The perfect place for up and coming artists, performers, and creators! I recently rented out Sugar City for Green Buffalo Productions presentation of Liquidation, by Samantha Marchant. I love the flexibility Sugar City has to offer, as well as the artists first, profits second mission they continue to uphold. GBP will certainly be coming back for events in the future!
Sugar city is definitely a unique place to go see a show, it was are first time going there and we didnt know what to expect, we werent disappointed!! Kinda small but that just added to the fun, worth checking out!
Wonderful atmosphere, healthy, all ages entertainment, a vibrant zine library and frequent live shows make sugar city a fantastic gathering place.
Sugar City is an all-ages, drug/alcohol free community space that has music/art events. Its volunteer-ran. Its a clean place, and it has overall really nice vibes.
My sister got engaged here, my other sister had her graduation/birthday party here, and Ive been to concerts here. Its an inclusive, chill, place for just about anything.
This is a great budget friendly multi-use space. Art, books, pamphlets hanging all around to check out with some items for sale. Street parking only.
Interesting vevue.
I saw a small comedy show here. It was a fantastic venue, inclusive space with a huge selection of zines and pamphlets to keep your mind occupied until the sh*t starts.
Flexible arts space, fulfilling a necessary part of our creative community.
A good place to watch live bands. Very roomy but not too many places to sit. It is a drug & alcohol free environment. All ages are welcome!
Young crowd, interesting art and music venue
Great space for activities. Ive only been there once. Very friendly people! Good vibes
Great for events of any kind. All events must be alcohol and drug free which is great so teens can attend. Events range from group meetings, concerts, birthdays or art exhibits.
Cool venue for starting musicians and performers.
Awesome place to begin
The place is cool, but holy smokes the sound guy has no friggin idea what hes doing. He barely sets up the band and then goes out to his car and sits in their until theyre about done and then comes back and acts like hes been working. Wash, rinse repeat. Please replace this clown.
Exactly what you want in a noise club. Uncluttered, acoustically brutal, cheap drinks to rehydrate in between sets, and some of the nicest people on the planet running the show. Very reminiscent of Pittsburghs Mr. Roboto Project in all the best ways.
Great little venue with art and music events.
Great local venue with a friendly vibe and a great art space in rhe front.
Cute small little venue really fun
Great venue for artists.
This is supposed to be a Community Center for Children yet they have 30 year old men in rock bands playing there. I will no longer be letting my child attend.
Highly disappointing services! They cancelled my art exhibition/ live performance event, the day prior to my actual event. They claimed the cancellation was due to lack of staff; and the booking of a fundraiser the exact same night. I planned to rent out the entire venue, four months prior and I made serval investments (the band, commericials, advertisments, fountains) etc, to make sure the event was perfect. This is highly unacceptable! The only thing that went right, was my rehibursment and receiving my artwork back with no issues.
Great spot for DIY shows
Good music. No beer :(
Great site! Great vibes!
Great space! Great crew running it, too!
Nice community owned art and music venue!!!!! Variety of interesting things happen here!
Could be a good venue, invest in a fan.
Love the set up, cool place friendly people
