There is so much for the kids to play on here and we absolutely love it! I like that they have play things here that you dont see at most parks.

Ever since they built the new park its been awesome new playground spongy floor kids dont get hurt awesome

Nice quiet park that I like to walk to/at for exercise. You can play basketball, baseball, or tennis outdoors. You can also have a picnic and play horseshoes while letting kids play on a playground just for them. The ground at the kids area is composed of a soft material, so when your kid falls down, they wont get a face full of mulch.

I love the new playground .... But they should have installed a couple of canopies to provide shade for the children to cool off and provided additional tables and benches for parents

We loved the new playground, but there isnt enough shade close to it. The parents are sitting farther away than they should because of lack of shade which is not safe.

Great park location. Photos are of the Holiday Magic event each year. The city creates an ice slide that is tons of fun. Usually held pat November to early December. Bounce houses, games, etc Great park during the day too. Facilities can be rented for events. It has tennis courts and a horse shoe court with lots of play equipment.

It looks very pretty. The constant car noises are a major issue. Cant bring my dog for walks bc they are so loud.

Relaxing place to get out and get some exercise. If not that physical its nice to pick a spot and watch the cars pass by or if the children are playing to watch them. I like the gazebo seating on water..I saw a turtle..

When I went to Bowie Elementary school in the 1950s, we would take our spring field trip to the park. I’ll look forward to it Every year, there was a little stream that ran through it and I would hunt for tadpoles.I learn to swim in the pool. I hope it’s still making memories for kids.

Large area to run, play, relax by trees and grass. Gazebo, restrooms, basketball court, play area, pond, trees, benches, picnic tables and plenty of fresh air.

Interesting experience happened while sitting in our vehicle two woman sat down a man came riding up on a bicycle one woman got up and went into the bathroom with the man, the other woman stayed seated at the picnic table. About 30 minutes later woman came out followed by the man about 15 minutes later. Then the two woman walked to there car on the other side of the park which had lots of woman and children taking their kids out for fresh air and the man left out of the park riding his bicycle the opposite way out of the park.

Nice huge park. Came to play baseball, as well as take a walk around. Ice cream truck drove by and made it even better.

Nice Park, I usually walk around this park 2-4 times a week for exercise

Brought my 8yr old son to the Christmas opener here.Had a blast and well be here next year.They also do Easter egg hunts in the spring.

Beautiful park right off of downtown Bryan. Well kept and nicely built, the park is in a convient place. Large pavilions for parties and even one with a massive BBQ pit.

Very nice park. We had our family reunion here, more than enough room and plenty of electrical outlets to handle everything we needed.

Los of playground equipment, walkways, green areas. It also has a pavillion and tables for celebrations, and very convenient parking. This park is a nice place for a family to spend some time outdoors.

This is such a fun park!! We go here for fellowships and other group activities as well. And every time we go, there has always been enough room for all of us and many other families to be in the park with room to spare! its also relaxing with the gazebo and fountains/pond and the way it is designed to feel like we are fully in nature and can take a break from the cityscape. And people who are there have been very warm and welcoming too!

Its a good neighborhood park. But it does need more things in it to do for kids and families. I believe they are working on it now. So its gonna be aweosme

Lots of family fun

I love this park. It has great jogging paths, a fountain, clean bathrooms, nice pavilions, BBQ areas are covered and even have fireplaces in them. My favorite feature of this park though is an Oak Tree that is hundreds of years old that naturally has a huge heart shape in the bark. My love-tree! Nice, clean, safe, park near downtown.

The kids played on the playground equipment and had a great time.

Holiday in The Park at Haswell park. It was extremely fun for the kids. Lots of activities just needed more thinhs for things to do for kids. It was a huge turn out.

Cool park

The birds in the pavilion sound like there talking, its so cool. Will come out of there nests in the roof if your there long enough. Then chirp at you and at each other as if arguing over who gets to beg you for any food that you might have. So bring some bread or seed to feed them if you enjoy friendly birds.I also really love the bust statues of the presidents, each has a plaque with a summary of accomplishments written on each. Great teaching aid that I think is a must see.

Grew up with this park just miss the heart tree

Good park plenty of areas for parking, decent walking paths and junglegyms, loads of horseshoe pits.

Great place to let off stress

We had such a great time here, the city of Bryan was kind enough to allow me to rent it for a BSA(Boy Scouts Of America) function. We hosted a giant gather with food and beverage and we all shared a great evening here. The ceremony we held was great and the boys had such a great time. I can not thank you enough for the site availability. The weather held out and overall it was a great evening.

I love this park. Mostly because it was within walking distance of my old house. Just a fun local park with basket ball, baseball, a play area, and pavilions. Also a Horseshoe mecca! they have like 20 horseshoe pits.

Our visit was fun. The only thing is the web had false info about time closing. Yes if they stayed opened and made us leave due to i guess Private swim lessons. It should be know on web sight.

It was awesome. My grandbaby loves to come to this park. She said they hv the best swings in town. LolAnd the park is always beautiful. There is never any trash and the grass is kept emaculant!!! Its a totally awesome place to bring ur family.

Nice place, very clean. Was a cold windy day, and the wind blew into the building. So we had lots of blankets to cover us up!!

Sue Haswell Park is a good park for families,kids to have fun at if i was to pick a park it will be Haswell dont get me wrong the other parks are a ok to long as the kids can have a good time thats what count

Park is nice, and the pavilion areas are more than adequate for all your needs. I if they would address/update the bathrooms I would give 4 or 5 stars. They are bad and in need of some serious tlc

This is a big park with a lot to offer! I specifically go there for tennis because the courts are nice and have lights :)

Beautiful park plenty of different activity centers always someone on one of the many provided grills wholl usually invite you over for a burger and a soda if you happen to pass by and at the main pavilion theres a set of large high quality smokers and seating for at least 20-30 people under roof I now live in Texas City and have considered a day trip back just to have lunch in this park

Nice atmosphere, not crowded, nice place to chill or paths to exercise on, plus plenty of grass for the dogs, etc.

The park was really nice but the restrooms were totally opposite to it, dirty, full of bad smell, spiders, no soap at all and what not. It was unbelievable to see the toilet roll locked. I somehow managed to click a picture of that roll n lock, was totally shocked to see such a terrifying theft practice in USA.

A very nice place for kids to play.

This is the park I grew up with, but lots of changes. There are baseball fields, tennis courts, horseshoe courts, bocce ball lanes, a beautiful pavillion, and of course, the field of presidents of the United States. I love going here and just sitting sometimes.
