Really great night! Had the salmon with veggies and my buddy had the mac and cheese. Food came out hot and man, the salmon was cooked to perfection.Our server was really nice and attentive! Drinks were great too! Good place for groups and watching the games!

Some menu changes are not that great (missing the Mac and Cheese/Sausage appitizer and pretzel sticks over the pretzel balls) but overall; wonderful staff, great beer selection, tasty food, and nice set up (even with everything they have to juggle on COVID)

Besides the 4% COVID Fee they are charging, everything was great! Very fast and friendly service even with all the mask requirements going on right now. Cheesesteak was awesome and the Mac n Cheese was a big hit with the biggest kid in the group (me)!

This place would easily earn five stars if their prices werent so high. The food we tried was amazing. Especially the cauliflower and brussel sprouts. The pepper steak salad was good but the salad lacked in any flavor, but The steak was delicious. They need to at least lightly dress the lettuce or bring you some dressing to put on it. Also the lettuce was all soft lettuces which was not hardy enough for the steak. $8 for a short Vodka soda is just ridiculous. We ordered three well drinks and one beer and it was $30. Even so, we will be back for the brussel sprouts and the cauliflower they were amazing!

The food was cold. the menu seemed exciting and the portions were plenty.The service is beyond poor. I asked to be seated near a tv and was willing to wait for a table to open up. They gave those tables to other couples after us and They sat me as far as I could be from the tv, I was there to watch a game. We couldnt get our servers attention we watched him talk to another table for about 30 mins and asked multiple times for the check to multiple staff before getting his attention. Good beer list is all Im willing to give this place.

The food was really good here. This was my first time here. The one thing I loved about this place was the house made ketchup. It is garlicky but thats was I like about it. Our server was great as well. He was so friendly. My husband had a beer here and he loved the choose the server recommended. I totally recommend this place.

Fantastic. Went in on. Wednesday about 5pm. Happy hour! 5 dollar appetizers with vegan and gluten free options. Over 100 beers on tap. We came in and sat down at the bar. Greeted by a friendly bartender promptly delivering drinks and food.

Hey, I liked the business before.You guys gutted it an threw lots of TVs.I tried that South of Vienna, 30 mins.We had a marionette show in the playground. We bled Red and had thieves from within.... not a fun lesson to learn...We are whole after 6-18 yrs. of litigation.Point being, it works for COVID-19 but you run a previous SOLD OUT place.

Draft Republic often surprises me with great beers. Their food is decent too. I usually go to the La Jolla location, but this was my first time here at the Carlsbad location. It definitely did not disappoint. My default order is skirt steak or seared tuna. I like coming here for work meetings or socials.

I really enjoy the experience here. I came here yesterday with our group of friends and we grabbed a couple of beers. The prices are on par with what you would expect. The thing that really stands out is the service theyre good.

Great place to watch sports in the new normal

Found this place on Google Maps while looking for a place to dine after our visit to LEGOLAND. Nice offering of taps + good pub food AND Social Hours (a.k.a. Happy Hours) is already a good start. Echoing sentiment from other reviewers, the food service was FAST!!(Taking one star off for a very sorry piece of cornbread that came with the ribs. Tasted dry and crumbly, and like it came out of the fridge and had not came up to room temperature.)There are games like foos table and shuffle board to entertain our little one. Fantastic!To conclude our visit, this has gotta to be the record speed for us to get the check and finish paying. :-) Kudos to the staff for a wonderful experience.

Very good sports bar vibe and family friendly. Good food, good service and reasonable prices although I dont completely agree with the 4% surcharge. They say its to help keep with the increased costs, its just I dont like to be charge directly for something extra you didnt ask for or knew about it. Overall its a good place to go with kids or friends and enjoy american food.

The atmosphere is great! The tables are set up for either community sharing or if you have a large group! There are TVs in every view site, and their beer selection is out of this world! If youre looking for a good time, good food and even better beer come here!

This place is awesome. Food is the best. I wished I would have taken a picture of our food. My 13 yr old daughter had the strawberry chicken salad and she ate it all never has she done that. I had the smoked pastrami sandwich and all I can say is wow. I will be back.

I’m becoming a regular visitor to Carlsbad and have been bowled over by the craft beer movement in Southern California. Draft Republic stands out as one of the best with 105 (yes one hundred and five) beers on-tap and staff who’ll help you navigate the daunting choice on hand. I’d struggle to find that many across the whole of Sydney, let alone the variety and quality. Food and atmosphere are great too. Well worth a visit or three.

Great food, service, drinks and convenient access. Enter the parking lot from the south end, near Miguels, because the snake of cars waiting in line at In -n-Out, blocksthe entire parking lots north end and driveway.

Good beer, great food. The quantity of food is also very good so it’s great value for money. I was able to swap out beef for chicken from any sandwich. Employees were polite and service was good.

This place has amazing food!!! I came here with a group from work about 20 of us. They sat us outside it was really nice they have big heaters. This place has a lot of TVs so if you want to watch sports this is your place. Service was outstanding even for a busy Friday night. I ordered the Parmesan Herb Fries to start with good stuff. Then as my entree I ordered The Heart Stopper burger! It was so tasty and fulfilling!! Also tried the mac and cheese so good with the bacon in it and a sasuge on top!

Awesome restaurant with huge beer selection and great food/service.

The kid ordered grilled cheese with plain fries (not the parm herb style that it comes with). The food is great. Presentation is cute with fries in their own metal fry basket. The child complained...my grilled cheese has too much gooey cheese. Ridiculous. Thats a glowing review of how good, gooey and indulgent this meal is. Plenty of fun video games, some even free like ping pong, fusball, and shuffle board. Sports everywhere you look. Massive beer menu with niche beers rotating on their $4 menu. Fun finds there. Its a little loud, but a price Ill happily pay because the kids are entertained and I can enjoy another beer.

Went to Draft Republic for a happy hour with friends from work. I liked the large selection of draft beers and went old fashion with a Hefeweizen. I enjoyed the beer and the company of course.We had a mix of different appetizers which were mostly good and flavorful. The service was decent, at times far and attentive and at other times not so much.Overall this is a good place for a happy hour. I was here a while ago for dinner and the dinner food was not impressive. It was decent, but not that good that I would come here frequently for dinner.

So many draft selection I dont even know where to begin, they even had cider and some hard kombucha on tap. That food is great as well. Enjoyed the pretzel bites and burgers.

The food was good and the service was good...My issue with this establishment is that they add a 4% surcharge to the bill that does not go to the staff. But, instead the 4% goes to the business and we the customers continue to pay their staff thru tips... This is absurd... If you cant pay your staff a decent wage from the profit of your already not inexpensive food and drinks, then dont open a restaurant.

First time at this place. Super clean, great view of sports events everywhere. Also the biggest tv I have ever seen.Had a burger and it was delicious. Beer selection is way above standard. Wait staff was super friendly and polite.

Get their Draft burger, chefs special with the bacon and thousand island sauce. It comes with delicious salad and fries. Dip their fries with their homemade garlic ketchup. So delicious. Great draft beer menu too. One thing is the place is extremely busy and loud, so if you’re looking for a good date spot probably not it. But good for happy hour and groups gathering.

Not a brewery as I first assumed (didnt do any research before attending a friends farewell dinner). Theyve got a ton of taps (over 100), so youll be sure to find something you like. They also have a full bar and tons of delicious food.

Been here a couple of times as well as the other location.We dined here on Halloween night and glad it was not busy. The restaurant is huge with a lot of tables and TV screens to watch your favorite sporting event. 49ers were playing on the big screen. Really great sports bar in Carlsbad. They have so many tvs to watch all the games. The food was great and the portions are bigger than I expected, so be hungry. I really liked the house pickles on the pastrami sandwich. They have a large selection of beer and also have games for kids or yourself to play which makes it good for the whole family.

Great place, open, spacious, good service good food. We went at happy hour it was more then enough sizes. Chef hotdogs was plenty :-) beer also was great wide varieties, good luck choosing ;-) walked back to our hotel in a beautiful sunny Carlsbad afternoon.

Made for tourist gastropub with mediocre food. Their beer list is long, but boring. Beautiful facility. Good for kids. Try to arrive before 5:30 PM to take advantage of $2 off beers and food specials. Their 4% surcharge is completely bogus. Only a handful of restaurants in all of San Diego do this. Watch your check carefully. I was charged twice what I should have paid on a split check on 2/28/2019.

Loved the atmosphere and service at this restuarant with friendly staff and a daily happy hour ! We enjoyed the happy hour plates which was sausages, potatoes and red cabbage, Louisiana style ribs, corn bread with pickles while enjoying music and giant screen televisions. They even offer air ball game.

We went for an early NYE dinner & had a custom bourbon mule drink, Mac n cheese appetizer, & the bacon & blue cheese burger. They even custom made two kinds of honey mustard for me! My friend had a salad that she did not like very well & they took it off the tab - no questions asked. Many huge TVs to watch any kind of sport you want! Family friendly as well. Will definitely go back!

Great place to watch a football game. Or any game for that matter. Family/kid friendly too! Also, try the drink called the Mad Kiwi.

The first thing you notice is the TVs, it would be great to watch the Sunday game there but the restaurant is a typical bro and bacon type restaurant giving towards men and beer. They have a large selection of beer. The carne asada fries were kind of cold and nothing to write home about, the burger was okay in the fries could have been better. I will probably come back for the beer, the TV and some appetizers

Usually have good experiences here but it must have been a full moon or something. Server packed our food to go even though we were clearly eating there. Then no explanation for why it took so long to put the food on a plate so we could eat there. Our favorite dessert was lukewarm at best...was a disappointing night out.

Super helpful staff. I was especially thankful to the waitress, Brie, who made especially sure that the vegan meal was prepared appropriately. She also pointed out all available vegan options.

This was the Nashville fried hot chicken sandwich. I took the recommendation to have the hot sauce on the side from our server. It is incrediably hot but delicious. There are 2 fried chicken breast!Service was great and it is a big place. The beer selection was great. It seemed like there was over 40 different beers on tap.

Nice sports bar with fun games area and TVs everywhere. To loud for my liking but the food was good. I would want to come back again but not if I want to talk to anyone. We were sitting on the outer edge that opens up to the outside. This area we sat in was quiet compared to the rest. Everyone was still having to scream at each other to talk.

The BEST spot for tasting all sorts of beers, wines, ciders, meads and hard kombucha. Many choices support local breweries! No need to flag down the bartender because it’s all self serve. (There’s also non-alcoholic options like root beer, cold brew coffee, iced tea, and kombucha.)Another huge plus is that it’s an ideal place for groups because it’s easy to split the bill. Each person can hand their card to the host at entry, which will correspond with their individual purchases. Lots of outdoor and indoor seating, though the patio is sometimes reserved for large groups. Excellent spot to catch all the Sunday Football games on HD TVs. Always great music. This is also a stop on Carlsbad Food Tours so be sure to check out the menu!

Headed to Draft Republic recently to catch Game 7 of the NHL Finals. It seemed as if half the city had the same idea. Despite being crowded, this venue is a great place to watch a game, especially if the entire place is doing the same. Great beer selection followed by an equally great food selection and just the atmosphere of the venue provides everything you need for a work gathering, watching a sporting event, or just a meal with the family. The staff was also very friendly even with the high tempo of the evening. Looking forward to the next time I stop by!

I love the atmosphere here. The staff is fabulous. The food...... Well, it could be better. There are only a few select things on the menu that actually taste good. Most things are spicy. The food descriptions start off good but then they add a topping or a few ingredients that dont really go well together and it ruins it. Everything on the menu is very expensive. Kids meals are 9 and 10 dollars. This place has so much potential. A few more menu items and better prices would be their saving grace.

Fun place for family friends and children. There are all type of games to play along with tons of beer on tap. Menu is better than I’ve seen at other establishments like this but still it is definitely a place your coming to for a beer and fun time. We will definitely be back.

Draft Republic is the fun place to watch a game and get some good food! The appetizers are good enough to be your main course. The ribs and coconut shrimp are a great start and the burger that I ordered were delicious! The restaurant is spacious and clean with lots of TVs no matter which direction you are facing. I am giving four stars because I thought that the merlot that I ordered was a poor choice of brands, almost an after thought.

More than just bar food with an amazing selection of beers. Can get noisy but that is expected. Great number of games on the big screen tvs. Fun place. They have mixed drinks and wine as well.

Slow, unattentive service. Love the CRG, but we are 0 for 5 visiting this location. The first 3 beers we tried were all flat, as was the Diet Coke for one guest.. Food arrived cold and not as ordered. The bartender went to the other end of the bar and we could not get her attention to fix the errors. Finally I flagged down a server to get her to respond. She did, with her index finger...meaning just a sec. It was 5 more minutes AND now 10 since she dropped our already cold, wrong food. Walked out last week after sitting at the bar while a different bartender chatted endlessly. There were two other parties with menus, no cocktails yet and obviously waiting to order. Never even was greeted....last time we will endeavor to have a good experience here.

Nice place, fast service, good food. Had the veggie burger which was made with a falafel patty and had a nice Greek sauce. Really good. Their beer selection is through the roof, really really good choices. They also have good happy hour pricing.

They seem to focus on locals as well, including in their liquor, not just draft beers.Food was solid, and everyone seems to enjoy themselves. Second time coming here. The first time was great and so was the second. If you enjoy beer, youll love the variety they have on tap. I prefer mixed drinks and was not disappointed by the drinks I had. They do not have a menu for mixed drinks so ask for your favorite drink and more than likely theyll be able to whip it up. The food was great. My first visit here, my friend and I split a couple of appetizers. The portions were huge and perfect for sharing. Second visit, I ordered off the dinner menu. They did not disappoint. My waiter was awesome and a great sport as we made jokes at the random pile of lettuce that was called a side salad and served with a burger. Overall was a great experience both times. Parking is a bit hectic and if you are on a timeline, come early so you have time to look for a spot.
