I walked by there but I didnt enter. But I know from before this covid 19 started its clean and family friendly . everyone who works there is friendly and helpful.

This theatre is a little old but it contains a LOT of history. Its a nice place to enjoy a local play. There is a concession stand there that serves light refreshments. The service is very friendly. If youre in town, check out a play from our community theatre! Or... If youve never been, check it out!

They have great shows and they offer an overnight paranormal investigation if you want to check that out

Nice and clean. They put on several good shows. I was down town for the annual Ice Fest. Lots of good ice sculptures.

Great time. You need to do more bluegrass. I paid nearly forty dollars a ticket last time I saw Rhonda Vincent in Hanover. Would pay that for any top name bands

Attended a David King concert. The concert was wonderful. It was Elvis Las Vegas style. The theater is great. They have a lot of different shows that you can go to. It is a very old theater that has been renovated and is very nice

Very beautiful building. I wish parking was better. I enjoy this place most during Christmas and summer with my family. Great cast for all plays.

I had a very enjoyable time the seating is comfortable the visibility of the stage was awesome. Had no problems seeing the actors as they performed. The play that we got to see was Little Women and it was excellent. I will definitely pass the word two friends and family that they need to visit the Capitol theatre for show.

Perfect Theatre and Production of Madagascar Jr. for my Granddaughters first Theatre Visit and 4th Birthday Celebration.

This is not a movie theater. You will find live performances of all kinds here. Our most recent visit was a local community group, Cumberland Valley Sampler, with a show Tribute to Movies. It ranges in ages from 2 year olds to senior adults. Directed by Woody Payne. Be prepared to laugh and win prizes.

Great local theater. Decent productions. Reasonable prices. Not a top of the line theater like you would find in NYC but very nice. Great to have it in our local area.

Rented the Wood Center for my daughters birthday party. It was a convenient location and there was plenty of room for her and her friends to dance and enjoy their time together

I love everything about this old theatre. Beautiful. And entering the circle in Chambersburg at Christmas takes your breath away!!!

Great space, lovely old theatre, they schedule a lot of different things - movies, music, etc. I was there for a Hank Williams Tribute show, lots of fun.

More than just great shows, the Capital hosts many fantastic events that support the area. The Capital is an asset to Chambersburg and the surrounding areas. It also has a lot of history which is always fun too!

My First Visit, and I was Amazed at the Wonderful Staff at the Theatre who go Above and Beyond to Make sure that HDCP Patrons have Easy Access to the Theatre.The Capitol Theatre is a Wonderful Traditional Quaint Place with Amazing Architecture and a Wonderful Schedule of Entertainment!

Wonderful theater all seats for great for the stage not real keen on when I went therefore however the theater itself was a moment in time period

Need better staffing. Not as professional as the Majestic in Gettysburg. Their staff made us leave our seats saying we were in the wrong seats. Moments later when they realized we had been in the correct seats, they told us we would have to wait for intermission to return to our original seats. At intermission no one could be found to help us return to our original seats. After the show when I asked to speak to the manager her staff said, Dont expect to get a refund I did get a partial refund and the managers excuse? The heavy rainstorm caused her staff to be confused Huh?Youll have a much better experience at the Majestic!
