I absolutely love this park. Amazing views, clean and well kept. The trees are huge and gorgeous in the picnic area, so I hope the redevelopment plan will keep them around! It is very peaceful, despite being so close to Hwy 169. It’s amazing to have direct access to the river like this, where kids can scamper around on the rocks and people can fish.

Stopped by Q Fanatic down the road and brought here for a lovely meal by the river. I absolutely loved this park. It was quaint, quiet and very scenic.

Currently a relaxing, quiet space to enjoy a break for lunch at the picnic tables, enjoying the Autumn breezes and watching the trees change colors with the seasons!

Ive been coming to the Mississippi Point Park for years and most recently on 3/8/2020 and thoroughly enjoy the tall old trees and river view.The reason for four stars instead of five is because another bench or two along the riverbank wouldnt hurt and because in my honest opinion unless there was some kind of tree disease a lot of trees are no longer standing from what I remember that in the Fall with the leaves changing was golden and in summer was verdant green that now looks barren. I believe that removing the undergrowth and some of the smaller, dead trees wouldve sufficed just fine to keep the area relatively fire safe.However; having said all that I look forward to coming back because watching the sunrise here is a sight to behold especially in the Summer.

Needs a boat dock! And people need lto be more considerate of truck/trailer parking! Otherwise nice space/access to a beautiful waterway

Best variety of fish for fishing!! Tons of places.. We got bluegill. Sunfish. Bullheads. Smallmouth bass. And pike!!

What a great park this time of the year. They were setting up for a carnival of sorts, so I didnt tool around much. I did happen to see some fisherman & women casting away, outdoor portapotties & a decent sized parking lot. Everything was very well kept & clean.Go check it out!
