Homeplace on the Green River is a perfect slice of beautiful South Central Kentucky. I look forward to lots of great, family-friendly events and celebrations of history!
We love going here ever year! There is a lot of different things to do such as petting zoo, pottery, butter making, food, mule plowing, tractors, achery, etc. You get a sense of what it use to be like in older times. It is also nice to go around to the different tables to see what local people have to offer. My kids love riding the wagon pulled by a team of mules. The homemade strawberry shortcake is to die for!
Mmmmmm food was great and it was really fun. So many awesome things to look at and venders. Friendly people too.
This is the 2nd time I have been to Homeplace and both times it says hours 9-5 but then the 1 day every 6 months they have this everyone starts closing up at 3. By 5 it is completely deserted. Not happy about that.
Beautiful area! Well kept facilities. Very hospitable.
Great Educational facility. Plow Days in Spring and Fall Festival are great family times.
Had an awesome time with my friend and her 2 grandchildren! Lots of crafts, animals that you dont see everyday! Plenty of food, music hay rides, corn maze, making your own butter, but could use a bit more hands on things for the kids over all, delightful day!
Great time. It took you back in time when they used mules for plowing. Plenty of vendors and amazing food. Plan on going back in fall for the harvest.
It has a lot of different things
