Wow was my first impression of this park! It is absolutely beautiful! Not only that there is so much to do! Its a great place to take your kids or go on a date or even to go out with the family! You can even fish ride the train ride on a carousel and they even do weddings! I enjoy coming here to do some photography but the family recently stumbled across the place before and we had a blast! Now I just enjoy coming to relax and capture the beauty with my camera until they open everything back up again once covid is over the family will be back and we cant wait!
Been coming here forever, been taking our twins here now. They love it! Great park!
I have 3 toddlers and they love this park. Theres so much to do and see: train ride, carousel ride, lake, ducks, fishing, large playground, separate swing set, splash pad, tons of open space and grass, affordable drinks and snacks, bathroom right by the park, sandbox play area, lots of covered seating. Train is $5 per person. Carousel is $3 per kid. Adults free
Whats not to love about your local mini train station! They have the mini railway, carousel and concession stand and they are a perfect complement to the desert breeze park. Our little one is in heaven every time we go!
My son loves this park. Especially the train!
The train is in good working condition. Real old school internal combustion engine (diesel I think?) train. There was enough room for two people per row, so I could sit next to my kid to keep an eye on them. They loved it and so did I. It was relatively short, 2 loops, the train runs through the back side of the station through a tunnel that drove the kids wild. Even though its a short ride the tickets are only $4.50 a piece so it was worth price for us. It also runs pretty frequently, it ran 3 or 4 times while we were there for 1.5-2 hours. The playground and lake and pretty fun too and theres a hummingbird garden just to the west of the tennis courts.
This is a very well maintained park. The train and the station are clean and the train is a very smooth ride. The conductor was an entertaining conductor that made the visit a memorable one. There were several large birthday parties there and there were plenty of room for more. Please visit the park if your ever in the area on a nice day to be outside.
Nice park with nice rail to hop on. A great place for family picnic. Bring you food, do fishing or feed the ducks. Great walking path plus a great selection of kids slides.
The train is great, the park is nice however having children its very hard to take them to the bathroom when it looks disgusting. Last 2 times I went it looked like nobody had cleaned the bathroom in months. Ive seen bar bathrooms cleaner. That alone makes it hard to want to come back.
One of the best train parks around!
Nice and big park, with two good playgrounds and a big clean lake. A lot of fun for a whole family.
Fun to let the kids ride the merry go round and the train ride but at $3 a ride per person we only did it once. You need to buy tickets to ride them. They have a discount option, $25 for 20 tickets) or yearly pass ($70 for one adult and one child).Probably the fastest merry go round Ive ever seen, kids loved it.They also have a stand for food, drinks and snacks. Nice to have that option at the park
Some of my earliest childhood memories are from this park. Coming back after 20 years was a true joy.
The children enjoyed the train ride more than I can explain. Very reasonable tickets. Clean, family park.
This is so cute. The kids have so much fun.
One of the better parks around. Always clean and taken care of. Big playground for the kids and splash pad during the summer
A great place to fish, to jog around the lake and bringing kids around.
I was visiting friends in Chandler and they took us to this park. Wow! One thing I really like about the area is that there are kid-friendly parks practically on every block. But Desert Breeze park and the railroad are definitely well above average. The railroad is such a fun addition for kids to enjoy, and not to mention there is also a carousel they can ride too. And there are so many other great features about this park. A large, covered play structure for kids, a splash pad (opens in April), many swings for both kids and babies/toddlers, and a large pond great for fishing or feeding ducks. Also seems there are plenty of covered, first-come-first-serve picnic areas with tables where you can have parties or barbeques.
Take your little one on this ride....they will totally love it. Mine did!
Perfect for our toddler and family. Annual passes for train is the way to go.
This is the CLEANEST Park I have seen in Arizona!!! Trust me I have seen a lot of parks having 9 children plus the many years I did child care. A little on the costly side but think its definitely worth it. Employees very friendly and courtious lots of things for kids to do
This is a cool park. A big lake with big family gazebos that extend out into the lake with others throughout the park with barbeques spaced out so your not on top if other families. It has a scaled down railroad that takes those who wish to ride around the park. If your hungover beware the locomotive has an authentic train horn . its loud and the engineer loves to blow it. There is also a big carousel located by train depot . They both cost money to ride. There is also a huge play jungle gym, covered to by the way, fall safe ground protection for the kids. Plenty of bathroom facilities that are very clean and well maintained . There are also ducks and some geese as well. Overall youre sure to have a good time with your family . 5 Stars all the way.
Great park for familys & friends. Very well maintained. Great atmosphere.
Great play structures and swing sets with lots of room to run and play.
Train broke down and we never got to ride, previous time the carousel was broken down. Restrooms were out of toilet paper.
This is a nice park. Plenty of rides and monkey bars and such to wear out the little ones. There is also a carousel and a train ride. The only down was the water slide wasnt open when we came on March 24th when it was 80 degrees. I found out too late it wouldnt be open until April 1. Thats really the only reason we came here. Bummer. Still a nice place to visit.
This is the park where I would take my son when he was little. He loved riding the train, waterpark, Plat ground area. Freakin Awesome! Great Memories!
Good play area for 5 n under kids. Nice walking area.
The cutest park ever. Adorable little water splash pad area.. lake.. the train.. playground.. what more could you ask for?!
The Desert Breeze Express is pulling into the station for a full day of family fun and adventure in the heart of Chandler, Arizonas most popular park!Take in all the scenery from your open-top train coach. Play with the ponies on our charming antique carousel. Then cool off and fill up at our snack bar, where we serve family favorites at friendly prices.A trip to Desert Breeze Railroad makes a great outing or birthday party for kids ages 2-10. Join us weekends in Chandlers famous Desert Breeze Park!
Gorgeous park, lake, large playground, carousel and train. What else can you ask for when you have toddlers. It’s very refreshing in a desert town. Has plenty of walking areas as well.

We had our daughters birthday party here. I cant say enough good things about our experience. In pricing birthday packages, I felt like Desert Breeze was very reasonable. For $11 kids get an all day wristband for the carousel and train (theres an 8 child minimum). Ice cream and balloons were also included. Our party host Katie met us and made sure we had everything we needed. She helped us set up, got the kids wristbands, made sure we had ice cream and a birthday train ride, and then helped us clean up. Unfortunately the train broke during the last 15 minutes of our party, but it really wasnt a big deal. The kids had plenty to do and everyone had a great time!
Fun local park ride fun treat for kids, fairly long run, shows all the park. Great place to fish, eat, play, picnic, playground equipment is superb. Water spouts in summer a hot item for kids. Lots of walking paths and fun for all.
This is a great park! If you live in the east valley and need to host a kids BDAy party, this is the spot.
It was pretty fun and my nieces enjoyed it.
Love going here and sitting and watch the fish & birds nice family place.
Fun place for children with lots of activities.
Relatively clean. Train is fun for kids
Desert Breeze is a Great Oasis mostly If people Respect the other people and Rules, when were Drones permitted anywhere in Desert Breeze? When are unruly kids unattended and ruin adults with sitting Tranquility?
Great place to bring family.
Obviously your kid will love it.
Real nice park for families to come and have fun for any occasion.
Super friendly staff. Train ride is fun for kids and adults. Will visit again for sure next time we visit family.
Loads of different age appropriate playgrounds
Very good place for kids.
Very nice park, lots of different things to do. $5 for a mini train ride is a bit much; $3 for the carousel also. Too bad the splash pad was out of service being 90 degrees today.
If youre interested in gassing everyone at the park then ride this. When the train is going is smells awful, you shouldnt let your kids breath around it...super toxic!! Dont be around it either, its falls off the tracks a lot. I cant understand how this train still runs. It needs to be electric.
Train and carousel seem to be shut down. Plus the rubber on the playground is very beat up. The splash pad is nice for kids, though!
It is a great park to share with family, especially with small kids. The railroad is fun.
Id give it five stars if the workers didnt switch around the take off times all randomly. Other than that my kids enjoyed it and the price isnt too bad. Especially if you get the coupons online
Great place to take your kids and nephews so they can get out the house or even to have picnics
Great place to take your toddler.
Great place for all ages!
Fun for the Lil ones.
Great place for quick fun!
Been around forever great place to bring your kids and have a great time
Lots of good memories here from when I was a kid always a cool place to hang out
Nice old school train ride. It goes around the park and is roughly 10 minutes long. It doesnt go too fast so kids of all ages can ride. The price is 3 tickets which comes out to $3 if you buy the ticket pack or $4.50 individually.
Fun place, great for the family
Thought the prices were kind of high for the two rides they offer.
The kids have always enjoyed this park and riding the train. The cost per ticket continues to increase making it more difficult for a big family to enjoy. The kids always ask to ride the train when we visit.
Good park for little kids, lots of swings and a train and carousel for them to ride for a couple of bucks.
Well maintained train tour for all & safe one
Its fun riding train
Really Nice park -- Had fun with kids and family on a sunny afternoon in December
Very serene park with a sizable sane splash pad. Great place for kids of all ages to burn some energy
Best park for kids in AZ.
Beautiful place with tons of nice views of the park and water
We love this park! It has a big playground, a splash pad, a Carousel and a train. You cant go wrong!
Great place for kids. Small but interesting and worthwhile. Small railroad ride that kids will really enjoy.
Its good to get some good catfish to catch I caught my wife caught one
Great food and good service.
Great park! Lots of picnic tables and places for kids to play
Fun for all ages
It was okay. A bit pricey and not really much to see and do.
I hadnt been on that train in more than 10 years...it was great
Park was clean and lots to do. Splash pad very disappointing
Great playground and train, however the train and carousel do cost money so bring some cash.
Amazing for the kids ... I suggest the day pass or annual pass if you stay near by. My one year old loves to ride the train and carousel
Awesome place to play Pokemon Go
This particular park has everything, splash pad, pond, train station! There is so much to do with your family.
Awesome, HUGE park. They have just about everything you could want to do. Splash pad and large, clean playground for the kids, lake for fishing (never fished before though), softball field, grills and canopies of course and big open areas to just set up a blanket and enjoy the Arizona sun! Theres even a carousel and train ride that takes you around the park. They also host birthday parties. Buyer beware--theyve got (awful) food at the concession stand. Pizza, cheeseburgers and hot dogs are terribly low quality. If you must snack there, stick to the stuff thats hard to mess up--popcorn, prepackaged ice cream, candy, etc. Or just pack your own food altogether. Thats what we do.
Very kid friendly. Lots is birds and ducks and play areas
Nice clean things for kids and parents to do
My son is 2 and LOVES trains so weve been here many times and it keeps getting worse. The train & carousel are poorly run and in very bad need of repair. Ive only ever seen teenagers working there. They seem like nice enough kids but I worry about safety. The carousel is falling apart, the train breaks down (try making a toddler wait 20 minutes to get on a train only to have to get off because it wont start! So dissapointing). Everything is way overpriced ($4.50 per train ride and no kids are free) and clearly the profit does not go towards maintenance or improvements. Even the coin operated rides are crumbling.Desert Breeze park itself (presumably run by the city) is lovely! The playground and splash pad are great. But if your looking for a train ride, save yourself some money and aggrevation and go to McCormick Stillman or Arizona Mills instead.
Fun had my daughters bday here she loved it. Just wish you had more time in the party area we were very rushed.
Kid had a great time
Train ride, carousel, jungle gym
