Great museum, would recommend, had a bit of a strange smell, but its all good. The small man in the entryway was kind at first and gave me many presents. As long as you dont ruin his T-pose competitions, or jump on his back, he will be very hospitable. The lake Champlain exhibit is slightly terrifying because of the real-life sea monster.
The best museum this side of the Mississippi! I am still sad to have missed the exhibit about the Yuan Dynasty and its many headless humans, but the delicious (yet slightly over priced) Nutty Buddies made up for it. Would definitely recommend for people between the ages of 99 and 123. (Dont be scared of the small man that may hit you with sticks, he is actually quite harmless.)
Would recommend as the museum was quite amusing; however, I have often been hit with sticks whilst attending. I thought the Yuan Dynasty exhibit was utterly fascinating and I would definitely be inclined to come again.
One of the world’s most intriguing museums. The creaky steps are so musical! The staff seemed quite knowledgeable and friendly, but the Nutty Buddies were over-priced.
The people are super helpful and told me a lot about Burlington’s intriguing history, even after living here for over 70 years I still learned something new! I highly recommend this experience for visitors and locals alike!
Great contents! Would go again. Nothing particularly special though. Great place to bring your kids.
I was pleasantly surprised when I walked up creaky steps, through the screened doors to find quaintly arranged historical painted panels and a small man wearing a lemon hat gesticulating enthusiastically. A lovely adventure during which I gained an immense catalog of knowledge!
Nice museum, with great local owners. Bit of a short visit, but has something for everyone.
Absolutely the best museum I have gone to for a long time, gives a more home like then you might expect, an excellent twist to the museum formula
Been here multiple times. Would recommend, serves complementary snacks on occasion.
It was fun but it felt like a tight squeeze...
Great museum would recommend
The headless humans in the Yuan Dynasty section were slightly unsettling
