Legoland during this time is closed because of the pandemic, but the SeaLife Aquarium is open and only 10 bucks per adult and child! Need to reserve tickets though. This aquarium is fun and very well worth the money. During this pandemic, there are many changes . Masks are required at all times, theres no staff around during the walk through the aquarium, some of the aquatic creatures are not available to see and social distancing is also mandatory. So basically it felt like a private tour. It was very clean, well maintained and there was plenty of hand sanitizer offered. This aquarium is 2 story and has plenty of things to see! Definitely fun for the whole family!
They have a small parking lot now! awesome! This is a small place but it is very noticeable that they love the animals and really care for them. Love coming here! Great for kids and a family stop.
My kids loved the Lego displays in the aquarium. The Aquarium is small. We tried to take it slow and even then, it only took an hour to go through everything. It is a fun atmosphere though.
Lego themed aquarium. Really fun for kids 5- 11. Older kids may not enjoy everything. There is a cafe with beer, wine, sandwiches, burgers, fresh made to order mac and cheese with outdoor seating. It felt relaxed. It was informative, especially about trash in our oceans. Small petting area was nice. Safe and clean.
We are disappointed in the customer service for Sea Life Aquarium. We are staying at the Legoland Hotel and excited to help support businesses during this time. We asked to move our reservation date and the customer staffer was rude and unwavering on their policy. We will not come back to the hotel or the aquarium. As a parent of 3, I am looking for businesses that want our business and are flexible as we navigate these strange times.
We made reservations to go, and everything was very well sanitized and clean. There were sanitizing stations every few feet, and stickers on the floor to designate 6 feet apart. Our family had a great time visiting, 13/10 would do this again.
Enjoyed our visit. Social distancing was great because you have to reserve your ticket ahead of time. Lots of hand sanitizer stations. The only drawback was they dont have any wheelchairs or strollers available due to the rest of Legoland being closed right now.Ruth
Our 3 years old loved it. Plenty of sea life to see, we loved the sharks and stingrays.
The Aquarium was a nice attraction to visit. I pleased with the layout of the place also, they put a lot of detail in to the design and information.
Sealife Aquarium Is The Best Lego Themed Aquarium There are Brick Built Structures Inside of the Aquarium And Also Real Breathing SeaLife Aquatic Creatures
Everything is awesome, everything is cool when youre part of a team..Everything is awesome, when youre living out a dream
Update: 7/2/2020 We have gone twice since the reopening during COVID. I have to say I am greatly impressed with the measures they have taken to make sure there is social distancing and cleanliness. There are constant reminders throughout the aquarium to maintain social distancing. There are many hand sanitizers throughout the aquarium. They also have staff constantly wiping things down.We love this aquarium! It never disappoints. I suggest that if you go to Legoland for the day make sure to get the Sea Life Aquarium added to your ticket. It is definitely worth going to. They have a touch pond. There are many things to see within the aquarium. They also have a little restaurant on the second floor. You can go back and forth between Legoland and the Aquarium, thats if you have it to your ticket.
Its a nice addition to Lego-land, but I found it to be less impressive than the Sea Life aquarium in Tempe, AZ and it doesnt come close to the scale of the Long Beach Aquarium. There is the added fun that they put lego figures in the tanks with the sea life. It took about an hour or less to walk through.
Wouldve been great if we couldve participated in the touch tank but it wasnt wheelchair accessible
Ive been bringing my kids here ever since it opened and it continues to improve more and more each year. The staff are friendly and very patient when explaining the sea creatures. This past year, the aquarium has bred over 5,201 species of marine life! Simply amazing. I look forward to supporting this aquarium for many years.
Did not expect this with our Legoland pass but was pleasantly surprised! Lots of different fish, jellyfish, sharks to see and interactive exhibits for all ages!! Started off with a great video on protecting sea life and oceans, followed by a slide for the kiddos over fish tanks! Really enjoyed the jellyfish exhibit and the feel the sea area. I would definitely check this out!!
Over 16 million visitors have walked through here over the last year getting to experience this special gem of a place that helps our sea life and oceans! I was excited to witness this amazing aquarium filled with fascinating facts and beautiful creatures. We all learned a lot just walking through and participating in the dive stations and activities. They even have a petting pool to touch star fish and other cool animals. This is a very interesting and fun place to go with anyone of any age!
Great little aquarium. Can fit in in a day at legoland. Good learning experience for kids. Interactive as well as they have lots of tunnels and bubbles for kids to get right into it.
Our first time here and we really enjoyed our time there. Of course we took our grandkids to Legoland first and if you pay a nominal fee you can get in this place. Its small but very well presented and it keeps your interest. Theres a food place on the second floor and its a place to relax as well. Its worth the price and your time. Check it out
Beautiful aquarium with interesting rooms with effects. Theres also a scavenger hunt that gives you a prize at the end.(spoiler alert- its a paper hat) but this place is very fun for the entire family and theres a gift shop at the end of the experience. I got in free admission but if you like aquariums I would recommend it even though most people choose the water park. You can also take your time so dont rush through or youll miss some things and theyll be no point in going(message to my family).
Absolutely loved it if you do anything a Legoland or Legoland hotel make sure to go to the aquarium because it is awesome
Pre-teens will enjoy! Must buy presale. Free parking...
Its the only attraction opened at this time. They keep you safe by observing social distancing rules and masking rules. Its a great activities for the kiddos.
Great addition to the legoland experience! Very educational and the two times we went, there were no lines! You can actually pet a star fish. Geared toward kids but interesting for adults as well. Theres also a nice cafeteria at the end.
This is a great place to escape the sun while at Lego Land.
Pretty nice aquarium. Some of the exhibits were empty, but decent enough content to keep kids busy and entertained.
Beautiful aquatic life displays from freshwater local fish to ocean life that is geared toward kids and families, but open to any age. I found it very educational. We liked the touch pools and the outdoor Colorado River water play experience very much. Aquarists are friendly and helpful. The play structure at end has recently been replaced; my kids enjoyed it.
I went here on a trip with my family. My son hes 8 he had so much fun! We had a hopper pass for Legoland so we went here and to the park as well. It was such a fun aquarium had lots to see and look at. There was also a part where you could touch starfish and enminanes. It was a fun experience I really enjoyed it so did my family!
Sea life was awesome before you go to legoland you need to start here this place is huge there is 2 stories in the building and a restaurant you and your little kid or older will love it so much.
Great adventure in addition to visiting Legoland. The touch pool was great for kids ages 3 and 4.
We were able to get a reservation and enjoy the fish and even APPRECIATE them more then b4.....the fact that gaps are in place to ensure social distancing and i counted over 7 sanitization stations and clever stickers on the glass to discourage touching and in one instance they refered to the sea animals as practicing social distancing themselves. All in all it was a great hour and 5 hours later theyre still talkin bout it. Thanks LEGOLAND AQUARIUM. We cant wait to go back inside the clean repainted theme park.
Our son loved this. Amazing
Very educational! Im glad my son learned about conservation and protection of all sea creatures and plants. Will definitely return.
Super cool place for the kids. Interactive and raising awareness to children. Very cool
This aquarium is fun for the kids because they collect stamps and turn it in for a fun paper hat at the end. It is very small however. We went through it in about half an hour. They do have interactive screens and a sea creature petting area.
Had a great time! The staff did a wonderful job following social distance guidelines.
Loved it. My kids had a blast.
Not too big, but they have cool aquariums you can stick your head in to be part of the sea life. Love the interaction with the ocean. The kids enjoyed finding all the stamps for their books.
The Sea Life Aquarium I have to say was my favorite part of Legoland. They offer this sagvenger hunt game to keep the kids interested. There is this awesome tunnel walk through with sharks and rays. There this whole section of different types of jellyfish. The whole theme was how to conserve, protect and information about our ocean and the life in it. The kids got a kick out of Lego characters in the water or through out the area.
We love Sealife Aquarium!! The Jellies are beautiful. There is a fun stamp collection the kids can do as they learn about sealife and much more.. they can turn it in at the end for a fun surprise.Plenty to do for all ages and wheel chair accessible with elevators.Re entry to Legoland Park is easy and private side entrance. There are so many things to see and you can get hands on at the touch pond too!Yay for the Aquarium!
Fun and so worth the price
What a great experience for me and the family. I went into the aquarium not really I owing what to expect but left feeling like a kid again. My son absolutely loved the ticket card that he could take to get punched at various stations and my wife loved the viewing areas where you can stick your head in for a 360 degree view. We cannot recommend this place enough.
Sealife aquarium was awesome. with Covid still here, they took all the right precautions to keep us safe.
Great place to take the kids to learn fun facts about local sea life. If you are lucky enough, you may get to see the feeding of various abimals.
I had a fun experience. I did a quick run thru here as part of our legoland exprience. The way they intertwine lego themes and aquatic life is unique. They show you stats about their aquatic contributions to saving animals and reintroducing animals. They took a page from the aquarium of the pacific with their stamps. Nice
I LOVED this Aquarium. Its pretty straightforward and tou cant get lost or have to back track to look at things. It has 2 stories with a a cafe area the end. My toddler loved that HUGE tank in the middle because there were so many places to look at it and especially when you went upstairs and looked down. I am coming back to visit this when I visit Legoland again. Only negative thing is that if you enter through the park you exit outside of the park and have to go back and get your things.
This was fun a great day out. Closing again on the Monday after the 4th
Absolutely loved this experience lots of beautiful sea creatures and interesting informative facts about them.
Awesome Lego themed aquarium educating the public about marine biology and environmental issues. Friendly staff and well maintained, this venue caters very well to the young audience and is well worth a visit.
It was clean and we had fun
8 year loved this, great to get out of the sun. Loads of info!
This was the perfect size Aquarium for my toddlers, it didn’t take too long and was worth the money
Great place to bring kids. My children have a great time at Sea Life. It well worth the additional money. Very educational and very fun for children and grow up exploring.
Definitely aimed towards children but i found myself lost in the Mini USA lego scenes! Cant wait to tell all my friends what they missed out on
Our family had fun. Lots of educational things! Staff was great! Smiles all the way around!!
Very small, nice design, but left much to be desired for an aquarium. Still true to the Legoland theme they had many cool Lego art pieces both inside and out of the tanks
Kids can learn about sealife in a not so overwhelming way.
We were glad to cool down here after the Legoland park heat and crazyness. Small aquarium, but a neat one.
This place was a great time. We were able to get it as an add on during the Black Friday ticket sale. The kids had a blast walking around doing the scavenger hunt. So much fun
My kid really enjoy this place. It is a great extension to Legoland. I like that they have hint where you get a prize at the end, which was better prize though. lots to discover inside the aquarium and lots of interesting things to see.
I have had opportunity to visit numerous aquariums but I must say that this was one of the best experiences Ive had in a long time. While small, the displays are well organized and the marine life is easy to see. The passport program encourages children to look for the next station needed to stamp their passport and moves them forward to the next exhibit. I have not seen technology used in an aquarium before. The touchscreens allowed my grandchildren ages 10, 6, and 4 to delve deeper and learn more than what their eyes alone could show them. Overall, this was a wonderful experience.
It is a nice little aquarium with a small tidepool part way through the tour. Tour ends upstairs at their cageteria and leaving the aquarium takes you out of Legoland. Aquarium entrance fee is separate from Legoland. Having the Merlin Pass or Park Pass allows access to the aquarium as well.
A great place to spend an hour with the family. Staff was very friendly
Great place for everyone. I also enjoyed as much as my kids.
Decent for what it is. We breezed through it quickly and a good way for the kids to wind down exiting Legoland. AC was needed and the new VR experience was sweet which the kids loved as well as the sharks and rays etc
It was fun for the kids the little marine ride was interesting overall good for younger kids
Lots of fun. So glad its now open.
This was very educational, and the areas for the fish to swim was big!! You can fell they are very well taken care of!! Love how the have the LEGO people in the water too lol.
Loved it was a great small place but worth it!
Fun adventure. Short and sweet
We went here because we were staying at the Legoland hotel and the park was closed. It was good for kids and alright for adults. It took about an hour and a half. Its comparable to other medium/smaller aquariums. Definitely a good experience.
I went here when I was ten I remember a tiger shark got out of its tank and so does my family.... I want to see if anyone else remembered this also I was like ten and now Im 19 its been awhileOther than needed to know that my childhood isnt a lie and I saw a shark out of water, the park was amazing still have great memories and might even go again sometime I would highly recommend it
Fun for the kids, and exciting. You can go through the whole place in 30 minutes. The kids enjoyed all the displays with fish and the slide inside.
Loved this educational sea life aquarium. Beautifully created for young and old. Perfect for very young children as well.
Fu. & cool. Do it before the park when you arrive & remember to stamp your Dive Card for a gift at the gift shop.
We loved sea life aquarium. My daughters had a lot of fun finding the clues and getting the stamps.
Love. Love. Love it! Beautiful aquarium with tons of fishes to see and learn! My kids loved it and we plan on coming back soon!
I love this aquarium. Every aquarium should have a slide over the fish like this one. This aquarium get kids really engaged.
Loved the aquarium lots of different fish some of Lego figures with them my favorite jellyfish & seahorses
This is a total fraud. There are almost no fish. there are very few fish tanks and most of them are empty. I bought the ticket with the city pass that claimed to spend a day at the aquarium. and going even slow with my little ones it took only 1:20. It is not worth it to go back to lego just for the aquarium and pay again for 25 dollars of parking or worse to pay for one more hotel night just to see the aquarium
While smaller, this is well done and worth a trip. The new bioluminescent exhibit is cool! My favorite room is always the jellyfish.
We had fun visiting at the end of our Legoland day. It is a fun aquarium with smaller tanks and geared towards younger children. I dont think it would have been worth the 25.00 price tag but was nice with the upgrade on our Legoland ticket because we bought a package through Costco. We did the whole aquarium in about 45 minutes.
Nice aquarium, although the day we were there, they werent allowing strollers in, which meant leaving our stroller outside, and carrying a sleeping child thru the whole thing. You then exit OUTSIDE of the park, and have to send someone back in to retrieve the stroller. Poor set up.
Our family enjoyed strolling through on a rainy San Diego day. It was a good visit and we were glad the we had a two-day hopper pass that gave us access to Sea Life Aquarium and LEGOLAND. But we wouldn’t choose to head the this aquarium on a sunny day or to add additional costs onto our LEGOLAND ticket to do so.
The walk-under tunnel is pretty cool. You can see the fish above you as you pass under. Only downside is that the aquarium does not take very much time to see everything.
Beautiful displays. Place and fish seem very well taken care of. Lots to see, and theres an activity brochure you must stamp at each Dive station at the end you give a staff member the log book to receive a fun prize.
Longer than I expected, a real treat, with lots of great information and colorful displays.
Great place for the kids. They really enjoyed watching the sharks. They also liked the jellyfish. Everything was clean, staff was friendly, and I really liked that they staggered entry into the venue. It made it a more enjoyable experience for everyone.
We werent expecting much but as we got further in it got better it was free aith our admission.
Its beautiful and clean ans super kid friendly. If it only werent so far from me i would go at least 1 every 3 months.
Very cute little aquarium. I especially liked the Finding Nemo tank. There is a scavenger hunt for kids to play while going through which was a nice little bonus activity.
Huge family place educationalAnd perfect to teach the children about life sea..learn how to helpTo clean the planet.
Not the most expensive aquarium you can find. Nicety themed around the Lego Park, however the information panels etc are not easy to locate so therefore it is not easy to get detailed information on the fish available in the aquariums. Theres a touching pool where you can touch starfish and see abalone. A nice experience for a first time aquarium goer.
Great time with the family
If you have a combo pass, it is worth a walk through. I wouldnt buy a ticket just for it though.
