A gem in Buffalo NY! I wish we had had more time to spend here. Very pretty park asking the lake. Family friendly. Dog friendly. It was windy on this particular day, we could have spent all day watching the winds break on the brake wall. It was amazing. Had no idea how long this park is you can walk along the sidewalk from Riverside many many miles Im not even sure how many honestly. Cant wait to be back and explore!
A beautiful gem on the buffalo water. Great for kids and adults. In the summer they have kayaks and other water fun to rent. Amazing winds sculptures and a fun slide to go down. Small water access with Adirondack chair to watch the sun set or rise. Small enough for a short jaunt with the kids. Beautiful enough for a long date.
Awesome open space right by the water of the lake! This entire outer harbor area has been improving and improving. I know theres lots of campaigns doing great things to make the entire area esthetically pleasing and something for Buffalo to be proud of..heres a picture of me flying my LED kite at night, from Wilkeson Pointe:)
Such a beautiful place, we went very close to the closing time, so all the shops were closed. But there is a snack bar, and kayak renting, and a kayak dock even if you want to put your own in the water. Beautiful gardens and artwork throughout. Access to the water, although the sign say no swimming, Ive definitely seen people in the water.
This spot is perfect. Kayak, paddleboard, eat, drink fly a kite! Great view of the sunset! It has something new every year and allows for as much personal space we are all accustomed to needing.
Its so Beautiful & Peaceful. (I dont think they are moving as well since pandemic) still a great place for biking, walking, kayaking just hanging out enjoying the weather!
Gorgeous place for kayaking or swimming. They even have an amazing kayak launch from a dock which is incredible. The beach area for swimming is exceptionally rocky so wear swimming shoes for maximum comfort. (Our feet are used to the soft sand beaches in California). There is a restroom near the park entrance that is best for changing clothes (and babies) if you show up in your street clothes.
Nice quiet place just off of route five to sit and watch the sunset. Just a little further down the road is the grain mill that they light up at night. Also a nice place to park to walk the near by path or ride your bike
Clean quiet and peaceful.. places to sit and relax and watch nature. Clean bathrooms as well which is a huge plus.
I’ve taking my dog to swim here for years! Now it’s really been built up, and even more dogs come to run free on the dog beach! Plus, the premises sell pizza, snacks, and beer! It’s a great way to let your pup play leash free and have yourself some drinks as well :)
Always a great place to bring the dogs. Beautiful view
Great area to walk, bike or run. Flat, nice views, and as long as you want to make it. Decent amount of parking as well!
Nice little spot on the Lake Erie waterfront. Very cool windmill metal sculptures and fun slides. I took a yoga class down there over the summer and it was very relaxing. Beautiful sunsets! There is also a restroom and a water fountain, and plenty of parking
Urban lake side nature park. Just go and enjoy.
It is one if Buffalos beautiful parks.
Nice place to walk around. Most people had bikes or rollerblades. Enjoyed our visit here. Perfect weather day!
Great space to come to on an Outer Harbor bike ride, or to swim with small kids or dogs!
Great dog beach for hot summer days. Glad we have one in Buffalo. Definitely not a place humans should swim.
This park is great for adults and young kids alike. In the summer the park lot fills quickly, but there is ample parallel parking spots along the road. There is a small play area, lots of looping paths, a small hill with cool spinning wind art made from giant spoons and a small native plant garden.A small beach with a mix of sand and pebbles. As well as a big field to fly kites in. In the summer there are huts to rent bikes or kayaks, though its not a great place for first time kayak renters. For adults it is a popular less crowded place to watch the sun set, though once it does, have a jacket because it cools off rapidly.
Ambience very good, service very good, menu items we selected good to very good, somewhat pricey in this range but in COVID times perhaps the new normal: 2 diners, 1 salad 2 entrees 3 drinks total bill > $100
One of the best summer go to spots. Really something for everyone here!
Great place to bring the family. They have volleyball nets, place for kids to have fun, and a good place for sunset
Unique dinning experience. Ample parking as well as handicap parking, entrance e is also acomadating for the handicapped as well. Their specialty is BBQ, brisket, ribs in various dishes, piled brisket and pork and chicken along with with a choise of various sides. There are also other options as well. They also have a bar and a variety of alcoholic beverage to choose from. Service is friendly and acomadating. Reservations are not necessary. Mask is mandatory until youre seated. Social distancing is observed. Nice change in dinning.
Very nice summer place to visit! More parking please.
Nice fall morning walk with the dogs, meandered over to Times Beach and walked through the closed wooded path and broken down boardwalk.
Its gorgeous. Views of the water are wonderful.
Love walking here. All the trails are amazing.
Beautifully remodeled and lovely path by the water. Perfect short half hour walk if you want to watch the sunset, or you can hang around at the cute little manmade beach (with actual sand) or keep walking on other paths to take you around the entire waterfront. Around summertime, they put up volleyball nets, have a tikihut that serves alcoholic beverages such as beer and wine, and have another hut that rents out bicycles/tandom bikes. There is a new bathroom building with water fountains for both humans and mans best friend! To top off this gorgeous newly created addition to this waterfront location, they added some unique metal sculptures that twirl in the wind.
Great spot. now if some one would just put some sand on the beach.
I love this
Very quiet and relaxing especially early am
This is a small park but clean and beautiful. Bike and kayak rentals available
Looking out at the water was so Beautiful.
Great biking/walking trails.
Clean park, great vantage point too the lake
The city of Buffalo hot a home run with this park. Very excellent well kept park.
Beautiful outdoor space on the water with lovely wind sculptures, great for walking around and biking, kayaking. Fantastic area
I enjoyed preparing for the launching of the laterns during the Waterlatern Festival. Creating my waterlatern while enjoying foods from the various food trucks. The people were great, positive energy. The weather for the night was great.
Not too crowded. Nice sculptures .
What a wonderful place to spend an afternoon! The whirligigs are my favorite!
Beautiful place to visit, lots to explore, facilities clean!
Great place for a walk or jog or a bike ride! Enjoy the waterfront.
We usally go to the beach here, its dog friendly. Rocky beach, bring watershoes if you plan on going in the water.
Great place from bike rentals to kayaks to the small little beach all in all great place
We went to the Jack craft fair as we did last year, a fun outing, and lots of food trucks available. Only problem with any even though, is the parking, which is limited to one lot or the road. Not enough handicap parking to ever try to bring hubbys wheelchair. Daughter left me off and then parked, which took longer than I liked. If they could only add a few more spaces under the bridge!
Beautiful park, small quiet beach, great view for a sunset.
By far my favorite spot in the park. Alot to see and interact with. Bring the kiddos!
Great place to hang out and spend an afternoon. The beer garden is dog friendly, and theres a beach to let the pups swim and frolic. They also offer kayak renting, along with bicycles, tandem bicycles, and pedal carts!
Buffalo’s only off-leash dog beach. Great spot for dogs.
Lovely walk, ride kayak, swim, whatever you want
Great beach to take your dog to.
Great view of the lake, great place to cool off on a hot day
Always a good time. Beautiful
Always a great place to go
Fabulous park with amazing sunset views! I saw the numbers from the skyway and had to find them to check it out... So glad I did!
Beautiful lakeside park
Dogs had fun. Luckily we went on a nice day. Beach is great for dogs.
Great path. Best sunsets around, the entire path is well lit have brought the kids a few times very calm safe place.
Great trails, views, and breeze
One the best spots for sunset after Niagara falls..
Beautiful park. Great walking paths, bike paths. Kayaking. Access to the waterfront. Beach area. Beautiful Sculptures. Nice and clean restrooms. Pet friendly. Absolutely love what they’ve done down there.
Great place for a walk, or even better if you have a kayak, as they have a dock to launch it. There are also restrooms close by, and you can rent a bicycle of you want to take a ride down the waterfront. Either way you have a spectacular view of the water.
Part of buffalo s history one day years and years ago people are sitting at their Camp making a fire 1800 s buffalo as many secret place
Beautiful year round
Worth visit for a good evening walk!!!
Quite evening with a glorious sunset
They have the best dog beach
The view was bomb
Just a great place to walk, bike, sit and enjoy the sculptures and lake shore
Great place to watch high waves, or freighters coming into Buffalo, or walk your dog. Public kayak launch is also here.
One of my favorite places to go watch the sunset very relaxing.
Nice place to go...Quiet and serene
Great spot in the outer harbor. got some good photos from there.
Quiet & peaceful, nice place to walk !
Having grown up in Buffalo, it is amazing to see the positive changes along our waterfront. Each time I visit my hometown, I try and make a visit down to the lakefront and enjoy all the work that has been done.
Enjoyed a beautiful sunset.
Love this place!
Peaceful and happy
The actual point is closed during the pandemic. Clean most of the time, except for some animal droppings throughout the walkway.
Always love coming here, great for the kids! My son loves the slides and then dipping his feet in the water. Fun for the whole family!
Good place to look at the view from the mountains
What a nice place to go. Beautiful views and walkways. Stopped to get a Hot Dog but only had pizza, pizza logs, pretzels and drinks. Was disappointed in that. Will go back through. Also had a spot where dogs could go in the water but no humans. Great place.
Great place for biking or place to just relax by water
Love this place! So beautiful, had our wedding here and didnt disappoint. Also played kickball here and love how Buffalo is developing and getting nicer day in and day out!
Water is dirty and very loud everything kayaking was ok but pollution was everywhere
