Lots of amenities, the villas are fully stocked, with extras. Staff was very courteous and plenty of hand sanitizer all around the grounds.I would recommend some form of motion light or such on the ramp coming off the beach due to seeing many seniors and children stumble in the dark going down the ramp.Othereise a very nice visit.

Nice resort. Our first time here. Building one the units all have door s the open to an exterior walkway. There is good parking. Tow pools and a lazy river. There is no charge to play put put. Very nice gym. We walked to the beach. Nice walk way there. We had a two bedroom unit and it was big. Very nice. Washer and dryer in the unit. They have a small store with drinks, ice cream and items you may need. Bar and restaurant. Right now due to the virus the drinks are in plastic cups and your meal is in a to go box. But you can sit by the pool or inside to eat.

Can’t go wrong staying here. It has it all to please the entire family. The pool, lazy river and slide are fabulous. Having the beach access is also a major plus. Unless you go out because you’ve planned to visit any tourist spots you really don’t need to leave the hotel because you’ve got everything you need to have a great and fun vacation here. Poor staff attitude and high pressure sales tactics are not COVID related but a result of bad management. I hope that after my stay I can post a positive review.

Accommodations and cleanliness were spot on. Only disappointment was to arrive and then find out all amenities were closed, pool was only open from 10 -2 and 3 - 7. Restaurant not open and only had access to outdoor tiki bar from 11 - 6. While I completely understand and appreciate precautionary measures due to pandemic, it would have been nice to be told of closures when booking. Instead when I asked about amenities I was told they were open but had restrictions with number of people and times...never that they were closed . When we asked staff about amenities they were not very courteous. Large slide to pool for some reason is only open Thursday - Sunday and very limited hours, we arrived on Wednesday no slide, Thursday waited till 11:30 when it was supposed to open only to find out it was closed for maintenance...only found that out after asking front desk and those employees monitoring pool gate. We then decided to trolley out to beach only to find all chairs/lounges stacked and tied up so we couldn’t use. Again when I asked front desk they just said “The pool and lazy river are open”. We were there for 5 days and only had the pool. Definitely not what we anticipated when booking.

Spent 5 days celebrating our 25th anniversary at the Holiday Inn Club Vacation Resort. Covid precautions in place and at no time did we feel unsafe. Villa stay; King size bed, couch, small kitchen w/tiny refrigerator & microwave. Plenty of storage for luggage, coolers, groceries, etc. Huge bathtub for two, but not jacuzzi. Small shower. A large person would have trouble turning around, etc. Pools and hotubs were wonderful although we had plenty of rain that week, water temp decreased alot and was cool. Would be nice if they had solor heaters to warm the water when the water becomes cool. Quick walk to the ocean, they provide a tram to get you close to the boardwalk if you prefer so your walk is shorter to the water. We were able to view a movie in the small theater, reserved our seats in advance for limited guests, social distance seating and wearing a mask. Some activities cancelled due to Covid but overall, very nice and relaxing stay.

The property itself looks great, but it took over an hour to check in while waiting in the hot car. We arrived at 3 pm and requested early check in which was not available. We were told that our room (a 2 bedroom suite) would be available at 4 pm, so we continued to wait in our car. Unfortunately, our room was not ready until after 7pm! This delay cost us an entire day of our vacation.Additionally, both pools close at the same time in the afternoon for cleaning. This makes no sense. The pool closing times should be staggered to allow those coming back from the beach an area to cool off.

I had a 2 bedroom villa - 1 king & 2 double full. The king bed had a bathroom inside which was awesome. The other bath was right outside the 2 full bedroom. Included a kitchen w/ everything I needed as far as kitchen utensils. A major perk was a washer dryer combo and there was mini detergent . I was in the back of the resort but the parking was plentiful. My whole family loved it and we will be back! This place was super clean too!

The only thing I liked about the hotel was the bed was comfortable everything else was a complete dive from there. Not enough parking for the guest. I would not recommend this resort even if they paid for the entire stay.

We have been to this resort several times even when it was Ron Jon’s. The staff did a decent job of keeping things wiped down during our stay. Making reservations to use the pool is an interesting way to keep the capacity down. The slide did not start working until 5 days into our stay. The tram service took a long time to go from building to building and after waiting 11 minutes at the main entrance, I asked the front desk if they could contact the tram and she said “no I can’t. They don’t have walkie talkies”. I said they should and she just grunted and walked away. Finally, I got on the tram, and wouldn’t you know it, he was using his walkie talkie (!) to talk to the front desk about getting more sanitizing spray.

I have been here since ut was the Ron Jon Resort, but now I have traveled to many other Holiday Inn resorts. Vegas, Arizona, Orange Lakes. Out of all of them this place is the worst for relaxing. If you get within 2 feet of the pool with a drink they yell at you like a child. The other resorts serve you at the pool. I just sat here and watched a older guy in a orange put down a umbrella where people are sitting, they said that they were not done at the table. And his answer was the he decides when the umbrella gets put down, no wind or clouds, just someone with a chip on his shoulder. If you want to relax and enjoy yourself go to a different Holiday Inn Resort.

The week that our long-planned vacation was to begin, the Covid-19 outbreak started looking more concerning for our country. Nervous about boarding a cruise ship and considering canceling our vacation, we called this hotel to see what the penalties might be. It was a 100% loss, so we decided to still go. After a flight from Iowa to Florida, we took a pleasant Uber from the airport to our hotel for a 2-night stay prior to boarding a cruise with our two children. Our first 24 hours was a delight and we vowed to have this be our go-to hotel for future short weekend trips and cruise port pre-boarding stays. I did not like the uncomfortable pressure from the time-share desk....almost feeling like we were held hostage before being allowed to go to our room. After a long Iowa winter, a rough week of stress, tears, and confusion about if we should cancel our vacation, we just wanted sunshine, warmth, and some carefree fun. Once in our room, we were pleased to see it was spacious, clean, and comfortable for our family. The walk to the beach was nice, but we did take a very convenient trolley, at times. The pool was clean and we were almost the only people there. We enjoyed a decent dinner in the outdoor lounge area. Our sleep, both nights, were very comfortable and quiet. One thing that was frustrating was when we attempted, twice, to get food and other items from the little store next to the front desk and there was always only one staff, a line, and we ended up putting evreything back after waiting for a while and giving up. On the second afternoon, the president announced that cruise ships are recommended to stop operations and we got official notification from Carnival at 10:30pm that night. The next morning, with some devastated children, we were frantically trying to figure out how to change our flight and get home. Not able to change our flight until the next day, we scheduled another night with the hotel, but the price was so increased that we had to check out and go somewhere cheaper while we figured everything out. Even though the hotel was almost empty, they would not work with us to stay for a more reasonable price. We had to pack up and get transportation (expanded size due to all of our luggage) to go to a hotel about a mile away, just to sleep before flying out. This all added so much stress while this Covid-19 epidemic was exploding with panic and fear on all of the tvs. I was disapointed in IHG for how they handled this, and will take it into consideration in the future.

This Resort has it all for children, teens and adults with it huge pool complex that includes large pool, lazy river, 3 jacuzzi tubs wrapped into 1, thrill slide, boardwalk to Coca Beach (though I highly recommend getting into the car or walk further down beach for cleaner waters - not the resorts fault; though it might be because it is a cruise port), tiki bar, movie theater, large arcade room, mini golf, beautiful atmosphere, convenience store, 2 car free parking and it is a Coca Beachfront Resort (building 3) and besides building 1 is where everything is though so I actually like it because of that but building 2 has a pool there plus they are smack in the middle for both the beach and the pool complex! They also have a restaurant onsite that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Loved this Resort! Oh...if you are blessed enough like me, you will have a chance to see NASAs Rockets take off into outer space and you will not have to leave the Resort to do that - for me I got to see 2 Rockets take off in one Week!

Im an HVC owner this was my first time staying at the Cape Canaveral Resort. I have nothing but positive things to say about the location. We stayed in the main building in room 1417 to be precise. The large 2 bedroom unit was recently renovated, absolutely spotless, and overlooked the main pool. What I loved most about the property is the fact that I could very easily monitor my grandchildren from the balcony while they were in the pool. The property manager made it her business to come over and chat with me I found her to be very kind and her customer service to be outstanding. She apologized about the closure of the game room and water slide due to COVID and made sure to tell the kids that although the main pool closed at 7 pm they could always go over to the signature pool which closes at 10:00 pm that was awesome to learn because we were all bummed about the main pool closing so early. We were on the fifth floor with great views! The rooms were very comfortable. Three of the four had their own bathroom. The dining area was large enough for our entire crew. The living space was comfortable enough for everyone to spread out. The pictures I posted if the rooms do not do them justice. We normally stay at Orange Lake when we travel to Orlando, but we may have to start looking at Cape Canaveral instead. If your interested in getting the best bang for your buck, get something in building 2 or 3 (and on the highest floor possible). We had great views of the sunrise!

Please be informed, that Holiday Inn Club Vacations is another art of hotels and has nothing to do with Holiday Inn. Consequently the hotel has another rules and no recognition of IHG status. The hotel itself is really very nice for beach and pool holidays. If you are traveling with children, the hotel is definitely best choice in Cape Canaveral - here are a lot of attractions and facilities for children. In general I would recommend this hotel with following guidelines:- There is no room service during your stay. There is only a starter kit of toiletry and kitchen items available.- Please dont take a standard room, hence this room type has no window.- Please dont book a breakfast included, hence included breakfast is limited to egg meals only :-)

We stayed here prior to a cruise from Port Canaveral. We splurged and booked the 2 bedroom villa which was on the ocean however there is a bit of a separation between the beach rooms and the main hotel and facilities. It ended up not being a big deal as it was a short walk and they also have a shuttle running back and forth continuously. The room was very large. Way more than we needed for the two nights but was amazing. The balcony was big and a great place to sit and relax. Definitely perfect for large families and for a longer stay. The only thing I would mention is that our room was starting to show some ware. It wasn’t bad and we aren’t real critical but some people might be so I just thought I would mention it. The food and drinks were reasonably priced for a hotel/resort and we ended up eating there most of the time. We loved seeing the cruise ships pull in and out of port. Perfect for pre/post cruisers. It would’ve been nice if they include a breakfast buffet for every guest. Instead they only offered breakfast for 2 people in the form of a $50 voucher that barely covered the cost for two adults. We had a ground floor ocean front 2 bedroom room, which is about a 5 minute walk from the main property. Instead of hearing the waterfalls from the pool(also soothing) we woke to the sounds of the ocean waves every morning, and walked the beach under moonlight at night. Our balcony was a 5 yard walk to the private boardwalk that leads out to the beach. There is so much for kids to do on property...pool, lazy river, splash area, waterslide, playroom with climbing area and ping pong table, daily activities (mostly for a cost), basketball and tennis courts, put put, arcade, movie theater. For adults theres a hot tub, plenty of pool side seating and an outdoor/indoor grille/restaurant.The property is very easy to get to, and located close to restaurants at the port and a quick drive to downtown Cocoa Beach and all its restaurants and shops. The hotel provides both bath and pool towels, and start up toiletries and kitchen towels/soap. There are washer/dryers located in each room. Many grocery stores a short driving distance to fill your fully supply stocked kitchen. The only downside to the resort is all the various places you need to use your key card to get in and out of. We would return here annually if we could, and recommend it to anyone, family or couple, for a couple nights or a week.

This is a great hotel if you have kids! It has a lazy river pool and a separate large pool with a volleyball net. There’s a tram that can take you from the first building all the way to the beach and back again when you’re ready to depart. It also has a wonderful indoor play area for kids and putt putt around the property. The rooms have been renovated and they have done a great job giving them a fresh up-to-date look. The downfall is the lack of fresh made liquor drinks, like a margarita. It’s made of a pre-mixed drink and is not at all what you would expect from a beach hotel. Also, their food was mediocre at best. The port that has many restaurants is about five minutes away so that is where we decided to eat all of our meals. Overall I would recommend this hotel but only if you have kids.

Over all excellent place. The tub is huge and I had a great little bubble bath! Just wish the Restaurant matched the rest of the resort. Fish and Chips was 1 huge piece of fish and none of the restaurant staff ever said thank you or gave a hint of a smile. Luckily, was only in there for 5 minutes to order or dinner and take back to the room. Bed roomie and comfortable.

The woman who checked us in was wonderful as well as helpful. Our room was great. Have never been disappointed with Holiday Inn of any kind. Was thrilled until we went to the Cape Bar and Grill, had Black and blue burger wonderful. The dining staff needs help, a lot of help. The hostess couldnt smile for anything. Waitress Carol was worse. 2:30- 3:00 in afternoon on Sunday . It was like we were troubling them. The only person friendly was the training waitress. We heard conversation that we werent meant to hear about tips. Felt so uncomfortable my friend and I got our food to go and finished them in our room. We are both in the food service industry, so do notice more than most. First time Ive ever been compelled to remark.

Fantastic Staff! The movie theater is stellar!Fab on-site store, and other unique amenities!Terrific Lazy River with Pool Slide and large pool with hot tub. Kitchenette in-room is great for a quick breakfast before running out for days events. Not all rooms have a view (or even window). Half of hotel has not been renovated, it seems. LOTS of construction/early NOISE -maybe good for 2021 visit??

Amazing stay here for a week in mid September.. Had a 2br/2bath suite in building 2. Our room had a walkout balcony just steps from the boardwalk and beach. The main pool area with lazy river is the largest in Port Canaveral Im pretty sure. My 3 year old niece had a blast, and so did all of the adults. Even our separate building in the back had its own private pool and hot tub, and was never crowded. Location, location, location is all I can say about this place. Well be back!

We lived having a 1 bedroom to hang with the family after our cruise. Easy access to the beach, beautiful pools, lazy river, big hot tub. We watched the next set of cruise ships leave right from our balcony, which was cool. The on site resteraunt was good. Overall loved it. Will stay again.

We were greeted quickly, and friendly at the front desk. While our rooms were not ready. We were offered to go to the pool to relax until the room was ready. They used to have a band with music at the pool with hair braiding. They also used to have pool activities for the kids. They don’t have any of that anymore. We ordered food for the boys and the kids meals are super small. Our adult meals were very good. We were given a pager and needed to report back to the bars when the food was ready. Overall the food experience was good. It would have been great if the kids meals had more that 10 fries. They have a basketball and tennis court. The kids loved this. We waited over 30 minutes for the tram to the beach. We actually went inside to check to make sure it was still running. Waited about 10 minutes for the tram on the way back they used to have nightly shows and activities, most have been cancelled.

Honestly the facility is really nice. My tv didnt work, that was fine. One of the closet doors was leaning against the little kitchen area, that was fine. The jets in the hot tub didnt work, that was fine. What wasnt fine is that we paid for a hotel I was told (I called specifically and asked) I could leave my car parked at for the entire cruise. That turned out to be not the case. I would not have booked that hotel at all because of that, there were far cheaper hotels I could have stayed at. So now Im out that money plus what I had to pay somewhere else for parking...not fine

Holiday inn ResortWe wanted to see a launch and to tour the Kennedy Space Center. This was the closest hotel, and it was fabulous! If the launch had not been scrubbed, we could have watched while lounging in or by the pool. After checkout after staying one night, the Center was so close that when we got there, we parked in the first row of parking. Our checkin experience was via text message and face to face. CCD guidelines for a pandemic were followed and the staff was friendly & efficient. We had a room on the 5th floor, and our view was the parking area. Next time we’ll pay a little more for a pool view. The room was spacious with everything we needed for more than a one night stay: beach towels, microwave, small fridge, dishwasher, dishes, pots & pans, utensils, coffee maker and more. We had a sofa and easy chair to watch the flat screen cable TV. The bed was comfortable, and we had a good night’s sleep. We had lunch at the onsite restaurant. Food was reasonably priced and tasted great. Service was also very good. The pool area encouraged social distancing. The lazy river was relaxing, but it was a little tricky avoiding a few others in the river. The pool was closing, so we didn’t use the slide. We walked the boardwalk to the beach - about .5 to .7 miles each way. The beach is beautiful, and we walked down the next morning to see the sunrise, the seagulls and skimmers, as well as the sandpipers. We did not see any of the movies in the theater, because we didn’t have time (3 movies at 10, 2, and 6). We also did not have time for ping pong, shuffleboard, miniature golf, tennis, or basketball. All equipment is provided, by the way!Express check out was a breeze. We were too early for the restaurant, so we drove 15 min. to a Waffle House.

This is a great hotel that is about a 5-10 min walk to the beach along a nice boardwalk. Lots of activities to do in the water park or head down to the beach and go for a swim. Dinner options are limited at hotel and happy hour drinks are from a set menu (i.e. the fun drinks are not included). Overall, great hotel for couples or families.

Arrived during construction of many floors and closed down elevator. The room was very nice and bathroom was gorgeous. Nice little kitchenette served us well. The noise from early morning was very not joyful-over the road building work noise plus the people who’s working on each floor were noisy. The late afternoon when we arrived we headed to the hot tub to relax, but as of the construction work when we finished had to walk out on the front and walk around the to the side entrance to go up to the 4th floor, well it felt like freezing . No shops around or restaurant only the one inside the hotel...I wouldn’t recommend this place until refurbishment have not finished.

Check in and check out are simple. The rooms are clean with more than adequate amenities. The hotel facilities are clean and there is more than enough to entertain all ages.We loved the bar staff, they make you feel right at home. Breakfast is really nice there and although we had vouchers for the 2 adults it was worth paying for the boys and a few extra bits. The pool is a great escape with lazy river and the slide. The children also really enjoyed the child play area. The shop is equipped with those travel essentials which you always need and almost always forget. Our room balcony faced the cruise ships coming in and out of port which was a great experience and really got the children excited when their ship came in.The location is in the center of everything and so close to the port should you be taking a cruise.

My husband and I purchased a time share here 16 yrs ago on our honeymoon. We spent alot of money for it and were promised so many things that have just not been up held. It was always a nightmare trying to schedule our week. We were told we could use the resort facilities anytime we wanted to but we just had to call a head of time. Well now thats a lie as we just found out that you had to pay EXTRA for that privilege and now it isnt even offered to anyone. We were NEVER informed of this, no letter, nothing at our annual meetings, nothing!!. I thought once Holiday Inn took over it would be better but it is not. They tried brow beating us to spend MORE money to convert to a point system which is THOUSANDS of dollars extra. No!! I am done!! Plz do not purchase from them. Its not worth it!!!!

The kids had a great time. The resort is located in a great location. It could have been a cleaner room and resort. There are parts that are showing age. The shuttle to the beach needs to be more frequent, most of the time it is easier just to walk. They do NOT clean the rooms while you are there, and getting new towels/ trash bags, etc can be a real pain in the butt.

Stayed here with my family for two nights before taking a cruise. Suite accommodations were great and clean. Beds were a little sagging in the middle. Enjoyed two delicious breakfasts in the restaurant. Staff was friendly and worked hard even though they could have used more help. We all enjoyed the pool area and kids loved it. Bartender at the pool bar was terrific and we enjoyed some appetizers we ordered there. We took advantage of the shuttle service and Will (?) from Peru was our great driver. Don’t miss walking to see the sunset at the ocean..

We flew to Florida for spring break. We stayed at four different hotels in different areas. This location was by far our favorite!! The pool area was awesome! Lazy river.. slide.. large hot tub.. huge pool.. kids area with water features! Lots of tables and lounge chairs to find a spot to relax. Unfortunately, the weather was chilly and rained one of the days.. BUT that just meant we got to play in the kids area! Lots of tunnels and slides, coloring station and ping pong. They have a movie theatre and an arcade area with pool tables and air hockey. LOTS to do!! We weren’t able to eat at the restaurant cause they were having issues with the kitchen, so we ordered pizzas. We took the shuttle to the boardwalk to the beach and were able to watch a giant cruise ship depart. We had a super nice driver by the name or Will, who gave us some tips on the area! We’re excited to plan our trip for next winter there too!

This is a beautiful resort, but there are virtually no rooms that are ocean view. If you do select an ocean view room for a reservation, please know that only the top floor of the ocean building will actually have a view. The rest are blocked by trees. Call the front desk to confirm your preferences and reservation, do not use the web-site. Same with the pool-side rooms. Many overlook the condos off to the side, not the actual pool. The web-site room reservations do not mean much.

Ok so we stayed here as a result of a timeshare offer, free vacation, yes but spent 400 to extend one day. The rooms are nice, typical condo set up and clean other than that nothing to write home about. We don’t normally do these timeshare sales pitches but were hounded with phone calls soliciting it until it was like, hey, we can take a trip, have room for friends and get our money back for it.. what can go wrong... bad choiceWe spent 10 days exploring Florida and ended our trip with a stay here. Just to note. I am a very laid back individual and not easily angered. Long story short we received multiple calls and emails from this “time share service”, I told my husband, what could it hurt let’s take the offer but explain we’re not interested in purchasing any kind of time share and see what happens. I was nice and up front with the caller. No problem, he offered us an upgrade to the “actual” resort due to the fact that I made him smile in our conversation, hey sweet- thank you.. until we had to check in and go to the meeting.. talk about a living hell, to actually get into our room it took over an hour, almost 2Our “sales presentation “ was at 9 AM on SaturdayGenerally an in and out, we made it clear, up front, to the call center and the salesman we were not interested. what perused from there felt like a full out attach and interrogation. I could not believe the rudeness and condemnation we received. I explained to our salesman Russ that we weren’t interested and that this was not our thing, he actually said “if this isn’t what you like to do why did you fight so hard to stay at the actual resort? Umm I didn’t ask for it. My husbands and myself felt belittled by the sales rep and the corporate rep who was shadowing him. He even had the audacity to tell my husband “ finally a right answer” and the corporate rep who was “shadowing” him actually compared us not being interested (which was disclosed when we were first approached with the unending phone calls and at the beginning of the sales pitch) to us subjecting our 8 year old child to judge mental judges at gymnastic competitions. I can not put into words the anger I felt at his treatment of myself and my husband and I can assure I will not feel comfortable staying at any of Holiday Inn locations in the future

I booked this Villa for 7 of us, as on the website it said it sleeps 8. Pictures of the rooms looked very nice which was one reason why I booked it. Once we arrived to our room, I was quickly disappointed. It looked NOTHING like the pictures and was very very cheap and bare. Beds were twin/full so it was super hard to sleep 2 people in a bed. Bathrooms were a decent size.We did love the pool, water-slides, lazy river and hot tubs. That was probably the best part about our stay.
