Really nice staff and really good prim rib that had no toughness to it and the price was really cheap, but the potatoes were instant so ask for fries instead. So two dinners 2 drinks a piece was under $30.00, I can honestly say that the prim rib was perfect and staff was just as good. So stop in and have a drink or meal or both

I would say this is a last resort type of place. The staff is nice but this place is SO SMOKEY that my eyes were burning and I swear I couldnt wash the smell out of my hair for 2 days.

My first visit here. The service was awesome. We ordered steak dinners and they were amazing, the cut of meat was good and cooked to perfection. The drinks were great mixture. Im sure well be back often. Thanks

YOU BETTER WATCH WHAT DOOR YOU USE TO ENTER THIS PLACE! I walk into the bar and the room abounds with stares. I had just gotten off work and was rocking my navy work polo and cargo shorts.This must have been far too formal attire for The “O”, because suddenly a chain-smoking middle-aged woman approaches me and says “What are you doing here?” I hesitate, having never received such a kind greeting on my way into a restaurant. “Uh, I’m just here to eat.”She proceeds to continue her darts game that I must have disrupted. Must be training for nationals, as she appeared to take her craft very seriously.To avoid more trouble, my partner and I proceeded to have a seat at the furthest table in the corner of the room. It was so dark that my blind partner had to use his phone to view the menu.“Only fried foods after 8pm,” said our waiter. No problem. We weren’t here to diet. We were here to gorge ourselves.After a bucket “O” beers, our wings and corn fritters were out and piping hot! I must say, the food was tasty, the sauces worked well. Try the wings both with breading and naked - you won’t be disappointed! I think we had some kind of mango seasoning. I don’t know, you can’t go wrong here. If you think otherwise, you take your high expectations somewhere else, city-slicker!!I don’t know what it was about The “O” that made me fall in love. Maybe it was the smoke filled room that reminded me that yes, in 2019, there are still some states that allow smoking in bars. Maybe it was the intensity with which the dart throwers worked on their craft. Or maybe it was just the country folk cussing loudly over lord knows what. I’m not sure. You’ll just have to find out for yourself.

You couldnt see anybody because the lights were out it was smokier than hell! We left before we could even try any food because we just couldnt stand the atmosphere!

Fun place to go, good drinks and good food, however it can be very smoky which is minus 1 star, but that is what they allow so no problems, just wish it was better vented. We enjoy it more when the doors are propped open. I also love that Betty seems out all types of texts showing upcoming events and special. Amanda is the best!

I love to sing karaoke is a passion of mine everybody is so friendly and nice to me however it is a smoking bar and I have a hard time breathing when Im in there

Absolutely love this place!!! Wings can be Naked or Breaded.....Sweet Chili sauce they have is DELICIOUS!!! Low lighting but works perfectly. More TV’s than you will ever need. Great pricing too and food is very well done!

Said they had vodka and squirt. Made vodka and 7up. Didnt know what squirt was after she gave a dirty look at us. Another time.... girl took my order. Forgot to get my beverage. And fork.

Food is good. Waitresses are nice, but they only had 2 that night I went so everything took forever. Smoking is allowed so I left with a massive headache. Live music was really good.

So, Ill start by saying, THIS IS NOT A FOOD REVIEW....I used to love this bar. Now, my days are numbered. Im only writing this post in the hopes that, MAYBE, POSSIBLY someone (ownership/management) that can change the direction of this sinking ship, does.THE OWNERSHIP; who used to be onsite daily/nightly, built the business up, and cared about their customers, IS GONE! Management, a revolving door (and very confusing), is laughable at best.Current state of business: Good people and staff by day, THUG crowd by night. After 9:00pm it becomes (once the coast is clear) BAD RAP music, that only the young staff plays and wants to hear, and HORRIBLE SERVICE. It seems to become the staffs (and their non-paying friends) personal playground, and its driving all of the (long time) good PAYING CUSTOMERS away.We; the mature and good PAYING/TIPPING customers will find a new place, without all the drama and arguments (with the staff), where we can (once again) enjoy our evenings.Well miss you O Bar!!

Best bar on the cape. Currently here enjoying $1 mimosas and bloody Marys and the ribs special- literally falling off the bone, so tender and only $5 with fries and beans! Every day is a new special. Chef Donny is so friendly and comes right out to the table, the girls are great at the bar. Locals rejoice, a nice hidden gem. :)

I use to visit her frequently and my last few visits were unpleasant the pace spoke for its self. I returned today solely to meet a friend for her birthday and am pleased to say that Shannon and Katy redeemed my faith in the O bar. Thank you !

Whilst it is a dive bar, we received excellent service with a smile and great bargains on food and drink. Join their VIP club and really save money! The band at the Grand opening was good. Really appreciate that this business employs real musicians not posers billing themselves as musicians and singing karaoke.

Heard it had great food, was very disappointed when I arrived. Before I opened the door I could smell the smoke. Once I opened the door the smoke was so bad it made my wife sick to her stomach. We didnt eat there so never got to try the food. Maybe take out would be a future option..........

Hardly any ventilation. One person starts smoking and the whole place fills. Way too many smokers to enjoy anything. No outside area either to get away from it. Think being in a car, all windows closed, 3 people smoking.

First time i ate here that it was bad. Prime rib so tuff that it was hard to cut. Push your fork in then cant get it out. We were members when it was a member club. We ordered ours rare, my husband was ordered rare, rare, some problem as me. Like trying to eat leather. No flavor like it use to be. Sorry but really bad. Put 100 dollars on card before we ate. I wish we would of waited to do that.

New managment pushed alot of the regular customers out by changing to much and becouse food doesnt taste the same and they are steadily weaning out the bartenders and cooks that have been there for years.Regulars want familiar faces not new faces

This is definitely a drinking bar. Friendly bartenders. Many TVS. A bit darker than I like. Other patrons said the food is good. If you want a night to party, this is a good place to be.

I dont know whats happend to this place but last night was the worst. 6 of us went for prime Rib plate came out one at a time at ten minutes apart my margarita had orange juice in it I ask why I was told it makes it top self??? All in all not a good night!!!

I am shocked and embarrassed that I took a friend to The O Bar tonight in Cape Coral. We are sitting having a drink eating a pizza listening to karaoke. Everyone is having a good time, when the DJ playing the music puts on a song for someone to sing..the song...White America....Really?? Is this a song to be sung in public for Karaoke purposes? We complained to the waitress who told us she had already told the manager she had people complaining. He didnt care, we paid our check and left. I am not one of the millenials or democrats. I am a middle aged adult that votes Republican. I am also a business owner in the Cape. I am completely shocked that someone that have as a manager would allow this song, and disrespect customers complaining about it. There are tons of Eminen songs that could have been sung. I would think a serious bar manager, and a professional DJ would know this is not a song that most of the public would want to hear sung for karaoke.
