This place is awesome! Its done a 180 since I was last in! First of all, the staff are all super friendly. Second, they have great quality movies and comfy chairs. And third, the food is DELICIOUS. I had the pizza, and this pizza was one of the best pizzas I think Ive ever had. I might even go see a movie just to eat that pizza again. Seems like not too many people know about this place yet, so seating was easy. I was able to get amazing seats opening night of the Star Wars. I kinda didnt want to tell anyone, so I can have my little movie theater to myself, but I just had to share. Thanks Fun Movie Grill!

I was a little hesitant about going but they have regular movies for cheap cheap prices. Family friendly. Food was good. Nacho taco bar was delicious! Staff was helpful and friendly. Advertisement says $5 Monday will definitely be checking it out soon even though the tickets were only like $6.75. Will be a new favorite.

I didnt know what to expect, but I knew the evening movie was only $6 so I tried it...nice decor, great concessions with full bar and food, mostly Indian cuisine which I love. The theaters are small with no real surround sound, but have stadium type seating and recliner seats. The previews are minimal and the ads are all local. Its a pretty good, inexpensive place that I will definitely go to again!

I wish I could give it 5 stars but my experience there brought it down to a 1. My boyfriend and I went to watch Onward and we were pretty excited since we havent been to this theater before, but there was this girl in the front that was pretty discriminatory. I had to use the bathroom before the movie and she watched me go down the hallway and even kept telling me where it was even though it was obvious. She also checked my bag twice, which is okay she was doing her job, but she checked it so thoroughly it bothered me, ESPECIALLY when I didnt see her check other bags like she did mine. If youre Hispanic and want to watch a movie here just be aware of some discrimination.

Although this could be a nice theater with some upgrades, the fact that they don’t clean up between movies is a turn off. I wouldn’t order any food from this place because if they don’t clean the theaters then I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. NO THANKS! There’s no sense in saying the chairs are nice. Just go to a real theater.

This movie theater feels like a quiet hidden getaway with a sharp suit wearing manager and a staff in nice proper uniform. I have watched several movies here with my family and even bought my friends to come. Once you enter the theater its like you are transported into a different place because of the architecture inside. Even though they always seem to be working on updating certain things to better accommodate the public, the staff is always doing their best to make you feel comfortable by taking care of you quickly as possible. The food here is really good, so before listening to anyone just come try it yourself. I like when no one comes to cleans right after the movie is over this way I dont feel rushed to leave right away and can enjoy the end credits. Thank you. Good Blessings towards a New Year!

Loved our experience there! Found it in groupon one day. I always thought they only showed cultural movies but they show all kinds. The staff were very pleasant and the theater itself was really beautiful and extra comfy seats. My kids kept saying WOW because of how pretty the place is even with the bathrooms. Definitely coming back!

Purchased tickets online to watch a movie with my girlfriend. We decided to eat at the theater, but when we arrived we were informed the kitchen was closed. Because there are no refunds, we could not leave to eat. I am giving 2 stars because we had to watch the movie while starving. If the kitchen is closed, it should be advertised on their website. We will not be returning to this theater.

The theater is dead and empty. Bad service, but more like no service. the staff there seems clueless about everything, no one cleans between movies, there are no previews before the movie, they had to change theater rooms on us due to technical difficulties. And the chair really hurt your back

This is the first time weve been since ownership change. Tickets were cheap, theater was good enough, and chairs were comfortable. In most eat in theaters the food is awful, but that pizza with tandoori chicken was oddly delicious. The only thing I would improve is to add servers like most dine in places have.

Its the cheapest theater around. The decor is a little cheap. But the seats are recliners and very comfy. And the snack bar prices arent bad. But some of the entrees look very unappetizing. But for the price of admission I say you get your moneys worth. 4 stars for budget friendly theater.

The black screen we got half way through Rise of the Skywalker was better than the actual movie.But in all seriousness, great food, excellent staff, and great prices. Phenomenal way to spend an afternoon with friends.

Nice clean motor adjustable leather seats save a little on ticket price and avoid crowds.

The management has to pull the trigger to start a movie and it’s normal for them to forget doing that for more than half hour. Another point to note is they only clean whenever they feel like.

A renovated theatre with decent environment. The screen size is medium and sound effects could be improved. Seatings are far better than the previous ones. Pretty good maintenance. Groupon deals available all round the year, making the ticket price as cheap as $5 per person. The desi plaza magazine has discounts for canteen also.

Good place to go see a movie! It was a Wednesday night, so the theater was mostly empty. The theater had a nice and relaxed vibe, and the gentleman at the ticket counter was very pleasant. The chairs are the recliner type, and are pretty comfortable!

I am here to share the feedback on using FUNMOVIE GRILL MOVIE PASS which is really great having different packages and myself/friends chosen platinum package which costs every month of $19.99 and the package is mentioned as Any Day/Any show. Today we went and looking for new movies which are release not available in our platinum package which is disappointing and when i reached out to support team they have been mentioning it is not in their control and that is controlled by production house and i feel like these moviepasses are getting signup with their offers/packages but which would really not meet the expectations when we needed at right time and paying $19.99 kind of worth when movies are available on-time. Please take a look before signing up :(

Attended the 9:55pm showing for Joker. The theatre hadn’t even been cleaned, multiple people - myself included - had to move trash just to sit down. Could be a pretty neat setup, the chairs are comfortable and the price is good, but this theatre is still garbage since the previous owners maintained it. Unfortunate that the place hasn’t changed. Won’t be back. Wouldn’t recommend you try it either.

Took my girl here and we saw some Indian dance movie. Overall the theater was decent.

They are new. We paid only $12 for 2 tickets for Lion King.They offer adult beverages as well as pizza, among the usual movie offerings. The seats are large, comfortable and will recline. They have a birthday party room that can be rented for parties.

What a great little movie theater! not very crowded, tickets are reasonably priced and staff was very friendly. The food smelled good but we didnt get anything as we had just eaten elsewhere, will definitely try next time.

The party room is spacious and purrfect for private events. The staff is friendly and helpful. The managerial staff is helpful and accomodating. My event went off without a hitch thanks to the gracious way we were treated. I highly recommend this theater for private events.

Obviously this isn’t the Venetian theater anymore but I found it much better when it was. The service is so bad now. Ordering food took forever which sucks because you can no longer order from the theater at your seat. Seats were really comfortable but no longer had the small tables to eat with. We used to love the sampler platter that used to be offered with wings and I wish theyd have a variety of food. The popcorn was not fresh and they don’t have butter for it. The speakers also sounded like they blew out and the room was really hot as if the AC wasn’t on. I miss the old way this theater was.

STAY AWAY!I am being forced to give them one star or I wouldn’t even give them that. Absolutely the worst possible experience anyone can have. We bought a groupon and drove 30 mins away to redeem that with our family, but the guy at the service desk was racist af. If you dislike people who come in with groupons then don’t sell a freaking groupon man! Ridiculous! And it was a very humiliating experience...

It was a so so experience. The seats dont fully recline. The food service was very slow. It took more than an hour to get our tea, even though there were only 4 patrons. Still it was not a bad experience. And the price is good.

I had a great time. Went to see Jumanji this weekend. The theater was not crowded which was great. The chairs were very cpnfortable they recline all the way. It seemed cleaned when i went in. We didnt order food. We went in early because we were arpund the area so we relaxed in there for a while before the movie. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere its different than what you would find at a regular chain. I liked it will definitely come back. Our tickets were $6 not bad.

The theater was very dirty and the food was bad. The theater had popcorn, drinks and crumbs everywhere when I got into the theater. The food was not fresh and was dry. This was the worst movie theater I have ever been to.

Theater was trashy. I guess No one cleans after a movie. We watched a late night movie and our seats were sticky from a drink spill. There was no one to check the tickets forget about keeping the theater clean. Men bathroom urinals were leaking, the floor was flooded.AND the show did not start even after about 30 minutes. When inquired the person at the concessions stand then sent someone to tell another person to start the movie.

Did not like this place. They wanted to keep my bag durring the movie so I gave them the ticket back without a refund and now Im on my way to a normal movie theater. Whats next, a pat down and my wifes .

I love having the a not so busy and expensive no ore theater so close to my home. Movies have been mostly empty and the theater is clean. And they have Indian food to order and beer!

This was the worse experience. I was unable to use my groupon due to us not seeing the same movie. We would have left but we drove 20 mins there. The air and heat was off and they had construction going on during the movie. We could not enjoy the movie.

Nice hidden treasure in East Carrollton. $10 tickets were a bit steep for weeday matinee show, but I was the only one in the theater so I wont complain. I enjoyed the show, and the tea from the concession stand however the chicken puff and egg puff that I had were really old (had to rush home to the throne if you get the gist)

Pathetic experience with this place today.We went to watch movie -Gully boy for the first time at this place.Advertisement was completely fake that they have recliner seats but actually they have kept fake recliner seats.Other thing was at the start of movie they forgot to turn the lights off of theater and somebody has to go to them personally to ask to turn off the lights.It was so irresponsible of them.Sound system is very cheap and terrible. Best theatre in Dallas to watch all Indian movies

Amazing experience here, This place exempts an aspect of desi very well especially through the food they serve. The quality of movies here is very good, And to mention most, The customer service is amazing here. Me and my friends had bought a ticket from groupon, and it turned out to be a wrong show. The guy at the counter said we could go in if we paid the difference. And even though we were indecisive he was very patient. Love this place, would come again!

Worst experience I have faced here. I went here to watch Ranarangam movie last night with my mom. There was no Air condition in the hall and there were also mosquitoes byting all along the movie.Terrible experience I have faced here I will never recommend this place fun movie grill to any one.

This place could use a few updates. I went to see the Avengers and there were spots on the stairs where metal was sticking out of the floor. I went a few weeks prior to this and that theater was fine.

I normally go this place to watch Bollywood movie. Specially in my last visit to watch Dreamgirl the theatre sound was subpar as i could hear some loud Ac noise or may something else from ceiling .I goto theatre expecting marvelous picture and sound quality that give that ultimate cinema experience, which was lacking in this place.Also i find this place little spooky due to old corridors and nominal crowd there .

This theatre is not your cliche theatre. It was very vintage. It needed just a few renovations to make it look a less beat up like maybe new floors and a bathroom remodel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The seats were very comfy and the aisles were very wide and spacious. The food was delicious. They did not have your typical theatre food. The Somosas as were delicious. They seemed a little understaffed but they were not extremely busy and it is not a very large theatre so the service was good. They have a bar and serve alcoholic drinks. Overall I liked the feel of the place and the atmosphere.

So i bought a voucher online (groupon)for a movie for 6$...which was a discount from 10$ only to find out the movies are only $4.30 when i got there....and of course they wouldnt give me a credit back..then i get in the movie 3 minutes late and its already on, but its the ending. I sat thru at least 15mins confused until The End popped up. Certain parts of the movie you can tell was cut off because the screen framing was off...Im really disappointed.. not worth the time or money..

The experience watching a movie here was not great and at the same time not too bad as well. It was ok. If i have choice to pick another movie theater i would pick different one not this. Its was the first movie i have been to this theater. Little far from where i live. If i go back to theater the answer is i didnt have other options. Also they need to hire more people at the concession stand. Long lines are just inconvenience to the customers and will miss the movie waiting in the lines.

Really awful customer service and very unethical conduct. They refused to accept a movie reservation via Groupon but still advertise that they will accept these for any Bollywood movie. I will NEVER come back even if that means paying the same exact price (or even a greater price) at a decently-run and ethically-upright American business such as AMC Stonebriar, AMC Grapevine Mills, or Cinemark West Plano (look up these theatres to find a better venue). I really wanted to like the re-branding of this theatre, but it seems that management wants to trick customers and milk out every dollar. Remove your ads from Groupon if you dont want the customer traffic into your theatres!

I can’t believe a desi theatre could have such elegant and royal character! The theatre, or I should say cinema is a part of the fun Asia group, and the fun starts right when you enter the cinema, it’s very unlike the regular chain movie cinemas. You can’t help yourself admiring this place. It boasts a bit of Vatican style.In the hall, screens are huge, sound systems is amazing and seating is exceptionally comfortable. Good Job Management.

It maintained low profile in the initial days and now slowly gaining momentum in and around Carrollton area. They improvised the seating, but screen size, clarity, and sound system could be made better. They also tied up with Atom for ticket purchase and seat reservation.The theater also starts offering monthly membership, for $19.99 a month .one can watch 12 movies with that plan.Pros : Its for Desi to watch and enjoy movies of your favorite Indian stars.Cons : Its way behind nearing AMC or Cinemark, snacks ranges is limited, screen clarify and sound systemOverall : I would recommend this theater to watch regional movies which are not running anywhere else in TX.

I went here when they first opened up and it was amazing and it was always packed. Now, Im assuming new management....there is no one there (which I think is a perk) but thats about it. The seats are decent but its HOT. Service sucks. I would go somewhere else.

A great theater that takes you back to a time when AMC and Cinemark didnt control everything. Affordable tickets, good food selection, great matinees, and they show movies from places other than hollywood.

Went to see Aquaman here with my wife last night. Had to stand in line a while to order food. Almost all of the menu items were made with curry. Ok if you like curry. Food handling was questionable. We got the bottomless popcorn for $7.99. It was burnt. Went to get a refill, had to be made. Asked for a blue moon, they were out. Seats were comfortable and the movie was great.

Been to a lot of movie theaters here in Dallas, in a search to find the best one. My first experience with this location was not the best. The movie should be started from 7 but we waited for 30 min. Are you kidding me!!! Horrible customer service. Sorry, to say but staff here are not friendly and they dont even listen to customer demand...

This theater was the oddest theater I’ve ever been to. It had outdoor furniture inside, the staff was friendly yet didn’t know what they were doing at the same time. The movie we saw was awful color balance, enough to say something to the staff but it was never adjusted. Theater 4, things that were supposed to be red in color were brown, etc. I will never return to this place or recommend it. It was trying to be a theater and failed miserably.

4 if us went Saturday to see Hobbs and Shaw. 1st time there. Needs some modern updates but overall the staff was wonderful and we definitely enjoyed the movie

So I went to a Red Carpet event. I almost sat on a razor blade waiting for my husband outside the restroom. We ordered 2 drinks that amounted to $27 and they were so watered down not to mention an incorrect order.

The theatre has a foul smell everywhere. Recliner Seats are comfortable and have enough cushion.
