Super helpful!
Fields are horrible no exception or excuse for a country that is in the top ten in wealth have such bad conditions. Some of the holes can cause an ankle to be torn or broken grass is dry and the fields are not level the drainage is horrible lets see what happens since we voted to have more funds go in parks. Fertilizer and miracle grow is not worth $20mil plus.
Unfortunately they don’t care about kids at the competitive level. Parents on the team were allowed far to much say on the team we were on, at times directing the team over the coaches and other parents. Parents and kids were attacked by coaches on their staff behind backs after rumors were found to be false.Certain coaches berate kids at every turn with a total lack of care or responsibility for their interactions with the kids. There are better options, don’t waste time with this club.
In response to Ken rob, ccsa is an excellent organization and I believe they are now the largest Youth Soccer Organization in the state and they do great things for our youth. I have coached my daughter in the rec soccer leagues for the last 4 years and Eddy does a phenomenal job and he is correct in saying he does not have time to manager players playing time or babysit coaches. With a limited budget and staff he does an awesome job, us coaches volunteer a lot of our time and are not compensated in any way we pay the full registration fees and everything else any other participant does. If you believe your child deserves more playing time or is not being coached up to his abilities you should look into the Cyclones, this is a competitive league where players earn their playing time. Or like Eddie said volunteer your time and coach then you can play your child as much as you would like.
Fields sucks big time. No organization at all, referees not qualify. Run out of this.
Beautiful park. Safe friendly people
This will be our third season, and we absolutely love it!! It is a very large association, so more lessons are learned than just basic soccer training. If you are looking for small teams, like the last reviewer was, this is not the association for you. But if you want your child to be apart of something that will teach them team work, and take them far... our found your soccer home!!
Great soccer field. Very clean. Good trainers.
I would recommend checking out other leagues that are more player friendly. This league is poorly managed and too large for them to make fair, Instead of making more teams so the kids get more playing time they place up to 18 kids on a team as the easy way out for them and the kids only guaranteed to play 50% of the game. The coaches will play the kids they know most of the game and leave other kids sitting, They also do not rotate the kids positions fairly and play their own kids and friends on offense even if they are not good there . This should not happen on a Rec league . They bill this as a Fun - Recreational league not competition so all kids should play equal time . I have been involved with Soccer for over 20 years as coach and parent with other areas of Fl and in other states and this is by far the worst one.I tried talking to the coaches (Charlie Berger and Brian) only asking to be fair but they refused and the Coach Charlie even walked away . The league director Eddie was even more uncaring and replied they dont have time to monitor playing time and kids only guaranteed50% of games. He said if wanted to be fair I should be a coach or go elsewhere. I felt he enjoys having some power in his life. This is supposed to be for the kids to learn and have fun and be treated equal .
