Pretty cool place to visit. If you did visit this section of the park and want to get some fishing in then I would say to have some good rubber boots because the muck that you have to cross to get to the water is pretty nasty a lot of flies. However if you dont mind it you can wait on through it thats up to you. The post that I saw online for this park made me think that there was a small Beach area to be able to walk the coastline but when we got there there was not. Possibly we were there when high tide was in and thats the reason for that but Im not sure.
I didnt know this place existed! Very beautiful. It looks really healthy and I saw a ton of different wildflowers, birds, and a gopher tortoise as well. The trail isnt too long and it ends at the water with a bench surrounded with seagrape and mangrove trees to watch the sunset. The start of the trail has a small parking lot, trashcan, map, and some information about the trail. I will definitely come back!
Nicely maintained clean trail that leads out to the bay/ocean through mangroves at the end. So many fiddler crabs and mangrove crabs and fish! Had a great time exploring with my 6 year old son!
This place is pretty neat. Would be better during the dry season. Looks like a great spot to wade fish.
There were way to many mosquitoes and it wasnt very scenic until the end. Then there was a pretty water view.
Too swamped today!
A great place to bring your fur baby
Its so pretty but watch for bug ( HUGE horse flies mainly)
Ive been loving this park since 1995 and I still havent seen all of it!
Great place to walk in nature. I would recommend bug spray as mosquitos are thriving.
Great get away spot for everybody
