Visiting in the pandemic is certainly very different experience from normal. But tje resort was still nicely maintained. I was given a bag of toiletries upon check-in. The room was just so-so, but I dont think people going there will expect luxury rooms. Play area and steam room is closed due to the pandemic, and there were not as many chairs around in the courtyard. We were still be able to find available chairs though. The weather was HOT, normally over 115 degrees. Outside in the day you cant do anything except staying in the pool, getting wet and cool. Most guys were friendly, as well as their staff. Youll get used to nudity pretty soon. The maze behind rooms were fun places to go. Overall it was positive experience for me. And Id probably go back, but not in the summer.
Very friendly staff that went above and beyond to accommodate my group during a busy and fully booked holiday weekend when we arrived without reservations. Not only they allowed us into the property to relax while we waited for a solution, they found us a room right by the pool! The pools are great, especially the little one with the waterfall feature, it’s a very unique spot, worth the visit.
Staff is always great. Rooms were very clean and sanitized. It was nice to finally feel almost normal again. They are taking all steps to protect guests. From scanning temps to requiring masks while in the office. We will be back soon.
A vast wonderland of earthly delights. Many a joyful memory has been forged here, and the staff is congenial and gracious. I love ccbc. It’s better than Cats. I’m going to visit it again and again.
Ive stayed at CCBC Resort Hotel times, both in a regular room and as a camping guest (Im not sure if they still have a campground). The pool area is large, surrounded by a large green lawn. Ive had a great time whenever Ive been there. NOTE:: One of the nicest features of CCBC is that a large part of the grounds are clothing-optional, which creates an ambiance thats welcoming and exciting.
First time at CCBC and we were not disappointed. Great mix of guys and extensive grounds to explore.
Once again I feel ripped off by $$$ and shifty service. I worked in luxury resorts for years and would never treat guests the way this shothole does. Guests should have stayed at the Hilton Rivera or Something comparable. When I arrived the desk people were talk long hard about guests yet again. After some old bitty told one of his coworkers how I was nothing like my adam 4 adam profile. Not the kind of thing to in earshot of a guest ever. 0 stars for these queens. Poor traing and non inclusive resort. Got me twice now
I always have a hot time at ccbc. Even with the play areas closed due to this pandemic, there was still plenty of fun going on.
I wasnt overly impressed with the place. My main gripe was with the air conditioning. When you have a resort in the desert, you sure as hell better have great air conditioning. 120 degrees outside and 95 degrees inside with air conditioner running at full blast. The wall units dont sufficiently keep the rooms cool. Covid related closures of certain features of the resort made for a less than exciting trip. It was just a meh experience for me. Not sure Id go again. Many other resorts that live up to the Resort name.
I was here in 2019 but Wanted to say your staff were so accommodating for the event I was there for. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms well appointed. Thanks for the hospitality!
The scent of orange blossoms in the fully enclosed grounds was amazing. There is plenty of room for sunning and socializing either by the pool or on the well-maintained lawn. The rooms vary from basic rooms to well—appointed suites. All are clean with comfortable beds and good bathroom facilities. The play space was very ample and interesting for guys who wished to play.
Location amazing. Staff amazing. Restaurant food could be better but it’s still amazing having it on-site. The room itself: bed was comfy, Bathroom was clean, plenty of towels provided, the floors however were sticky and had candies stuck to them. Will I stay here again? Absolutely, I just hope the floors aren’t as gross next time. But the overall experience was a solid 8. Thanks! Till next time.
Ccbcs is a gay male clothing optional cruise place. It has been around for quite awhile, it’s updated its grounds and rooms and hospitality has improved somewhat. Due to weather it is ideal to hang on days when it’s warm, like Spring and summer months. Winters at night forget it.The cruising is limited cuz it’s cold. Do like that they provide robes though, best to hang on those cold nites w a buddy or group. The little sex dens are made for outdoor temps hanging in the mid 70s on up, that’s the best time to play. Otherwise it’s more of a gay mans resort w occasional sex trists I’m happy to hang there, but day trips here work best to hang in winters and maybe a night, condoms recommended or not but are definitely supplied.
CCBC is a wonderful resort, clothing optional, very nice friendly staff and a lot fun.
The friendliness of the staff and the visitors is incredible. Lots to do and very relaxing
Amazing resort and even better staff. Love this place and can’t wait to go back.
Great food and excellent service in the restaurant and bar. A refreshing and enjoyable experience.
Decent hotel but the front desk staff is beyond rude. Had to argue to get a 30 min extension on check out. 30 MINUTES. When leaving, got yelled at by Travis at the front desk about how I was dressed in the parking lot. I’ve never been spoken to in such a unprofessional way from anyone in ‘hospitality’. Go spend your money somewhere else where they understand what hospitality is.
The real attraction here is the opportunity to relax by the clothing optional pool and play on the clothing optional grounds. The room was basic but clean and adequately appointed. The staff was pleasant & accommodating. The adjacent bar & restaurant, The Runway, was excellent.
We stayed four nights at the resort. The room was clean but spartan. Nothing fancy here. Our only complaint concerned the bathroom. It had a pedestal sink so nowhere to set anything and one towel rod to handle towels for three people and their bathing suits. A few hooks and a couple shelves would be nice. Its not in a bad part of town, but our license plate was stolen off our car, and no security cameras in the parking lot. This said, if youre there for a weekend of cruising, this is the place.
What I saw online looked super nice. What I saw in person was not so nice so that is my big disappointment. From black mold on the shower curtain to rotting walls in the bathroom it really wasnt very good unfortunately. Our check in was delayed as the room wasnt ready even though the resort was fairly empty...so strange. We had to sweep the floor of our room ourselves. We put all the dirt in a pile to the side for housekeeping to pick up but it stayed there the whole week we were there despite us talking with front desk. When we asked for a broom they just laughed and asked what for. We explained but they didnt even offer to come and clean up. Really surprising. The other thing is the price we paid was comparable to 4 or 5 star accommodations. This was more like 1 or 2 star. I think Motel 6 might have been better which is shocking considering what we thought we were going to get. On the upside, staff are very friendly. I think because its a gay resort they just arent ready to jump to any concerns and fix it right away. Not sure why that wouldnt be a priority to be honest.
I enjoyed having a restaurant on the property. It was great for lunch so you did not have to leave to get food and waste good sun time around the pool.
Nice local get away, private and mature (great staff....sunny...nice to see them back in the saddle!
A place where people can TRUELY be themselves. Book early (especially if one of the events is occurring) as it can get full.Day passes are available, along with package deals for those wanting to gain membership band use the facilities as a regular thing.Guest rooms and grounds are immaculately kept and maintained. Steam room, heated swimming pool with 8 deep end, two hot tubs and cold water pool with waterfall. Regular events and entertainment/performers, super friendly and helpful staff.Bar and restaurant, serving really good food is just outside the main resort complex, but clothes must be worn once past the resort reception. Bar is open and accessible to general public, so there are no exemptions.Somewhere I was nervous about attending and unsure how I would feel, but somewhere I have to say I feel so at home and comfortable spending time.To the entire staff and regular resort attendees, thank you for making someone feel so welcome and part of the family without any form of judgement. I cant wait to get back, but for now thankfully I still have a bit longer before I have to leave. If I could give it a score of 10 stars I would in a heartbeat. There is truly something for everyone.
Meant to put 5, dont know why it was a 4☆ the staff is always nice and is always clean
Enjoyed myself thoroughly. wonderfully relaxing and exhausting. lol
Very hot outside and the bathroom/sauna rooms are locked up. So are the video rooms. Came here on a Sunday afternoon 10th July and it was very empty. Paid for a 6hr pass. 12hr pass have been canceled! Not coming here again.
Weather was perfect which allowed for sun bathing around the pool. Rooms are spacious and bedding was comfortable. Staff were all friendly, helpful and polite.
When I had an issue with my original room, they immediately addressed my concerns and upgraded me to one of the nicest suites on the property free of charge. I definitely would stay here again.
The most outdoor space and amenitys by far of all the gay clothing optional resorts in the cochella valley.
Not the greatest I have to say. Room wasnt ready at 3pm checkin to start. The room itself was quite awful and not as advertised. Black mold on shower curtain. We had to sweep our own floor it was so dirty and that dirt mound stayed for the whole week despite us letting staff know. We had to ask for towels, toilet paper, cups or any needs daily. Cleaning was not attentive at all. Front desk staff were very friendly however and the Runway restaurant was nice. Considering the astronomical price we paid at this time our expectations were extremely high. Extremely under delivered. Disappointing!July 17/20 Update - Just to add to the owner response as I dont see how to anywhere else. 4 months after the rental...NO, the owner did not handle the issue directly. Its kind of awkward because we felt they were issues that would we would never ever have to even bring up anywhere else we have ever stayed.
Property has been recently upgraded/refreshed and now has a restaurant as well. Food is excellent and prices are reasonable. However, they need better mattresses.
Always have a great time.
Everything was excellent....the staff was helpful and friendly...they made my week so enjoyable
I love staying here in owners and staff always there to meet your concerns if you have them booked for 2 days and stayed 3 extra days
Its always a great time at CCBC However, since the Runway restaurant went in There is no longer continental breakfast for the guests @ the hotel. I understand that you want to make money off the guests @ the restaurant but, it should be there to compliment the hotel not, a benefit taken away from the guests. This left a bad vibe with myself and my guest. Runway should be there as an option not a requirement.
Not a good experience. Clean the room for health sake!
I can’t say enough great things about this place. The staff is amazing, it’s always clean and their events are always awesome! I love getting away and just being able to relax by the pool with friends and make new ones as well. The restaurant “Runway” has an awesome breakfast and a great happy hour. It’s a must check out if you’re in Palm Springs
CCBC get away for a fun Palm Springs vacation. We only left the place once.
Great place to stay!
After being stranded 4 hours from home by the person i came with, it took a while to find a ride home, bus doesnt allow pets so i had to pay someone 300 to come get me.Check out is at 11 my ride was arriving at 4, Even though i just paId 700 for 3 nights off season with mostly empty resort and not good weather, i wasnt allowed on property unless i bought a $25 day pass and had no pet. So they charged me 75 for a half day room rental.Even though i explained my situation, the cost i was paying for the ride home, ride on their way and just paid for 3 nights... they couldnt do anything to help in an emergency.Granted not their problem, its my fault for sllowing my anger to make decisions with out researching altwrnatives. However i would think (at least if i owned a company) an establishment would want to help those who spend money there and in a situation. I wasnt asking to stay in my room free, just wait on property with my dog instead of on the curb. Now the place is off season, dead, a workday and not the best weather. So if you decide to stay at CCBC, beware, emergencies or unexpected situations are not welcomed. Ill include a pic of my dog, doesnt bark, very well behaved/trained and small.
I have no words to describe this place. i guess you will need to come and visit sometime. its definitely worth it. there is something for everybody.
Every time I come to Palm Springs I always try to stay at one place: the CCBC! The staff is incredible, super nice and accommodating. The pool and facilities are always clean and well maintained. The rooms are cozy and well cleaned and I always feel welcome!Even if I can’t get a room (due to my lack of planning) I always make it a point to get a day pass so that i can relax by the pool or sit in one of the hot tubs with some incredibly nice people. What’s not to love?Highly recommend.
This is a gay, clothing optional resort. It is very well kept and the atmosphere is relaxed. It has a pool, hot tub and everything you need for a great time. They have a very nice restaurant which is completely separate from the guest house. I went to the restaurant with a large group for lunch. The food was excellent and the service was good. You wouldnt know it was associated with a clothing optional gay guest house. You would feel comfortable taking a family there. They have a full bar and a generous pour!
Service was a little slow. Servers were courteous and tried very hard to please. Food was well prepared though it took awhile to get to the table.A great place to have a leisurely Sunday brunch.Very clean place!
Love this place. Friendly staff. Great specia events. Love the pool & hot tubs. The latest upgrades are really nice, especially The Runway bar & restaurant. Can’t wait to come back.
Very clean, comfortable bed, on-site bar/restaurant is convenient and has delicious offerings.
Everything was great. Thanks Two suggestions:Iron and the board in rooms Check your towels before placing them. Mine was torn :)
Decent pool party. But I like warm sand better.
This place is top notch in my book. We came for dinner in the restaurant and met the owner and his lovely friends. The food was delicious, they had options for my best girl kleopatra although we dis not bring her. We didnt know it was dog friendly which means alot to us. We then decided to go inside and check out the place. The front desk staff were super sweet and friendly. The grounds were clean and beautiful. The play rooms were clean as well. They were having a party the day so we decided to come back the next day. We payed for our room for the next night b4 we left eager to return the next day to lay poolside. We got some terrible news from home about 1 that next afternoon. We had to leave palm springs immediately. I called, they could not have been more understandingand refunded my whole 263.00 bucks which was alot to us for the room. You have made customers for life and we will definitely be back. Keep up the good work. Thanks so much for a wonderful experience.
I loved the property and the pool area. Great events going on. The room i was in was pretty basic and for what it was, it was a bit overpriced. But none the less i still had an amazing time. Im already trying to figure out when i can come back next year.
Such a fun place. I met so many great people. The staff were amazing and very friendly. The bear events are a lot of fun!!
Too expensive and I was not allowed to tour the facility before making the purchase.
CCBC Suite #21. Hi. I am Sterlings Palm Springs Massage. A couple of days ago I had a double outcall massage at the CCBC resort! It had been a couple of years since I had been there last...I do 98% of my work at my studio in PS. CCBC always had it own massive parking area...they used some of that space to build a club/restaurant and it looks impressive... from the outside. It was two weeks away from their grand opening. My clients were in suite #21. CCBC has a central grass lounging area that rises and their suite is at the top with an entry patio area with furniture. The main room had a clean zen masculine feeling. The floors( not really sure what is composition of it) was dark charcoal linear and a grey sectional couch facing a large plasma screen. It had a cozy feel yet an open feeling to the room. I set up my massage table in the master bedroom. It has french doors looking out to the patio. The room had a small table, large bed and a big plasma screen TV streaming! At the finish of the massages I washed my hands in the master bathroom. I was amazed at how rich, masculine and super clean this bathroom was! The fixtures, chrome and glass kind of all flowed together in amazing tile display. There were a couple of dark tones & even gloss black micro tiles on the wall. The floor had rectangular grey porcelain tile. Nothing like a new awesome bathroom with a deep walk in shower with super clean glass everywhere. I had a mini coke from the kitchen refrigerator. The kitchen area was also new appliances and counter tops nicely done. Suite #21 gets five stars.
Met friends for breakfast this morning. Wonderful service and a great breakfast. Had the brunch burger . Yummm.
Had great time. And they have day passes
It looked like all most a total make over good job.
Nice, relaxing, great amenities, comfortable environment, and a getaway for most inhibitionists. Fun times!
The calm, chill vibe. The improvements made a strong impression. Having not been there in 2 years, I was really pleased. Took a friend whod never been there and he loved it.
Great location and atmosphere. A was a little surprised at the taxes and fees at check out.
Staff is not helpful. No shampoo in the room. When I asked in front desk told me I should buy.
For a gay clothing optional resort, great place if you are ok with who you are. Great salt water pool. The play area is the entire.place. An open door policy to make sure you can play all you want. Have fun!
The property is well maintained and packs a lot of unique discreet items into a relatively compact location. Unlike their competitors they have not had the luxury/ability to buy the motel next door and like a belt after Thanksgiving dinner, add a few more notches. And it is an advantage because they put thought into each small part that combines into a comfortable, welcoming, dynamic and interesting resort. Finally, the Management truly wants his patrons to enjoy a level of service that is paid for but also should be invisible. That is as small as an extra towel or changing a room... it is not problem, it is service.
The day pass is a 12-hour pass which is incredible and allows you to come in and out at your own pace if you need to go get something you can run to the store and get it. The staff and everybody was helpful and nice and personable. The venue for Pride was a lot of fun and I loved the playrooms..... Awesome place will stay there next time. And the men were hot.
Been going here for 20 years. Kind of run down back then, but new ownership has totally turned it around. All the rooms are painted bright colors outside, the play areas are excellent (as are the new additions) and how can you go wrong with swimming naked under the desert sun (just remember to bring the sunscreen!). Have not been since Runway opened, but looking forward to checking it out next visit.
Yesterday was my first time to visit(overnight) CCBC, and I was so happy with the welcoming of the staff, and the cleanliness of the place, and the well appointed rooms.Cant wait to visit again.Jessay
The resort itself is pretty secluded, although being located on Gay Resort Dr. isnt going to help it stay hidden by any means. The accommodations were decent, a bit just honestly, and the clientele was less than. It was the first week of January tho, so Im leaving just enough wiggle room for that. Of I had to decide whether to return it not based on this experience alone, I would not - except maybe to film screens for the horror movie that played in my head the entire time. For that, this place was unbelievably perfect.
Clothing optional resort. When busy can be a lot of fun filled with lots of gay male adult action happening all around the resort in the many public play spaces offered, if in the right mood you are sure to find yourself some hot fun to be had. So if looking for the adult play type venue this is your place. I will end this public review there, dont want to take it to a negative place! Lol
I cannot speak highly enough about our stay at CCBC. First and foremost, everyone needs to be aware of where they are staying: an all-male, clothing-optional resort in an exurb of Palm Springs. That should help clarify the clientele that is generally attracted to stay at CCBC--all of whom that I met during our stay were lovely, friendly and respectful. The resort itself was clean, the pools always warm, the towels plentiful and the shared spaces well looked-after. Though the environment did host guests for a negligible fee, I never felt unsafe, or that the resort was overrun by non-guests.The true highlights come in two forms, for me: the new restaurant added to the premises, Runway--which served delicious food, is employed by warm and fun-loving staff and whose presence attracted locals and tourists from all over to bring new energy to the resort each day.But if you want to know what truly made CCBC special it was the staff at the front desk and the grounds in general. Never have I ever met a group of people so willing, eager and excited to say yes to their guests--to find ways to make our stay more enjoyable and to ensure that all of our needs were met.I will definitely be back to CCBC at every opportunity. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!
Love this resort because has videos rooms
Had a great time. Staff was friendly, but not intrusive. Plenty of things going on. Room was clean and comfortable. Wasnt as busy as last time I visited, but still lots of other different guests to mingle with!
Naked pool parties. Yes sir!
Quite the experience.. Any fantasy you may have you can definitely make it a reality here.. Huge property with lots to do and beautiful rooms...my favorite resort so far
I had wonderful conversations with many of the guests. A day by the pool was pleasing. Clean grounds, clean pools, very nice clientele. A pleasant day all around.
Epic fun
Spacious rooms, helpful and friendly staff. Basic amenities plus free premium specialty video streaming. Fun with friends and making new ones
I love this place. The staff is great and always helpful. The resort is large and fun. My rooms have always been nice and well maintained. I like having a refrigerator and microwave in every room. Direct TV so if you are so inclined to be watching TV there are lots of choices. Plenty of activity to partake in on property. Pool is nice. Crowd is mostly older like myself but that is okay. Recommend this place if a nice gay resort is on your itinerary next time you are in the Coachella Valley. If you are coming in season (Jan thru May) I recommend staying during weeknights as weekends there are always events and room prices rise accordingly.
The food was much better when they had there soft opening. The batter they on the onions rings and country fried chicken(same batter) WAY too spicy. Sent the onions rings back. And my husband pealed the batter off the chicken. I must say the manager did comp. our 2 meals and the rings. So we will give it a try again down the road. Also a lot of Mexican dishes.
Great resorts lots of play areas
2 words: Absolutely Fabulous!
A very nice, completely gay, resort. Ive visited here several times. I mainly come with my partner who winds up being ogled for his great looks, but I, not being so ogled as he, and somewhat beyond the age of XX, tend to hang out in our commodious--but not recently decorated at least on the times I was last there--room. Once my partner and I lay down on our bed and as we looked around the room, there were several nice, but curious, gentlemen, gazing in at us. In such situations, I tend to quickly fall apart, yet, usually, quickly regain my composure enough to laugh about it, as I wish I were 29 again. . . .The soft drinks are a bit expensive, at $2 per pop. The morning breakfasts are not quite to write home about. The service is quite excellent, and even slings are available (although, of course, I would often be too bashful to use one, publicly especially! It is just nice to know they are there.) The palm lined, acres of grounds are quite nice, as are the spas, pools and fountains. All in all, a relaxing and quite entertaining, resort!
A big Gay Mans x-rated disneyland. Several pools. Clothing Optional. Decent rooms, ranging in price, some are a little high. Play spaces set up all around the compound. If you cant find a ride. pick a spot to hangout and let the ride come to you. Host of the Cum Union Parties for the desert cities around Palm Springs. Popular with the locals. They offer day passes as well.
Staff has zero personality the some rooms have been upgraded new showers which are great and new beds which very comfy. I can wait to try the runway when charge is the new restaurant on site. Menu looks great.
Always a blast and lots of hot fun
Great place always fun !
Cool resort, definitely enjoyed our stay. The rooms were nice loved the updated shower. They definitely need to work on the fit and finish of their rooms.
Love it
Theyve made some improvements & changes since I was there last, but some other things are looking shabby.Word of advice: Dont go to these sort of places looking for other guys around & after sunset, as they first go out to dinner, then to the night clubs.
I stopped by the restaurant Runway for a quick bite to eat and a couple if drinks with friends. I really liked the airport theme. We shared the chicken strips and fried pickles. The pickles were crunchy and sooo yummy and the chicken was perfectly seasoned n spicey. I ordered the chicken ceasar salad and I really enjoyed it. I washed it all down with a couple Titos n cranberries. I had a great time. Ill definitely be back as soon as possible. Thanks guys!
Have only been here for special events...havent stayed here yet. But it has been a fun and enjoyable experience. The lobby is super small and gets crowded quickly during large events. But it works. I have seen a few of the room and they look very nice. Clean and updated.
I heard never had a bad time at CCBC. I do wish it wasnt quite as expensive as it is makes it tough to go as often as I would like
Run down, tired, really pretty poor looking. The price for the stay is excessive in any measure. My favorite is the coffee and vending machine in the canteen. Was interesting to see, once. But not again.
As far a gay clothing optional resorts go...this place was great. I look forward to staying again.
We have been going to CCBC for 10 years and will continue to come back. The rooms are updated and very nice. The grounds are kept clean and they have a nice swimming pool and 2 hot tubs. The new restaurant, Runway, has great food and a very friendly staff. It is located just outside the main entrance to CCBC.One of the best things about this resort is the very friendly and welcoming staff.I have normally given this resort 5 stars in recent years, however I can only give them 4 stars for our last trip. A few items they could improve on would be:1. The maid service has slipped. The floors of our unit were never swept, one time they took all the towels but did not bring new ones, and another time they never showed up.2. Since they have opened the restaurant they have taken away the continental breakfast and good coffee machine. Now they serve coffee in thermos containers and it was luke warm at best and not that good. They do offer any breakfast at the restaurant for $7 if you are a guest of the resort which is nice, but bring back the coffee machine!3. They removed the drinking fountains from the resort. It would be nice to have those back but its not a deal breaker.4. During Memorial Day weekend, they had no special event. No DJs, No Drag Shows, No BBQ. They have always done this in the past. This weekend was the lowest attendance I have ever seen for Memorial Day weekend. Bring back the entertainment, which in turn may bring back the Day Passers and fill this place up.Overall this is still a great place to stay!
