Relaxed hike, can easily walk up and down a dormant volcano in a couple hours from the parking lot on College and Carlsbad Village Dr. Refreshing way to spend a free afternoon on north SD County!

Great trails for different levels of hikers. Dog friendly, has waste stations frequently. There was a restroom at tge beginning of the trail we used, it was clean and well maintained. We took small children and they were able to make it to the top with some ease, using easier trails.

Good for inexperienced hikers.
