Such a great venue to see a show. St Andrews has really improved over the years. Very clean venue
Beautiful clean place! Nice staff. We enjoyed the concert there very much. We would definitely recommend it and we will be back!
Great venue! Clean. Seats are great. Ushers awesome! Love it
This was the first time I went to the theater. I was impressed with the program, staff and the McCarthy concert. The theater was well organized the staff was great. Highly recommend the theater for a night out.
Had a great experience at this theater. It is a beautiful building and the interior has a classic vibe. The show was good, the acoustics and sound system made listening easy, and the theater is well designed for good views of the stage. My only complaint is that the parking is fairly limited, though the lots are well signed to make sure you dont end up in a residents only lot! Look forward to seeing more shows here!
Nice theatre. The small side theater can stand to have more comfortable chairs but like the charm of the smaller stage.
I went to the Village Theater in Canton just last night for a community event. The team at the theater was professional, helpful, engaged and responsive. It was a pleasure to work with the great staff and wonderful volunteers. The parking was ample. All the signage was readable, easy to understand and to follow. The theater itself and grounds are all kept up well. The seating is spacious and the individual seats are comfortable. We were fortunate to have the function catered and were very happy with the accommodations provided by the theater to the company bringing in the food and drink. The lighting and technical staff are all first rate. We had a changeup at the last minute and their professionalism walked us right through it. I will be looking forward to attending other events at this venue. I recommend it highly.
Cherry hill village theater is excellent. Prehistoric program was lame, overrated and not worth the money paid. Our 7 year old knew more about the topic than was presented.
This is a great community theater and a tremendous asset for the Canton area. Weve seen a number of performances here, some big time acts and its been a great venue for these performances. Ticket prices are very reasonable. Sound and lighting is excellent. Seating comfortable, but could have more leg room, but what theater couldnt.
Fantastic community theatre experience for ages young and old. Very excited to attend the holiday shows
Recently had a behind the scene tour. Learnt a lot. This place has a new artist display their artwork every month. I attended a class. A different one every month. You should check it out. Great shows too. Wine, blankets... oh my.
Like going here to see the talented young people in the community.
Nice venue, all great seats, not too big. Bar/restaurant off lobby open again.
I am a part of spotlight players, which is an acting group who performs and often practices at the Village Theater, and the space is always so clean, so welcoming and comfortable. Everyday I have rehearsal I am truly so thankful for the environment we are given to rehearse in.
Nice. Small. Friendly. Drinks arent an arm or a leg. Would like a bigger seat myself. But that may be more me than their seats. Art work is a bit...... Odd?All in all a nice venue.
Seats were comfortable the acoustics were great. We saw one of the 2018 seasons Shakespeare plays, Measure to Measure. It was fantastic! I also saw one of the 2018 plays at the Jackson Bowman theater. It definitely was comparable in space, acoustics and comfort. Thank you for the great experience!
Wonderful theater. Comfortable. No bad seats in house. Smaller side with professional atmosphere. Also, great sound system and acoustics. Professional staff. Great place to take in a show ( as well as perform).
Great venue, nice variety of shows and always different displays of art to view!
This is a community theater and they offer many arts displays. The theater is comfortable.
As a local theater, this place operates on a level beyond the competition. They make their show guests as comfortable as possible and give their patrons the experience they expect, amazing. You will not be disappointed with their venue nor their selections of acts performed here.
Great place to see a show
Really nice venue with many amenities. Sensory friendly.
I have played 2 musicals at this beautiful venue and enjoyed it IMMENSELY.
Really a very nice theatre. We saw Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat. The production was pretty well done.
Nice location with ample parking. Well organized and polite staff.
Very nice venue. Clean. Personable.
Just watched the Christmas Broadway Spectacular and it was one of the top shows I’ve ever seen. Absolutely amazing performers and costumes. I think this is going to be a new tradition to watch it every year.
I am in love with this theater! Facilities are beautiful. Not a bad seat in the house.
Very beautiful and comfortable. Helpful staff. Clean bathrooms.
If you enjoy live performances you should check out the Village Theater. But if you live right nearby, whenever you have a chance to vote, that might be your polling place. I was there recently to vote in the primary election, and did not have a chance to see a play or musical. One other thing I want to recommend about the Village Theater is this: local artists hang beautiful works of art all over the theater. Paintings, mixed media pieces, textiles... And its free for guests to walk around and enjoy the beauty. Many of these pieces are also available for purchase.
Just saw a fantastic show. What a great production
Great place for a date night or with the family. The concession stand/ wall opening plan could use a review... But otherwise fun night out
Phil is a pleasure to work with. Very beautiful and professional theater and staff
Had a great time enjoying a production of Mama Mia.
This is a nice theatre hidden away in a residential area. Friendly staff. Comfortable seats. Lovely exhibit of paintings in the lobby for in between times. My only complaint would be that they should have a concession stand, and perhaps a shop. Also nightlife or after-theatre drinks/food in the area is non-existent. The production of the show, however, was top rate!
Great plays! Lovely theater.
They have great community theater shows!
Great fun! Great cast!
Awesome venue for the childrens show. The area looks great and feels very safe. Looking forward to coming back again in December.
Great place. They hold a lot of events every year, including international multiculture festivals. It brings a lot of fun for kids.
Very comfortable place. Auditorium is medium size with perfect view from any seat. Love it
I go here for play practice and its usually very clean! The theater is cozy and they treat everyone there with respect.
Beautiful artwork, very friendly staff, large theater.
10 bucks each to see grand daughter dance for 3 minutes dance recital
We always see good performances here. It is a bit of a drive but worth it!
THOROUGHLY enjoyed the one-man play A MAN & HIS PROSTATE! We bought special tickets & got to meet ED ASNER (one of my very favorite actors), who took pictures w us & autographed r tickets! As if that wasnt enough, they had a lovely mixed media display by a local artist. A fabulous time was had by both of us. It was a great girls night out!
So nice. Acoustics are fantastic. Live theater, Live Music Village Theater is a Gem.
I really enjoyed the performances this placeIs great. Clean sells out fast. Very Friendly staff.
Saw the play Taming of the Shrew at the Village Theater, it was performed wonderfully! The Village Theater is quite a remarkable building. Very modern and appealing to the eye. My only problem was my bottom got sore sitting in the seat after only thirty minutes. They need replace the seat cushions with thicker, firmer foam.
Have had great experiences every time Ive gone to see a play
I sang with the Harmonytown Chorus on Veterans Day to all of the veterans who served in various capacities in different wars.
We saw the Musical Oaklahoma! What a great production. I would highly recommend this theatre any time and looking forward to the next show I attend!
Great place to watch a musical or play. tops every other place in town. It has okay food for a performing arts place. I went here to see Mary Poppins and Schoolhouse Rock! It was great.
Well organized, great people
Parking is limited in their lot and they sell candy at concessions that cause some noisy wrappers during the production. Other than that wonderful experience and quality shows.
Very nice local theater. Enjoyed Joseph.
The theatre is awesome! The people who run the theatre? Awesome! Just awesome!
First time there this past weekend. It was for a show for the Chinese festival they had for the week. I believe it seats about 500. Its new and therefore still clean and all sparkly. I like its cozyness and its service as a neighborhood theater. Like the kind we had when I was a child. Today we have mega complexes, which are fun, but that closeness and feeling of belonging is somewhat missing. I will eagerly put it on my list to check for upcoming events. And I do plan to attend more.
Love coming here for youth concerts and other events. Michigan youth symphony orchestra performs here. Comfortable seats, great acoustics. They have performances most weekends and rotating interesting art displays in their foyer.
Nice place. Enjoyed the concert!Parking a little different
Went to the Michigan Shakespeare festival and saw the tempest. Our seats were great 2nd row middle. Very clean theater with good acoustics. The play was over before ten. The only disapointment was no place was open for coffee or a snack after the show.
Truly enjoyed The Odd Couple tonight!
Beautiful venue for my sons sons dance recital
Watched the popovich show! Awesome show for kids with animals.
Good air. Good seats
The place seems pretty nice except its a theatre for ants. This place is tiny. Seats were pretty comfortable and they served beer and wine. Seriously this place is tiny. Cruise ships Ive been on have been much bigger.
Diverse activities!
My daughter had her dance recital here. It was really nice.
My daughter is part of the spotlight players theater group and they have performed many wonderful plays at this beautiful theater.
Nice venue. Always enjoy myself at one of their events.
I enjoyed the Jazz Concert there very much and will be back for the plays whenever I can!!
Went for my Grand daughters recital no cell signal.
Lots of different things to see here
Great local theater with fun interesting shows and plays.
Excellent theatre. Look forward to seeing more productions here. Nice job Canton!
Very comfortable venue for community theater and other performances.
Great performance!! Saw two good men tonight and It was great!!
Beautiful venue for the Art show
This is an awesome place to take a field trip to.
Need better access for elderly not in wheelchair
Nice place, easy to get to. The play was great
Great place to see a play!
Very nice live performance theater. It is well maintained, in a nice neighborhood, and has good parking.
Beautiful venue and a great performance setup
Very nice, clean venue.
Each time I have been there, the first time with my church in Canton with as group of studying diversity in many areas of MI and enjoyed that study group and noticed the great paintings always for sale. It is a beautifully constructed theater providing great acoustic sound for the many plays, etc. I have again attended twice in the past two years to attend a Steve King & the Dittilies concert for charity events to promote Arts & Humanities and both times given great seats. I have always enjoyed Steves concerts at the Livonia Spree (first two times) and at many functions in the downtown area of Plymouth and at very large and well attended charity event event in Livonia at the former Roma Hall. Its theme was a local Dancing with the Stars.
Very nice, clean and intimate.
This is a gorgeous location that puts on wonderful theatre and community events. Always a great time to spend with the family and friends.
Wonderful feel. Great family place. Enjoyable.
Kids dance recital
Great, family owned store! Good service and quality instruments at fair prices.
Ive done a couple of shows here and love the beautiful stage we have here. Great local shows are put on here and is probably the jewel of Cherry Hill Road.
Nice venue for live entertainment, love the Michigan Shakespeare Festival shows.
This is the areas premier theater. Amazing sound and no bad seats. Drinks for sale and always new, buyable art on the walls.
Great venue, very beautiful yet intimate.
