I discovered Chandler Center for the Arts because of the recent Bernadette Peters concert. Her show was amazing, of course, but the cozy venue enhanced the pleasure of the evening. This place has easy access, comfortable seats, easy to navigate restrooms and good acoustics. Its a smaller place that has an older charm but it sure delivers in housing a good show. The workers or volunteers were helpful and welcoming and seemed like they enjoyed their work. No one likes an usher who acts put out when you ask for a program! None of that here! Check this place out! A+
What an incredibly fun time! Went to see the nutcracker and it was a great show! The theater itself is extremely comfortable, spacious seating, excellent views, and even the temperature was perfect. Intermission meant snacks and the popcorn was delicious! Parking is mostly in back, there were only a few handicap parking places which I feel they could have used more of but it’s a minor complaint.
Great music. Great productions. Great people.
In the process of finishing up a much needed long renovation project. Place is looking up. Bathrooms are beautiful . Thats important!CCA is one of the best values around. Theyve started bringing in a great variety of shows over the past few years. Ticket prices are never too crazy. The facility is also available for rental which is wonderful. They are always looking for volunteers too. Volunteering there is a great way to get involved in the community.
Great place and very ambient. Parking is free and its easy to get in and out of area. My only suggestion is to upgrade the sound system or try surround sound system ... Otherwise great place for a show
Great seating. Adequate parking. Located next to a lot of good restaurants within walking distance.
Great venue. Unexpected gem. Chandler build it 25 years ago, it must have been for ahead of its time. The main hall can split into three separate hall without one hearing the other, so i leaned. There is a small museum as well. Saw a great concert.Good job City of Chandler.
Well kept and centered in Chandler’s down town. The parking is not great so get there early. I went to a Squeeze concert here and enjoyed it.
Amazing En Vogue concert! Seating was awesome!! Nicole Alexandra opened for them and rocked the house as well.
They had a lovely free concert for the community. I brought my family here to listen to the professional musicians play. It was absolutely outstanding. The conductor was fabulous and we all enjoyed the program.
Really nice venue! Went for a work event but imagine its a great place to see a play or other performance. Didnt seem to be a bad seat in the house. Theres a bar in the lobby but not sure if they serve alcohol during non-work events. I would recommend this venue because of location, friendly staff & its very well maintained. If you enjoyed this review or found it helpful, please give it a like!
Fabulous venue for music. Comfortable seats, parking in back, and good acoustics. Restrooms could be a bit larger. Many artists at lower prices due to local support for Chandler Arts. Something different every week.
I went for the Mayors State of the City Address. Ive been here multiple times for orchestra events and other concerts. As always, it is a great place to host a venue and attend and I have never had a problem with the staff there. Everyone is very courteous and I would highly recommend this location if you are trying to organize a venue or an event.
We had such a great time coming here for the magic show! My daughter was blown away by the performers talent, and so were the adults. I would definitely visit again!
Beautiful venue! The Chandler Symphony Orchestra is amazing! Plus the do free symphonies on the last Sunday of the month at 3pm. Their wonderful go see them
Free Symphony concerts are the best. Mama brings me every month and its always awesome. The other shows are excellent too, but they cost money.
Took our middle schoolers here for a field trip to see Romeo and Juliet, it was awesome. They even waited for our group to get started because we were running a little late. Very nice and hospitable.
Excellent concert by Black Violins. Seats were easy to find. Venue was sold out but there was plenty of parking.
If you dont get there super early you will be walking FAR.Service from staff was great. Show was amazing... Seats were good like there was no bad seat in the house.
Ok place for indian dance performances.
Very nice venue. A little warm- causing lots of people to fan themselves with their program. Staff was super nice. Was the for a screening and artist conversation, meet & greet. All moved smoothly. Live in Tucson but Hhope to attend another event at the center soon.
A great place to see any event!
Chandler Center for the Arts is a wonderful venue to see a show. The theater is wide and not too deep, so you always have a great view regardless of your seat. The staff is friendly and always pleasant. The beer and cocktails are on the high side, but for a theater about average.
Nice place place for a Graduation.. for my son-in-law..
Weve been here a few times with our most recent visit last night to see Murphys Celtic Legacy. We always enjoy the theatre and they have been gracious with the surrounding community included our daughters Junior High Band concert. On two occasions now weve got to their box office for tickets and theyve been great about helping us find the best tickets possible for a good price. Its smaller than Gammage but has the same professional theatre feel with a more intimate ambiance. Well continue to see shows here as long as they are open. Staff at the box office and in the theatre itself are all quite professional and very friendly. Keep up the good work all we do love it.
Allowed the show to start early, causing us to miss the first song. Ticketmaster wouldnt load our tickets and door people watched us struggle for fifteen minutes trying to get it to load before telling us tickets could just be printed at the door. Ushers couldnt figure out who to give our tickets to to seat us. Gave them to an usher in the wrong section apparently as we were sat on the far left of the stage instead of the center right where our tickets were for. Then the usher left with our tickets so we werent able to have them as keepsakes. Lighting and mics needed much adjusting during the performance. Venue is beautiful and intimate, however. Not a bad seat in the house. Very clean and a nice temperature. The entertainment was excellent.
Beautiful venue. Nice staff. Excellent artists & performers
Recently saw black violin. Fun, energetic, great show. Every seat in the house seemed liked a great view. Smaller venue, great seats.
Great concert venue, Blaine Long was a great opening act and Johnny Lang and his band were great. Highly suggest seeing both in concert.
This is a nicely designed theatre/auditorium seating about 1500. They have a free concert series in the summer which we usually go to. The Chandler Symphony also has a free series. We have seen dance, jazz, rock, military concerts here. And this year we saw the Zoppe Circus which is a big top circus held out back.
Excellent venue for free concert series, world class musicians and performing arts, and other events. Has an art gallery on north side.Just saw an outstanding free 2.5 hr Jacome Flamenco group: Quatro. Besides their fabulous performance, the stage lighting effects were truly amazing--on par with Mesa Center for the Arts, and Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts! This Chandler Center is the performing arts go-to for the southern metro-Phoenix area.
Well maintained Arts Center. Ushers were very helpful and attentive. Show was great! Enjoy!
Great venue. Amazing staff and volunteers. Nice selection of entertainment. Go early and get a drink or not. We have visited several times this year and have tickets for one more show. We should have bought a membership.
The Venue has excellent Acoustics. It is well maintained and the staff is friendly. Black Violin Rocks.
Our 1st visit & it was easy to find with easy parking. Very nice inside with snacks & drinks. Restrooms were nice with adequate womens stalls. We would go back again & recommend.
Great place for seeing a show. Our seats were a little higher up, but still a great view.
CCA consistently brings a variety of high quality shows to the East Valley. The facility has been kept up to date and is in great shape. We attend many school events here as the local school district has a partnership with CCA, and over the several years of attending have yet to find a bad seat. The usher staff are friendly and knowledgeable. This is truly a gem.
Its really nice! The staff members are really polite! And the restrooms are super clean and nice.! I went to watch Dynasty! Last night, and was wonderful!
The Chandler Center for the Arts is a really cool place. Yes there is art and things to do in Chandler. I have not seen this building for many many years though. With all of the new developments going on all around this center is probably very different from when I saw it last.
The seats have plenty of leg room. Its a fairly small theater, so every seat is pretty good.
Nice local performing arts center
Great place for a concert. Even a punk show. I saw X there.
The people were so kind. The place was easy to get to. The performance was amazing!
It was a nice venue parking was incredible although they really didnt have people telling you where to go to get that parking. The ones I found somebody they answered my question
They have some of the best shows. Plus downtown is great!
Its a nice little intimate venue. Great for a play or theatre type performance. However if you go to a concert dont expect to be able to dance. Saw a band from the 80s and everyone stayed in their seats after being told dancing in the aisles and in front of the stage were not allowed. Must be very disheartening for a band to look at the crowd and see them all in their seats rather than rocking out. They shouldnt book those types of shows if they dont want to let people enjoy it the way it was supposed to be enjoyed.
Comfortable seating, easy access, plenty of parking, handicapped friendly. Snacks and beverages available.
Comfortable roomy seats! Beautiful architecture! Attended talent show, the host was hilarious!
Beautiful auditorium. I have attended many Indian Classical dance performances at this location. The center is very spacious with gracious staff. Both the large auditorium and smaller auditorium are great for acoustics. The lobby is huge and hosts are given area to serve outside food.
Truly a beautiful place. Had an amazing time with black violin
Dixies Tupperware Party. Pretty good.
The seats are quite worn, but its otherwise a lovely facility.
Melissa Etheridge concert rocked!
Always good performances. Theater management has it figured out. Doors could be opened earlier. First you have to wait outside, once inside, again wait for theater doors to open. Gets quite crowded in lobby.
Awesome venue! There are no bad seats.
Saw SQUEEZE this Eve support act X - great show my only beef was the sound system could have been way more sonic, even the vocals were a bit muddy! Sound Eng. Needs to be schooled on mix or their system is too weak for the venue! Bands were still awesome! (But handicapped!)
Really great venues here, smaller more intimate experience. Loved it.
Great except they no longer are going to host Zoppe :(
Six of us attended the Storm Large concert. Great performance. Great venue - large, open, beautiful. Great staff - accommodating, friendly, courteous.
PIMA Medical Institute holds graduation here 3 times a year. Awesome venue and Awesome school!
The chandeliers in the lobby were magnificent, and the theaters have ample space for many people. On the outside, it looks huge. Definitely would visit again
This review is in regards to the building and staff only. I have not seen any entertainment there but my daughters graduation was there. The building is easy to find. There is ample parking. The staff was friendly and courteous. The interior design could use some updating but all in all its a nice venue.
Saw Black Violin! The sound and lights were phenomenal!
Beautiful Auditorium and place to visit.
Good sound quality, good views from all seats. Free parking right there and lots of good restaurants and bars within walking distance.
Great music right in my own backyard!
Good enough for local theatre.
Beautiful center. Excellent sounds acoustics. Staff very hospitable.
Great concert venue. Ive seen several shows here and always have a great time. The workers are mostly, if not all, volunteers. Wonderful people.
Chandler Center of the Arts hose has first class entertainment I love going there not to mention its on the campus of my old alma mater
Love Melissa Etheridge. Concert was great. Needed more than 2 beverage stands. Lines 20 minutes wait.
Spacious comfortable seats. Good acoustics. Very clean, welcoming surroundings. Friendly and professional staff. Good parking too.
They just installed a state of the art sound system which is so clear and amazing. Professional and top notch!
Loved the Samantha Fish concert!
We went to zoppé family circus and it is amazing, funny and adorable
I attended a Dance Recital for Tempe Dance. Outstanding facility inside and out. The kids put on an excellent dance performance.
Quaint and convient location for attending the performace arts events. Excellecent restaurant selections within walking distance.
Have lived here in Chandler over 20years! Great place and great staff and minds! The Chandler Center for the Arts is Superb!
Love the place
Very nice! Have our annual bible conference here every August.
Great concert hall and still intimate. Huge refreshment area and well staffed during concerts. In line and out quickly. Able to drink in hall. Comfortable seating.
Love this venue. Not a bad seat anywhere in the house. Really enjoyed the Strangelove concert.
The facility is fantastic. Very dissatisfied with the music performance. Hardly no country, all loud rock with too many annoying guitar riffs. Was not as advertised as a country music show. The band should stick to playing in bars for drunk people.
Sound was perfect and so was seating. I had an end seat!!! No intermission which I missed because I like it
Ive been to 3 of my daughters recitals here, and the place is a bit outdated, however, patrons will be pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness of the lobby area and bathrooms which look to be remodeled. Also, the snack bar serves beer...soooo...consider me sold!
Very nice facility, great for performances. Acoustics is also good. Plenty of parking spaces
Best field trip ever hands down
A lovely venue. Fine acoustics. Easy to get in and out. Pleasant staff.
Every seat gives a good view to the stage.
Nice venue for concerts with a few nearby restaurants and bars.
It was a great performance to see around this time of the year
Very nice. All good seats. Beautiful restrooms. Good parking nearby.
Such a beautiful theatre! I would 100% recommend hosting an event here. The staff is wonderful to work with and will do anything for you!
This is a beautiful new state-of-the-art facility. (Something about it was a little bit uncomfortable to me. I cant quite put my finger on it.)
Great venue to see concerts, great acoustics!
The event was amazing! Handicap parking accommodations with access to the building sucks. Construction debris was everywhere! I attend a few events at the CCOA annually, this is oftentimes not the case. I usually give a thumbs up for them. They may want to consider set up with more that 1 wet bar, maybe 1 additional at each side entrance.
Great performances! Great venue.
2nd time here and it is great.. not 2csmall and not 2 big of a venue. Very nice 2 have a place like this close 2 home.
