for her.The quality of swimmers coming out of Gold Medal is great and its not a huge club where your kid may get lost in the mix. They focus on technique and its a night and day difference comparing Gold Medal kids with other schools that focus on speed.Highly recommended whether you have kids that need to learn how to swim for safety or youre raising a future Olympian.

I wish we would have known about Gold Medal Swim earlier! My child loves his swim classes here! The front desk staff and swim instructors are very friendly and helpful plus the facility is very clean. Lots of class levels and tons of options for days/times classes are held. Class-sizes are kept small for more individualized instruction. Its so rewarding to see the huge smile on my sons face during swim class knowing hes having fun but also knowing hes learning how to stay safe in and around water.

Our son who is almost three LOVES Gold Medal Swim--and looks forward to his lesson each week! The instructors are amazing! Excited, knowledgeable, patient, full of encouragement and enthusiasm!Gold Medal Swim teaches useful swimming and safety skills.The open swim option (to take extra swim lessons during the week, for no extra charge) has been a real benefit...the additional practice and encouragement has really helped him grow and advance!

We love Gold Medal Swim School! Our son is almost 3 and has been a student there for almost two years. He has learned a lot and his skills and survival abilities are excellent for his age. The teachers are all great, making class fun while keeping the kids focused and on track. I also appreciate the flexible class times and many classes offered. We look forward to our four and a half month old daughter starting next week as well!

We love Gold Medal Swim School. My son is almost 2-years old and has been attending Gold Medal since March 2015. At Gold Medal he has become even more confident in his ability to jump into the pool and get out successfully. Our fabulous instructor recognized that our son was a bit more daring than some of the other kids and she has been very helpful in teaching us new techniques that we can work on with him to increase his skills. In his current class he can take additional classes during the week for no additional charge which is awesome!My son attended another swim school from 10 weeks old 14 months old. Initially we liked them because he was learning to float and seemed to be enjoying himself. Unfortunately, when he moved up to the next level (when he turned 1) the class activities did not change and we were all bored. At Gold Medal they are constantly challenging the babies to dive into the water and not be afraid. Class changes slightly from week to week so no one is bored.I am grateful we found Gold Medal because our son loves it. The older kids who swim at the same time seem to be enjoying themselves and are great swimmers.I recently learned that they have made improvements to the admin side of their business. The website was not very good and the phone system was lacking. I look forward to utilizing the website more often. They do send out great monthly newsletters which are very informative.We cant wait to move up to the next level as we think hes ready for a new challenge! We are having another baby in the Spring and we will sign her up for baby classes at Gold Medal the moment she is eligible.

The instructors have such great patience and do everything possible to make the kids comfortable during the sessions. I cant say enough about how much my daughter loves her swing class, we never go anywhere else!

Both our boys (2 & 4) attend and love it! The instructors are amazing at putting the kids at ease, building trust, and having fun. The results are impressive and come faster than youd expect. I currently have a 10 month old and she has been taking swim lessons every week since she was only 10 weeks old! One thing I was told from the start of our classes is that it is not uncommon for babies who take swim classes to develop certain skills earlier than their peers as the swimming motions in the water help to develop muscles that are used less often than others. I believe that to be true as my daughter learned to walk at 9 1/2 months old!My daughter adores her swim teacher Becky and looks forward to her classes each week. My daughter is in the baby and me class and I sing some of the songs that we sing during her class to her while she is in the bath and she recognizes what songs they are and where she knows them from because her face lights up and she starts splashing and laughing while attempting to do some of the hand motions. Its the cutest thing ever and I find pride in knowing that she is learning so much from her weekly classes. What I love most about Gold Medal Swim School is their pro-rated scheduling system that is unique from any of the other swim schools that we have tried and it gives my daughter more opportunity for success. Everyone at this school is so nice and friendly. Not only are the staff members fantastic but so are the parents. My daughter and I have both made friends while attending Gold Medal Swim School. We will keep my daughter enrolled for as long as we can!

This swim school is a great one. My son has been there almost 3 and half years and my daughter has been there almost a year. They love it. Instructors are good and they have a really good relations with the kids. Management is always helpful and when you talk to them they listen to you. In addition, they keep the school always clean which is very important for every kind of school environment.

Great swimming experience for my child. She has been going to gold medal swim school for 2.5yrs and she loves to swim and is so excited about her lessons and is focused on doing well. She really loved her swimming coach Liz. Liz enhanced my daughters confidence, learning and love of swimming.

We are fans of gold medal Swim School!! Our youngest has been doing swim lessons for 3 ½ years now and is working towards the level 1- pre-competitive team. Additionally, she and her older brothers have done the Summer Swim or level 2 swim team for the last three summers. All the instructors and coaches are extremely positive, focused on teaching technique and they know how to make the kids’ experience in the water fun!

Gold Medal Swim has been a great place for my little one to develop her swim skills. This place is absolutely amazing, the instructors are friendly, patient, and all around great to work with, the facility is always well maintained, and they have many options that will work for anyone when it comes to schedules. We looked at several different swim schools before making our selection and Gold Medal Swim was referred to us by a family friend and we were so happy that they met all of our needs with the facility, pricing, and location that we were looking for.

We love our swimming experience. All staffs at GMSS are kind and experienced. We are part of the swimming family since Oct. 2014. My kids got chances to swim with all instructors. They enjoy their time with them every time. So do the parents.

We have been going to Gold Medal for about 3 years now, and both my kids love it! The instructors are great with kids and helping them understand the rules and safety of swimming. We initially lived in the area but we continue to drive over 30 min to stay in this school because we love it so much!

My daughter and son have been here for years now and we love it. They are fish in the water now because of this swim school and my 3 year old son jumps up and down to go to the pool every week. well, worth the money!!

I have 3 daughters. All three have been in this program. They started in the baby and me program just before a year old. I loved the classes with the. We live in Queen Creek and drive 35 min to go to this school. We have tried 3 other schools that are closer but always come back to Gold Medal because they are the best for my kids. Also their unlimited swim is great and no one else has that program. I wish it would be available longer. My oldest now 6, has always swam way over her age level because of her classes. At 4 she did the summer swim team through gold medal. She has ADHD and everyone that taught her worked hard to keep her focused and on task. My 4 yr old is high functioning autistic. She has been more of a challenge to teach. She also had some skills high for her age. She can completely swim on her own for over a year now, which is a relief because autistic children have a higher rate of drowning. They taught her in the regular classes and we would work together to find different techniques to help her through the struggles she has had. My youngest is 2. She just moved into the classes on her own and is doing great. I have and will continue to recommend gold medal to anyone who asks about swim classes.

We moved the kids from private lessons to a swim school and were worried they would just become a number at a a school....I am so thrilled to tell you that this has not been the case at all. Our kids are excelling and we couldnt be happier with our decision.Gold Medal Swim School has the best staff, that are always smiling and quick to offer help. They have went above and beyond for our family and we are so thankful. It wasnt until after I joined, that I learned just HOW much training (80+ hrs) Coach Walkers staff goes through to make sure they are well trained and maintain the highest quality experience for each of their clients.If you get a chance to meet Coach Walker...bring your Dad jokes...he loves to tell them to kids, and it never seems to get old. Not only that, but that you can tell immediately that he is passionate about people, and that every child should know how to swim. Dont waste your time on signing up unlimited swimming class! The password doesnt work & it will keep saying try again cause your not human ! After many attempts, I gave up! I told the manager about this in Feb & showed her screen why its not taking the password. She assured me that they will fix it. I guess not because I still cant sign up online !

We have been going here for about 6 months now and our son loves it! The extra free classes are very helpful asl well.

Both of my children, now 8 and 10 years, have taken lessons through GMSS since they were babies. We started in the babies and me class and now they are both on swim team. The instructors are excellent and the facility very nice with free wifi for working parents. Now that they are in the swim team program, we are fortunate to work with top notch coaches and participate in fun meets that not only help them learn, but also have fun.

One of the female instructors at a high school they used for practice actually threatened to leave my child there if we were unable to pick him up on her schedule. We do not make a habit of being late, mind you. I kept in contact with her and assured her that someone would be there. She called constantly and said she needed to leave and he would be left alone and this isnt a good neighborhood. If theyre having meets or practices in a bad neighborhood after dark and threatening to leave a 9 year old out in the cold, there is a problem with their staff. Something to consider.

My 3 kids take lessons here. My oldest (8) is sharpening skills and my youngest (3) is just getting started. GMS has been great for both of them but it has been the most beneficial for my middle child (6) who has been afraid of the water for years and rebuffed all the group and private lessons I arranged for her in the past. She loves GMS, is determined to swim well and has made a lot of progress. The school is not inexpensive but in the end, very worth it.

Our kid is being going to this school for almost year, she is overcoming many of her water fears. Starfish class takes forever to graduate. Instructors are good.

The staff are so cheerful and friendly and the kids find this place fun! The timings are so flexible and the unlimited swim is awesome.

Our son is three and has to take private lessons due to developmental delays. He has difficulty comprehending instructions but his teacher is excellent and patient during every lesson.
