Super happy and impressed with my experience here! My wife and I are just looking to get into archery and after stopping at a couple places without even being asked if we had any questions we decided to drive from plain city down to this shop and within 30 seconds someone was helping us and were more than happy to set up multiple bows for us to shoot and get a feel for what we liked. They answered all of our questions and were not pushy at all! Super relaxed and friendly environment! Highly recommend this place especially if you are just getting into it they will give you the knowledge you need and are more than happy to help even if you don’t know anything!

First time ever getting into archery and the staff was more than helpful. I spent and hour and a half just testing what I liked and I was not rushed as the staff truly wanted me to be satisfied with my purchase. With no idea about archery they walked me through every step of the process and the best this is they dont push for the most expensive products the push for user preference and performance. The staff doesnt know if its a coustomers first time. If you are new to the shop be open to the staff, because they are extremely open, honest, and helpful. Being a first time buyer I didnt feel pressure, belittled, or intimidated. If your advanced or new this is the place to go. I would highly recommend Wilde Arrow for any archery needs and question you may have.

So after seeing how these guys work on YouTube, I decided to do a whole new bow build (Mathews VXR 31.5) with them. I’m a truck driver so I did my order over the phone (totally awesome experience) and literally drove across the country to pick up my bow and get fitted in. I can not express enough how awesome Jeremiah and the rest of the crew are. Besides being an amazing, down to earth, fun group of guys. Jeremiah had me more comfortable in my bow then I had ever been and was shooting X’s faster then you can say something that doesn’t take a long time to say... I am extremely grateful for all they have done and all they continue to do, I pray for and wish them the most success because they truly deserve it. I will make sure to stop in every time I deliver a load to Utah.God Bless you guys and thank you for the best bow buying/building experience I could have asked for.Justin Z.

I had high expectations for this place. I took my brother to Wilde Arrow to buy his bow, and the customer service was not good, and there wasn’t anybody in the shop. My brother ended up getting a new Hoyt, and it was a week turn around to get his bow setup. Long story short It was near impossible to get this thing to shoot groups. It was frustrating to say the least. Took the bow to Als in Logan and they had to re-tune everything. It was all out of whack. It’s sad because you would think after spending $1500 that they would of taken the necessary steps to make sure that everything was lined up correctly. So, real talk, unless you are with hush don’t expect to have the time taken to go through your bow and get it all tuned up the way that they should!

UPDATE 2/22 : Jeremiah went above and beyond to make things right and I can’t thank him enough for helping create a wonderful experience for my wife and I. Updated to 4 stars. We will certainly be back.Original Review——————————————————————————I tried so hard to like this place. A very close friend referred them to me but unfortunately he either got very lucky in his experience or I got very unlucky. If I’m spending big money at your store, I expect the bare minimum of attention. Every 5 minutes when someone walked in, instead of greeting them and letting them know it would be a min...they would literally leave me and my wife and start helping them. We’re sitting there with 2 bows in our hands and all we need is the peep setup to be finished with a few tips and tricks and it took 3 different sales reps and 2 and a half hours to swipe my card for almost $2,000. Will was the only saving grace to our experience. He was at least with us and cared in the moment. Instead of getting people rung out and done 1 at a time in 20 minutes, they spread theIr attention to 10 people at a time and it resulted in every transaction taking 4X longer. I managed a retail store for years and I know the struggle...but they should have some kind of prioritization system in place for when it gets busy or they are understaffed. Like I said, I really wanted to like this place....but unfortunately I struck out. Maybe you will have better luck than I did.

If you are new to the world of archery, forget this place! To the workers there, you will be invisible. My 9 year old boy is new to the sport, and was excited to buy better arrows than the starter ones we bought him for Christmas. We wandered the store for an hour, with worker after worker walking past us as if we werent even there. We left without buying anything, my boy upset and in tears. Im guessing this shop is good. They had a wide selection, and there were people in the store and at the archery range, which seemed decent, but it was more like a club, with the workers hanging out, shooting the breeze with regular customers and ignoring everyone else. If you arent a member of their clique, then you are clearly not welcome there.

Feel like I dont have the right way with words to describe my experience with Wilde Arrow. Just getting into archery for the first time I went to a local shop here in Canada and became so frustrated with the service, they had a great blurb on their website on how they were a pro shop and were there to help teach you and build confidence... But that ended up being far from the case. Shop wouldnt let me be around for the setup to learn anything, didnt properly measure me, took the bow home and noticed the arrow wasnt sitting level on the bow, brought back all these concerns like I felt restricted at the backwall, peep ended up being way too big (not knowing any better) told me Id need a chronograph to sight in my spot hogg and just left it at that... learning later spot hogs dont use that method after I bought one... that paper tuning was a waste of time. Trying to sight in I couldnt get it to work, adjust windage all the way and still couldnt bring my groups over, finally decided I didnt want to learn how to compensate shooting the wrong way and do it right so I called Jeremiah at Wilde Arrow and asked if I could fly out and do a set up from seeing his work on YouTube, he worked with my schedule to find a time that would work best. The service was beyond anything I imagined, helped fix my draw length, right sized peep, explained arrow set ups and that the 500 spines the local shop told me to get wasnt the best for my set up but worked with me on them as I had already put the money into them, but explained where they will probably start to drop in performance and as i get there with practice what to look for and how I can start to get the right ones as I get better and start looking at new gear. Worked on my form and things I was doing wrong and once my form came together some tweaks and adjustments to my bow and had me shooting bullet holes in no time! All while letting me be there and see what was going on, explaining why hes making what adjustments and answering all my questions. The guys at the shop were all extremely nice, and just spend the day around the shop and talking to customers and soaking up all the information I could! The guys recommended places to go see, and eat, and invited me out to watch a shooting competition to see that side of things. The next bow I buy will include the trip back out here, all my friends and family thought I wad nuts to fly out on a weekend just for a bow but it was more than worth it!! And is one of the best trips Ive been on to date =] I would recommend if you have a lot of work to do maybe calling in to book time as from what I seen they get extremely busy! Highly recommended especially if you have a disappointing experience with another shop like myself, and Utah is also gorgeous making the trip even more worth it!! =]

Just wasted 15 minutes in this store looking for arrows... sadly, I was not even acknowledged by anyone being in the store from the time I walked in to the time I walked out, like I was a ghost or something. While I was there, I looked at all the racks of accessories, arrows and other stuff (nothing is priced in this store, I guess you have to ask for prices) and finally decided to leave. When I was walking out the door, someone called to me asking if I had a question. When I answered not anymore! this person called back, Were a little busy! which was funny because there were only 2 customers in the store besides me. I definitely wont be coming back. The staff at Wilde Arrow is awesome!!! I would consider myself new to archery. In the last 6 years I have purchased bows from 3 bows from 3 other shops and recently purchased my 4th from Wilde Arrow. This is the first of all my purchases that I felt like time was taken to ask about what my needs are, what my goals and have the bow setup for me properly and made sure I was comfortable and understood what they were doing and why, rather than handing me the bow and “asking how’s that?”. New archers don’t necessarily know what is right and wrong. Jerimiah and his staff educate and to me that is the most important thing a shop can do!! After my 3 previous experiences from other shops along the Wasatch front they are the only shop I will shop at!! They are busy because they are great at what they do and we’ll worth any waiting I’ve ever had to do. I have a set up that fits me, shoots great and most importantly I’m confident in. Keep up the great work guys, and thanks for all you do!!!

Wow probably the worst experience I have ever had in a bow shop. I have been going here for a few months now. Every time its the same thing, wait sometime a half hour for someone to even ask if u have been helped, there are usually a few palls standing around talking about wbsolutely nothing and they are not even customers, i have been trying to get help on finding a bow that fits my needs for a while and everytime i go in i am ignored and tosses to the aide because i am not as important as somone. Plus there are only 3 people that will actually help you for what you need, when u can finally lock one of them down, it is the most helpful archery experience in the western united states, but thats the problem, when you arent one of the guys, its rare you will get someone who even knows what the bows on the rack are like. Super sad when this is the only bow shop close to me. And i get it they are insanely busy, but for what im seeing out of the employees its actually just lack of effort and helpfulness, if you can, try to get Jeremiah to help you, that guy knows more about archery than anyone I have ever met. Its just that hes hard to lock down sometimes, only person besides 2 other people who i dont know their names are actually helpful.

Heres the short of it: These guys are great; you wont find a better, more competent shop around. No pressure or pitches to force a sale, just good, honest people and good prices. I would recommend them to anyone. If you want to know more about my experience keep reading.I have been looking to get into archery for a few years now and recently made the move. Ive been to quite a few shops around Utah and finally found what I was looking for both in a pro shop and bow. Unless you plan to tune your equipment yourself youll need to rely on the pro shop for tuning and maintenance which is why the shop you choose is so important. The guys at Wilde Arrow Archery are great to work with and knowledgable about the brands they sell and others on the market. I mainly worked with Dillon and it was a great experience. There was no pressure to buy the best of the best, no bad mouthing of other brands or shops, no up-selling, no steering to a brand that may be the most profitable for them. I told them my level of experience, what specs I was looking for and the price point and they pulled bows at and below that for me to try and left the decision up to me. They were very helpful through the process and answered any questions I had with expert advice and personal opinions. I cant stress the no pressure aspect enough. If great service and knowledge arent enough their prices are also comparable and sometimes better to other local and national shops and online retailers as well. Best of all, when buying a new bow, they give you a punch card for two free bow tuneups and 8 range passes where theyll help you with the setup and your form. I cant say enough great things about these guys. Make sure you check them out.

Main reason for the 3 stars is their prices for service & parts and the wait times for busy season work. I brought in two first time shooters with their new bows (wife and kid) and neither one wants to shoot any more because of their experience here. All the employees were more concerned about gabbing it up amongst each other than helping us as we sat at the counter waiting. Seemed very bothered to help them get set up with their bows (needed draw adjustment and peep adjustment) almost like they were trying to send the message that since we didnt buy the bows there they didnt want to serve us there. I expected to pay for the service so I wasnt looking for a freebie just needed someone with some knowledge to get them set up shooting. Ive never been treated like that at humphreys or jakes archery. Very disappointing especially when we were the only customers in the building and there were like 5 of them st the beginning of the stay. I only hope I can get my kid and wife back to try it again somewhere else.

Very unprofessional and there is definitely an attitude here. I have had much better service from Cabelas and the staff there seems more knowledgeable.
