Ive been fishing every day there for over a month, i havent caught anything. The water skiing has been good though. I only see paddle boarders out there. Im usually the only boat for some reason.
What an absolute joke. No news, no updates, no planned timeline for opening. Waste. Once again our elected officials accomplishing absolutely nothing.
We love it its beautiful. Its well worth the 20$ and hour drive from the house. It doesnt stink like most of the city lakes. The community there is extremely friendly. Thay have life guards on her skis. Thay also have porta-jons, which is convenient.the only thing I have complaints about is one of the life guards was racing around the lake on his jet ski and it wasnt necessary. other than that Im impressed. Thank you
Closed to the public for fishing until 2022
Looks pretty from a distance, but no road Access
Looks great from the road, too bad you cant go there no info anywhere for anything..
ANOTHER Screw Up BY PARKER!
I have lived in Parker for 31 years and our town and Frank Jaeger were the planners for the reservoir. Then other communities BOUGHT their way in. We now see where Castle Pines is planning 1,300 new residential units and that should equate to about 3,000 more people flushing toilets. Also 900,000 square feet of new commercial - more water usage. Add more children for the existing school system and YES the builders dont care. The current residents will be asked to build more schools - most likely within the new community - since the builder donates land for these schools. Isnt that just special. This growth is happening all over northern Douglas County - when is the term SEMI-ARID going to be realized as a fact. Unchecked growth will ruin it for everyone. Please local governments - dont be lured by the initial large check from a developer.. Residential homes have never paid their own way. The rooftops are wanted to bring commercial and their sales and use taxes. A circle of greed. Please think of the current residents and the quality of life.Thank you, Caryl Lee Roberts and John Vick
