This was a great pit stop while driving on I-57. It is just a few minutes off the interstate, and it has a walking path, a great playground, and a creek runs through it. Our kids loved walking on the low bridge over the creek and sticking their feet in the water.
A very nice park with a nice walking trail.
Great park for a stroll, play sports, enjoy the playground, to bicycle ride.
Quiet, out of the way, and relaxing. Take a nice stroll, watch some baseball or take the kids to the playground! Beautiful park
This is a great city park! We actually had difficulty deciding which playground to go play on. The walking pathways are very nice and well maintained. There is plenty of room if you wanted to run around with your dog, family pictures, a picnic or even a game of frisbee. The lawn is well looked after and we have never had any issues.Parking is a little sparse but its a lovely place to bring the family.
Great isolated park. Perfect for kids 8 and under. No bathrooms
I come here a lot with my friends, and its always a very fun time, but its nothing amazing. Its a kind of last resort when we have nothing else to do. For us, four stars, but definitely for a kid 6 and under, five stars.
Large park with a lot of green space. There is a creek with a walk bridge, some picnic tables, and also playground equipment. Well maintained park named after a famous merchant.
Good size park. Has 1 area of playground equipment where the mulch/sand is not well maintained. There are a couple of baseball fields and a soccer field. There is a walk path to go east/west and north/south but no circular path like Hessel and Meadowbrook. No pavilions or picnic areas like Hessel either. No parking lot, just street parking which can be a hassle if youre going to watch a sporting event. Good place to walk your dog.
Big open field! Great for soccer and other things... But crime can get a little high sometimes!
I have been enjoying this park since I was a kid. I love it.
Robeson Park is a large grassy expanse owned by the city park district surrounded by a neighborhood. It looks ideal for walking, running and picnics.
The trail bridges over the Phinney Branch are too low, so any time it has rained recently you have to wade through the water and mud, or go around. It has been this way for many years. If they dont want to fix the bridges, itd be nice if theyd just put a few stepping stones on them.
Grew up playing here. Fun park for baseball soccer or ultimate frisbee.
