We have been fortunate to been part of the Rise of the Phoenix club for past 4 years.I give my daughter options each year to tryout anywhere else and her answer is always No Way Phoenix is Home!The coaching staff is Spectacular, the facility is superb. Extra training sessions are always available. The parents are all great! You can see and feel the energy & excitement these kids have just at practice! If you just looking for any GREAT club and Volleyball home with great coaching,parents and kids then I would Highly recommend Phoenix Rising Volleyball Club

We love Phoenix! Our daughter has played here for 5 years and each year just gets better and better! Phoenix now has their own facility. The complaints about a dirty warehouse and unsafe conditions are false. The owner of the building replaced the roof and the facility is fabulous! If you are looking for a club with actual morals and ethics, this is the club for you. A great family environment and a staff that truly cares for the players. You can’t blame any sports club for trying to deal with Covid. We received a credit for next club season and are very happy!

Our daughter just started playing club for the first time with Phoenix and we couldnt be happier with her experience. The coaches are amazing and really take the time to work with each team member. She has grown tremendously since joining, improving not just her volleyball skills, but the mentorship from the coaches and team mates has also boosted her overall confidence level. We cant thank the coach and team enough for the positive influence theyve had on our 13-year old.

2020 was my daughters first year playing club volleyball and the fam couldnt have asked for a better situation. Not only is Phoenix Rising an amazing club as far as positive, inspiring culture is concerned, but our coach was the perfect personality to dive in and really understand HOW to coach my daughter. Her volleyball acumen strengthened, her play improved dramatically and, most importantly, she learned to have confidence in herself and her play. And, she gained an amazing group of friends on top of all of it. Unfortunately, the zombie apocalypse cut our 2020 season short. Phoenix gave us the only safe option for our girl to continue getting instruction and to have an outlet for physical activity when the world was trying to shut down. Any penny we’ve spent (surprise folks...club volleyball ain’t free) has been more than worth it. 100% satisfied, happy, content and raring to go for 2021!

My 13 yr old said the coaches go out of their way to individualize instruction for each athlete. She knows her coaches see her and are investing in her as a player. They saw her potential and showed her they believed in her. Players here are conditioned, trained on different skills, and taught strategies to improve their mental game as well. My daughter considers this her home away from home and cannot get enough time there. When she leaves she is already thinking of the next time she will be back.Even through Covid craziness, this gym found ways to safely continue volleyball and give my athlete this much needed outlet in uncertain times. And most recently they have given our girls a place for their middle schools to practice and play when their school programs were in need.From the highest of highs winning tournaments and medals to tough losses and seasons being cut short, from beach to indoor, from clinics to camps and private lessons, from great coaches to best friends, this club has been there over and over for my daughter. We consider ourselves blessed to be part of the Phoenix family.

I love this club. The coaches are great and care about building better volleyball players!!! I’ve read a few of the negative reviews that surround the unfortunate situation of a global pandemic, but having 3 kids in sports at that time, Phoenix Rising followed protocol, just like every other sports organization. We have only had positive experiences here. From club, to clinics, to beach...my daughter has a blast with her teammates. Phoenix has not only improved her skills immensely, but her confidence too. I love this club and this volleyball family.

This isnt just a volleyball club, it is a family, one that encourages, strengthens and supports each individual player as well as the team and by extension the parents and siblings. The coaches are dedicated and caring, the management, professional and understanding. Phoenix Rising has shown time and again they are entrenched in our community and they care. When our lives were altered by a tragic loss, they came together to hold us up until we could get our footing. We are better for knowing these amazing families, girls, coaches and parents.

My daughter attended a 2 day beach Volleyball clinic this summer and after two days felt comfortable enough to participate in a weekend tournament. Coach Joe and his staff made us feel welcome and provided a positive experience for our player. I wish this club was closer to Marietta but for anyone close to the Woodstock are, this is a good find!!

A friend and myself took our girls for a beginners session that lasted a few weeks. These lessons seemed to be ok. We then transitioned them over to a beginners team class. That’s where it started to fall apart. We consistently had different coaches because the regular coach was never there on time. We never got the same story from each of the coaches. One would gives us times and dates for games and the other would tell us something completely different. We were told when we signed up that we would have one game a week and the next thing we were being told is it might not be every week but 2 or 3 games on one day of a week instead. We were asked to install an app so they could keep us informed but no one would ever respond to the practice or game questions in a timely manner. Trying to make plans was impossible because they couldn’t get their act together! Then COVID-19 hit! We had only had 2 practices and was supposed to have our first game that weekend, which didn’t happen. After realizing this covid thing was going to be long term, they offered no refunds of any kinds and was completely unsympathetic the situation. I asked Robin for a refund numerous times and was either ignored completely or told they were working on a solution. We were FINALLY told that we could only do make up classes and that was it! No refunds and no further contact/responses were given to my emails and I could never get an answer when I tried calling. The other reviewer for this place is correct and that they do ONLY care about getting your money! Had this place been any good to begin with and not been so scattered I may have considered going back in the spring just to be able to get my money out of it, but considering how awful the whole experience was, NO THANKS....LESSON LEARNED!!! Will NOT go through that mess again!

This is our first season with Phoenix Rising and the dedication and commitment from everyone involved has been amazing. We have truly enjoyed our time and look forward to many more seasons!

We did a few of their summer camps and they were great! Our daughter loved the experience.

Last season was our first with this club. The team was very welcoming and my daughter learned a lot. We are looking forward to returning to another challenging season.

They only care about your money! Be careful if deciding to come here you kid will train on a warehouse under unsafe conditions! Once they get your money you won’t see it back no matter what happened specially on this covid situation where everything is closed but they keep taking your money. I wish I could give -5 stars to this place. Keep away from here!
