The Turn has a very good menu and have something to please everyone. Daily specials and themes to keep it interesting. Taco Tuesday, and Thursday wings are 50 cents each with a variety of sauces! All you can eat chicken every Sunday with sides and a roll. Very casual atmosphere with wonderful views of the greens. Outdoor seating is available to make it even more enjoyable on nice days. They have rich and delicious desserts and have a separate building available for groups parties and special occasions that can be reserved. One of Centralia areas best kept secrets. Check them out. Serving lunch and dinner. Open until 10 on Weekends.

OK...first let me say that I give 4 and 5 stars to the upper end of golf courses, for example, Whistling Straights or The Ocean Course. This is not in that category. However, so far it is most definitely the best-conditioned course I have played in Southern Illinois. I really enjoyed the zoysia fairways.EDIT: Thanks to the course owner for replying. As a golfer, I understand the challenges the owners face. That is why I characterized my rating as being the best-conditioned course Ive played in the Southern Illinois area. No one will mistake Greenview for Bethpage Black, so it shouldnt be rated that way. However, it is an upper quality course for this portion of Illinois. So, to the owner....well done.

Havent been in probably a year, but used to be one of my favorite restaurants. The menu has changed drastically in a year. Went out for a nice steak, but wasnt an option anymore on the new menu. Ordered brisket sandwiches that were rubbery and salty - wish Id gone with something reliable like a burger. The fried mushrooms were as good as I remember, and a good price for a ton of mushrooms. But the kids meal we bought was $6 and only came with fries and two chicken strips that were pretty dry. The service was ok, no complaints there. Overall was a disappoinment on what was suppose to be a special occasion with family. Will not be back with the current menu.

I hadnt been here for a while and told my daughter how yummy the fried pickles were. We ordered the pickles, Reuben and wings. The pickles were so salty I couldnt eat them. The wings and sandwich were good. Service was good as they took the pickles off the check. Nice atmosphere, but no longer recommend the fried pickles.

We played here friday on a golf trip, this was the nicest course we played all weekend by far for 20$, we will be back every year, the food was good too and everyone was super nice

We were there for a golf scramble. Included in the price was lunch and dinner. The lunch was burgers and brats and let me tell you it was delicious. The dinner was not something to write home about. We had pulled pork, potato salad, baked beans and coleslaw. The pulled pork was way to greasy and potato salad was kind of bland. We will be back to try the restaurant and give a review.

Good Bloody Marys and more lasagna than l could eat and it was great !!

Great course but man does it for some right angled holes and its fairly tight as well so keep an eye out for others in the line of fire

We had an excellent experience here at the Fairways Restaurant. I reserved their banquet room for a family luncheon and the wait staff was very accomadating especially considering we had a few more people show up than we expected. The food was good and reasonably priced.

Only ate here. Great food and great service. The side salad was huge - big enough to be an entree. Big bonus points for our server, who followed me out to the car because I left my credit card with the bill. Will return if I visit Centralia again.

Fairways Restaurant has very good food. I played 9 holes. It was very challenging and enjoyable.

The food was excellent along with the service. Only ate here once passing through, at the recommendation of a local gas station. They were very friendly and the food was great. Kind of the usual pub food, but lots of options and rotating specials.

Probably one of the worst meals I have ever had to pay for, ordered the Shank which is a grilled pork chop, comes a salad, which I never received and one side, the pork chop was so dry and tough that after two bites I had enough. And for all the trouble they knocked of $1.60! SO I THINK I WAS THE ONE THAT GOT SHANKED

Stick with the lunch menu. Its what they do best. Party of 5. 4 of us served at once and the 5th, a pizza, 6 minutes later.

New owners Steve and Mel Whritenhour have done an amazing job with this place. I have always liked the golf course. The zoysia grass fairways are the best in S. Illinois.The clubhouse has been completely renovated and expanded. There is an indoor top of the line golf simulator, the restaurant & bar were completely renovated and changed with the entire back side with windows and a view of the course. Fairways Restaurant has great food. I had the birdie and fries. The bun was incredibly fresh and possibly homemade, the fries hand cut and perfectly cooked. There is an expanded menu and beautiful bar. There is still much landscaping and work being done outside the course. It is a first class facility and one that Centralia is lucky to have.
