Pleasant area, easy access. Restaurant had good food & drinks. Entertainment was great!
Gorgeous building and interior but not much to offer. We were there at around 11:00am and only several stores were open on the main floor. They’re some cool niches but nothing too interesting to us. There’s nothing on the 2nd and 3rd floors for consumers. We also paid for street parking.Perhaps we went at the wrong time of year, but it wasn’t worth the visit. I doubt we’d be back unless there was a bigger event with lots more shops open.
Not many shops inside. But some interesting local business shops located here which is worth a visit at least once.
Its a shame its owners let it go and shut it down to the public.
Located in Buffalos Theatre District the Market Arcade was designed in 1892 by Buffalo architects Edward B. Green and William S. Wicks and is Buffalos first mall. The two-level mini-mall has been undergoing a rebirth. It contains boutique shops and the CEPA Gallery and also connects to the Expo Market.
The next time one of your movie theaters isnt working (according to the could-care-less guy selling tickets), please put a sign on the door to notify patrons. We had a lovely dinner in the area and then walked around to kill time and then stood outside for about a half an hour before the movie started only to be told upon entry that the movie theater isnt working. Its understandable that stuff like that happens but to not do something about it is frustrating. Nothing was even posted online. Please do better.
I went to the Market Arcade to join Preservation Buffalo Niagara! Love that building! It is such a classic! Didnt have time to visit the other shops. Wish I did! Next time!
Nice building, but not much to offer inside. All the lights were off by 5pm so I wasnt sure if the place was open or not but all the remaining stores left inside all say open till6pm? Which is it?
Great old building, but dead inside. Needs more life and love put back into it.
Nice looking place and hoped there was some good stores here. Not my taste I guess.
Great building and great shops. You need to visit.
Its nothing but ladies jewelry stores and small gifts. Nice, but not for everyone.
Great old building. Just had some renovations. Businesses are just moving back in.

When this place was opened, they had the cheapest tickets year round. Even offered discounts with school id. It was a good location for those without a car right in the heart of downtown buffalo. I liked the setup in here, pretty cool. They didnt always have the best selection of movies but they had movies none-the-less. I remember the last time I was here was yo see Magic Mike lol. Im not sure what they will be doing with the building today since it no longer is in business.
Pizza was awesome. Forget the name but it was very spicy. Killer peppers
Great place to shop and eat. A true downtown Mall. Way better than the Main Place Mall down the street. This place actually has retail stores and its completely filled too! And it even has cool art galleries on all three floors at no cost to view. Cool clothing stores, a pet shop, Buffalo store, and EXPO Market connected by a former storefront so you never have to go outside to get to either places. Definitely worth the trip downtown.
Beautiful, full of light, connected to Expo Market and has many nice stores at various price points.
Nice building, not much to offer. Pretty empty.
Expo has good food, but the retail section is meh.
Is amazing how this place is transforming
Very nicely done. Great seats and love the extra butter!
Great place to get food and drinks...there is also art galleries there
Historical building with great shops and art. Located in the heart of downtown Buffalo.
Okay place. Went for a coffee but ended up going to a different spot because there was no place to eat.
This was a well kept building when owned by the city. Now its owned by Sinatra & Co and they are letting it fall to the ground. Leaky skylight in the atrium, even the Body Bar on the 3rd floor has a leaky roof thats been a problem since they moved in, broken bathroom fixtures, no heat or ac, locked entrance/exit doors, public stairways now chained up and uninviting, Im surprised any tenant remains inside.
Nice place.
Not my favorite place but it was okay I got one Christmas gift for my son and I
What a beautiful building. Great shops with reasonably priced items. The macarons and galette at Maison Le Caer were both amazing! So nice to see this part of the city coming back to life.
Awesome venue and shops!
The building itself is beautiful. The offices or occupants I found rude and not much to offer there. The exception was Jennifer Reed of Sinatras realty group. Very personable and helpful
The Market Arcade building may be the best small public interior space in the city. Walking into the building, you are confronted by the realization that this type of building was the forerunner to todays indoor shopping malls. If only shopping malls could create this intimacy. This gem was built in 1892 and its in remarkable condition with a bold purple, green, red and grey interior color scheme that pops under the glass pane roof which floods the interior with light. There are private offices here, a sandwich shop, an art gallery and a tourist visitors center that is well-stocked with everything Buffalo and western New York. Dont forget to check out the exterior details, too, especially the large Buffalo head over each entrance. Anyone who visits Buffalo should stop here first to stock up on information and nostalgia.
Outstanding, we went to 3 different restaurants and all 4 of us were happy. Great food, excellent prices and friendly staff.
Great theatre been there forever

Place is closed
Nice building, not much to offer inside. I wouldnt call it a mall
Fantastic architecture and shops. Worth a visit.
Not much in here, weird vibes. The workers (or I think they work in the building) act like they dont want anyone inside even though they clearly have retail stores. ..not worth visiting again.
Need more Restaurants in there.
Small shops mostly hidden in the theater district that provides hope to some small businesses. This is a sign of the cities growth
Nothing much inside, only some eatery and coffee stores.
Lovely architecture and nice independent artsy shops.

Trend up store is the best.
