I went to opening night of the play Memphis. It was awesome. The cast was great.

I basically live here, everyone is fun and easy going. The miner just got some revamps finished. Black box is black and performances are good. 10/10 would recommend

The best shows are put on here by students and local people. Not a bad seat in the house.

Attended a concert of the Chamber Singers and Wind Ensemble. The choir was remarkably good, and I will try to attend their concerts whenever I can. On the other hand, I had never been to Parkland College before, and I had a hard time finding the right building,as there was no particular main door, and once inside, I had to wander around before I found the concert hall.

Parkland puts on several plays and musicals each year, and tickets are very reasonably priced. In addition, the fine arts department puts on a number of free concerts as well. Every seat has a clear view of the stage.

Great acoustics - weird location

There are 2 stages here, a black box for smaller shows (audience on 3 sides) and a full stage (with only the one wall to break) these were great facilities and I had a pretty good time watching a show in each. The play i saw in the larger theatre was better (probably because it was fiddler) but overall the both plays Ive seen at Parkland displayed a good range of emotional expression and were satisfying viewing experiences

We attended a Vet Tech graduation and was impressed with the grounds of the college. Didnt see much more than the inside of the theater where the pinning took place.

Young Frankenstein was wonderful great cast including Brady Wambach as young Frankenstein.

If you want to see a great show at a great price where there are no bad seats, then this is the place!! Love Parkland Theater!

The black - box theatre (Second Stage) is always fun, but sometimes the sound problems in the bigger theatre can really make a show unenjoyable.
