Always enjoy the views, excellent people and dogs every visit, friendly sort of community here.I appreciate finding Casper Rocks, and little treasures like the Throwing Stick Box.Im prompted to update my review every several months, and its always been 5 stars from me.

Leash free 1 mile loop down by the river. Every time I visit my parents me and my pup visit pretty much every day.

This is a great park for dogs. They can run free on the banks of the river and in the case of our dogs... in the river. Plenty of parking.

Loved this place, Dog off lease river wood and walking path, but the direction did not take us to the entrance.

Easily a five star rating. Only got 4 tonight because of people issues. Now, to be fair and clear, this is an off leash dog park. That said, it is heavily used as a pass through for bikers, runners, and walkers. The issue isnt so much dogs as owners that stop to converse in the middle of the path or that dont attempt to get their pets to one side of path for traffic to pass. Love that Casper has such a nice place for off leash activities though!

If you own a large or giant breed dont take it here. Other pet owners especially of medium size dogs are not the best at controlling them. Thankfully I keep my dog on leash no matter what and have avoided fights but I am done after too many close calls.

Perfect park for eating, dogs, riding your bike and taking a stroll.

Great place to see the river with your fur baby!

A nice quiet time, good for get together, theres covered places with grill and tables, need to reserve a spot for those places. Other sites around the lake with a grill and a table, good for picnics to get away, never been to crowded. Entrance fee around $3.00 to enter.

Best dog park in town. Plenty on paths and routes and lots of running room. Since there are no leash requirements all the dogs are friendly and inquisitive. Its usually the ones on a leash that pose a problem, probably from reading the emotions if there owner. However, Ive never once had a bad encounter.

This is a great place to take us dig if its FRIENDLY. Or to take ur kids if they r kind of scared of dogs because all the dogs big nd small we ran into were all very nice digs. Just wanted a pat on the head and to lick a little face. We had a great time today..

I love this place. Its great for dog owners because you can have your dogs off the leash and walk the path or play in the water with them. There is access to clean up bags and trash cans. For the most part it is well maintained. We take our dogs almost everyday here. Never had a problem with any other dogs or people.

Absolutely beautiful park with plenty of trails to walk through even with a fully packed parking lot with the large amount of space its quite a while before you run into another person. Love taking my dogs there so that they can work on interacting with other dogs and exhausting them set their calm and quiet when we go back home.

I was hoping to find a dog park in Casper since we just moved here with our golden retriever. They have a leash law and all the other parks then we found this one and we were so excited. There is a beautiful Trail going through a bit of wilderness and you have view of the river and some shallow areas of the river where your dog can go in if it likes to. It was fun for kids too they love throwing rocks in the river you can also go there to get into the river for tubing that sounds like a lot of fun so we will be coming back soon.

Awesome little park . equipped with huge dog run and a huge paved trail. Ive always had a lot of fun here. Plus a river lunch/check point when your brave enough to float the always cold Platte River lol

When kayaking, this is a great place to get out.

They are doing a good job of cleaning it up. I just wish people that take their dogs would clean up after them.

I love walking in this park. The Riverwalk is nice generally quiet and just enjoyable.

Love this park, its huge and there are things for the whole family there. Access to the river, a boat launch, a paved trail for walkers or cyclists, lots of nature to enjoy, and dogs are welcome to be off leash here!

Its fun to see the dogs roaming freely as joggers run along side the river. The walk around the park is long enough to do just one lap and give your dog enough exercise.

Nice place to spend time with your pets. There is however an issue with the ponds all covered with a green algae and some pets have developed skin rashes.

Great place to let the dogs roam. Please do not bring dogs that are mean or skiddish for this is a busy place, especially in summer time! Be aware this is also a bike path not just a dog park. So please everyone respect everyone on the path. Bicyclists please use proper warnings on the path, everyones families and dogs would really appreciate it. (Seems most dont get this memo) Overall, great place to bring your pups to interact with their pup friends!

Great off leash dog area

Do not go here if you do not like dogs. But if you have a dog, this is the best off-leash dog park your dog will ever encounter!There are paths, trails, trees with plenty of squirrels, and a river to splash in (but it is not really fenced, so be sure your dog is under control before bringing him by a road!). I have found most of the people and most of the dogs here to be friendly.Do NOT go here if you are afraid of dogs. Do NOT go here if you do not like dogs. Be very careful in the parking lot, as dogs may be off leash in the parking lot. There are picnic tables, but its probably not the best place to eat your lunch (at least not if you want to be the only one eating your lunch). And just for good measure: DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU DO NOT LIKE DOGS.

The park is awesome got a little pain there with station it would like to bite your toes and be careful if you have little kids are dogs we are wild animals there but it is awesome

My favorite place to take my dog. Though there are some owners that do not pick up after their own dogs and let agressive dogs loose.

I like this park but not as much as I liked it a few years ago. It has changed to a people park which allow dogs to be off leash. It was in the past a dog park that allowed people to be off leash.
