Double Header at Sahlens Field on their July 3rd celebration with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra. Great games followed by a spectacular performance by the BPO with a fireworks display afterward. The beautiful weather made for an incredibly enjoyable evening. They do a fantastic job entertaining people of all ages at the Bisons games. I would highly recommend getting out of the house and taking in a game or two this season. You wont regret it!
I have great memories of this place. always lots of fun to watch a game with my family
Always a great time. The stadium is very nice. Traffic is easily and properly. managed. The food is good, but typical in pricing. There are big name local restaurants here. The other game goers are great and always fun. The stadium is staged as such that any games after 5 or so pm will be out of the direct sun, and 7pm there is pretty much no direct sun anywhere but the furthest south portion of the field.
Our first visit to Sahlen Field and our first Bisons game was fantastic! We went on July 3 which turned out to be a double-header and included a post-game concert by the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and an amazing fireworks show to close the evening. Apparently, they do this every year on July 3. I highly recommend that you plan to go next year. Its a great time! The stadium itself is beginning to age a bit, but is still in really good shape. There are plenty of restrooms, concession stands and there isnt a bad seat in the house. Every section has great views of the field. We cant wait to come back again!
Seats are great, fans are loyal, the players are there to play ball, super easy to find. On everyones first visit at customer relations you will receive a certificate with your name and date on it. Bring a sweater and a blanket for when the sun goes down. Thats what makes it feel so authentic. Its for kids of all ages.
The best sports venue in town. Cheap tickets, family friendly crowd, short concession lines. Laid back atmosphere and a nice, well kept, clean stadium. Nice between inning entertainment too.
The Buffalo Bisons are the minor league baseball team for Buffalo New York. Think that just because it is a minor league game you wont have fun? Well you are dead wrong! head on over here, get some beers, and watch a game you will enjoy yourself!!!
Great baseball, easy parking. Highly recommend the party deck on Bully Hill. U choose 3 hot & 3 sides, all u can eat & drink for one low price. We reserve it a few times a season. So much fun!
I remember visiting this place when I was 6. YAWN!! But in their defence I barely understood the rules of baseball.
What a fun and relaxing time! So easy to get to on the train which drops you off just one block from the stadium. The level of play seemed like Major League ball.
A really nice and relaxing way to spend a lazy Summer afternoon at the ballpark! I spent time back some 35 years ago with my Dad at the old Rockpile and I even seen a Beach Boys concert there with a love interest back in the glorious Summer of 1987.
My Dad, brothers and I took a road trip from Spencerville Ontario just to come see the Bisons play. It was well worth the trip. The Bisons played strong and won the game in the end. The stadium was well taken care of, very clean with lots of different vendors. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. We will definitely be coming back next time we are in the area
Attended a country festival in the summer. Overprice foods and beverages.
Always a good night out for the family. Its been great getting to see some of the Toronto blue Jays players play with us for some games the past couple yrs. Fireworks on fridays, and special happy hour/wing deals for certain games. Good beer selection.
Took my daughter her for her birthday. Very entertaining. Bring a blanket though. It does get cold. Also once you go in the stadium, youre in. you cant leave. Only way you can come back is if someone is nice so bring everything ahead of time.
Because its my actual job and I work here and love everyone who works here and takes care of all who come to the ballpark for a baseball game each and every day and night through out the summer months And days until the end of August. Amen. God bless you all thank you. Bye bye now mwahh.
A great time, a great venue, and at a great price. Give yourself a bit more time to park than you expect but getting out of the stadium is much easier.
Great place to take in a game.
What else can I say....its always the same any other time Ive gone to a game AND they not even a MLB team which I dont like. If they made it to the playoffs or something then maybe Id be more interested
You cant beat the price even with parking. Its a summertime must-do. There were even fireworks after the game on a Thursday night. Great time.
The Buffalo Bisons are always at the top of the “WNY Summer Must Do List”. Parking has always been inexpensive and easy to navigate. Ticket prices are reasonable and loaded with fun promotions all season long. The concessions seem to have a distinct local flare, and also reasonably prices for a minor league sporting event. The overall enjoyability factor for a Buffalo Bisons game is off the scale! If I still lived in WNY I would absolutely consider being a season ticket holder! I have visited countless baseball stadiums around the nation, and the Bisons have always been near the top of my list.
Great experience and a lot to fun. The comedic jugglers were talented and funny and the fireworks after the game ended were incredible!
Great ballpark... AA Baseball. Bisons are the Blue Jays farm team (one step from the majors). Good fun for all ages, baseball, concerts, Friday Night Bash with terrific fireworks, special events and lots more!
Nice outing, good crowd, fun night San Diego Chickens cousin was good as well!
I love the atmosphere of my ballpark. The prices for a ticket are reasonable and its fun to see the players before they make it big!
Had a fun time fire works was amazing keep up the great work we need more good players to watch play Come on Toronto it was like no 1 came to hit and the missed plays on the field
Enjoy a minor league baseball game at a great price
Im a huge Blue Jays fan, but Id rather cross the border to watch a Bisons game than go to the Rogers Center. Parking is $5, the best seats $15 and the food and craft beer are great and less than half of what youd pay at the Dome. My only caution to anyone going to a game thats used to the Dome is bring an umbrella if it might rain, and a hat and sunscreen if its going to be clear. Its an old-school park.
I was there for The taste of country isnt the beer cost a lot I guess its cuz I dont drink always had a great time at taste of country though
Go baby Jays go, great prices, great seating and parking in area so much cheaper than Blue Jays
The hit or miss team aside (no pun intended), the Bisons field (now Salens Field) is ok. Good family fun with decent entertainment.Admission into the park is fairly well priced. The food, however, a little overpriced for the quality. The seating and layout are relatively outdated but it has some charm to it. The stairs in some of the sections do not all appear to be properly spaced (some stairs are a little higher than others); which has lead to a wide assortment of trips, falls, and spilled [mildly overpriced] concessions.Fortunately, the staff is mostly considerate and reasonable.
Great experiences here. Mainly only been for Bisons games and Chicken Wing Fest. Comparatively, the prices are fair. Sometimes they have happy hour and the prices are GREAT. A good spot to spend a few hours, and a few bucks.
Star wars night. Would be nice if there was more to it. The kids love ot and want to do it every yearGet the package with the hot dog drink and light saber! Well qorth the few hours and the game!
Nice Field my grandson play baseball there so I like it so much
My kids first game and the visiting team threw them a couple of baseballs. Kids were so excited. Can not wait to take them back!
Took my grandson to his 1st ball game GO BISONS
AMAZING FIREWORKS DISPLAY!! THE GAME WAS REALLY GOOD TOO
Great park. Fun events. Good team.
A bit smaller of a stadium, but very well maintained and managed. Glad we have one here in Buffalo!
The baseball season is over for this year but know we are looking forward to next years season. Each year the Bisons bring fun to the each game, whether it be the players on the field or the doings in the stands.Events such as Star Wars Night or Dog Day at The Park make for fanticipation. The annual Independence Eve celebration is a rousing event that pairs the Buffalo Philharmonic with a glorious pre-Fourth of July fireworks display.Going gourmet is no problem at the ball park. Now known as Sahlens Field, the park is now the home of the iconic Sahlens hot dog. What could be more American than munching on a premium dog while watching your favourite team? The park is very kid friendly, with Buster Bison making his rounds to greet fans. The music is always an added bit of fun as fans are encouraged to dance, clap and shout out the words of encouragement to the players.During baseball season, a trip to Sahlens Field is not to be missed!
Great venue, we went on a Sunday and they had a lot of activities for the kids including a bounce house, a climbing wall, and they allowed the kids to run the bases!
Love going to Bisons games. So much fun and just screams summertime in Buffalo.
Excellent game tonight, rowdy rowdy hit the 3 run homer bottom of 8th, hail #34
Always a fun experience at a Bisons game! The young lady at the box office was rude and unwilling to help me print my ticket that I was having difficulty using as a mobile ticket on my phone.....but, the game was exciting!
The baseball experience is wonderful. The food is great with adequate concessions available throughout the ballpark. The facilities are well maintained. There is more than adequate parking nearby. Few options for dining near the ballpark.
Amazing field! Such a fun place to bring friends and family :D
Games are so fun. The only downside is how much the food and drinks cost, but hey, that’s how they make their money.
It is a good place to take in baseball with family and see some good players, but the stadium has very small walkways which, combined with the game-day activities and food lines makes it nearly impossible to walk. Another issue we found rather annoying is that unlike other parks, there is nowhere to stand and watch the game. There are seats with no walkways between the levels and the entire concourse is behind more cement. The issues have nothing to do with the team itself, but rather an outdated or rather poorly designed concourse.
Visiting and caught a Baseball game. Food was great at the park.
Great time with the grandson . Good food, good time, lot of runs, beautiful night and lots of happiness
Great place to take the family for a fun night out. Decent prices on everything, tickets, food drinks. Good selection of snacks.
Nothing better than a warm summer evening eating ice cream and watching a baseball game!! Great family event, always fun!!
Always a good time at the games. Kid friendly all American baseball.
Been here twice, the first time was at an early May game where it actually started snowing. Ballpark employees are first-rate, I noticed that right away. Good-sized minor league ballpark, maybe the best Ive been to. Good game experience, the promos arent as intrusive as at other parks.
Great local AAA at reasonable prices. Very family friendly atmosphere! Dont miss the annual star wars night, great family fun!
Love it every time we come.
Its been awhile since I went but I do know its reasonably priced if you can sit through a full game
We had a great time. The waitress in the party zone did a fantastic job. The food was delicious. Everyone was very friendly and pleasant. We will go back!!!
One of the best parts of summer. Thanks for being there for me, Bisons!
Always a great time going to a Bisons game. Never a disappointment.
Great minor league ballpark. Farm system for the Blue Jays, so you often get to see stars. Not a bad seat in the park. Tickets are very reasonable, you can sit behind home plate for under $20. Lots of local restaurants around the area and cheap parking make it a great choice for a family day out.
Good place beef on weck is delicious. Pack water and sunscreen
Friday nite happy hour is not to be missed $3 craft beers, pizza logs, beef on weck
Great game wonderful park nice family fun
Great stadium, great fans, good time
A large group of us went to Polish Night. The old Pettibones Bar is newly renovated and very reasonably priced. The fireworks were amazing..best Ive seen in years.
Very nice ball park. Very reasonable price for entertainment value. Good food choices & areas to have a beverage and watch the game from different sight lines.
Best kept secret in Buffalo. Professional base at a great price. The park is awesome!
Enjoy Bisons games in the summer... love the micro-brews available! Ushers are always helpful and friendly, too.
Great baseball experience, the best of Buffalo food, drink and great for families too. MLB really messed up by giving the Marlins to Miami. They couldnt even pay people to show up there and half of the fans there just spend all their time playing with their phones
I love baseball and this is good baseball at a good location
Sat in section 201 the seats had cobwebs on them. They only gave out 2,000 vlad jr bobbleheads. Food is ok
Food and beverages are way to expensive.Food is thrown together and sloppy. Staff is rude. I was there during the Taste of Country concert and there was alot of people so maybe Staff was overwhelmed?
Exciting double header Bisons won both and fireworks afterwards.
Love the park, the hotdogs, the beer. The team wasnt so good today.
Great stadium great seats great pricing.
Our double decker bus picked up children at Sahlen Field for an educational tour. Bisons staff was wonderful.
Great view of the field. Great crowd. Very Kid friendly. Good prices. Parking available. Handicap friendly.
We love bringing the kids and out of town guests here for games and special events.
Great place to bring the kids and watch quality baseball
Buffalo baseball is a lower cost fun event to enjoy watching outside
Good value for baseball food and drinks are reasonable price
Food is getting expensive expect $1-2 more than reg store pricing. Games are fun to watch and music is great. Huge downer for me and my family has been buster bison not being friendly (completely didnt see us in front of him as he rushed by not even a wave with is yelling( hi buster!)
Awesome family outing. Friday night bash, and it smells like Cheerios!
