Would recommend. Went on a field trip in my American History Class. Got to see this amazing rock then went home. This rock is like no other.
I like that it is something tucked away in a neighborhood instead of highlighted in a busy area; shows the layers of time. It is ironically near a road named for Lincoln.
History truly comes alive at this unique marker of a historic event that would lead us to having Teddy Roosevelt becoming our president
Its a rock. On the one hand, for something with such apparent significance, the site could have been built up a lot more. On the other hand, it didnt smell of dog piss, which isnt true of most rocks you find on the ground outside.
Nothing special. Just a stone identifying that is where McKinley was shot.
Small, unobtrusive marker to commemorate the shooting of President McKinley. Not much to it except for a plaque on a rock in the median of a residential street, but it is cool to know youre standing in the same spot.
Needs better recognition
