Lady working when I pulled in was a real CANT! I was told we are closed and well I pulled off only to do a U-turn and ask if she mind if I dock for 10 minutes and run down the road and grab a bite of food and I would ancor across from their dock after and get fuel from them in the morning because I was almost out. The old biddy promptly told me no and if I came back to their dock she would call the police. I know there will be some that say you must have done something but I didnt do squat but pull in a few minutes after closing time that I didnt know.

Found the dock-master to exhibit general distain . Minimum charge is based on 35 feet of boat plus an environmental fee plus 4% credit card fees. Frothy free beer on offer in over lit club house with atmosphere similar to a funeral viewing room. Attempted to use shower but found it the covered in someones body hair. Moved on after one night

Without a doubt, the nicest marina we have encountered. The facility is five-star, the staff is very attentive but, even more than that, the culture is amazing. We were just passing through and stopped to enjoy Thanksgiving with crusing friends and fell in love with BLM. We can see making this our home for awhile, when we need to cool our jets. Highly, highly recommend.

This marina is super clean. Very friendly employees. Super support. On top of clients needs. Only reason I gave less than 5 stars due to wanting to buy a drink from a vending machine. I spent hours there touring a ship. This is only hold out I have. Clean restrooms as well as reasonably clean port a johns. Just nothing to drink and I apparently missed a water fountain somewhere. Awesome day at the marina! Definitely recommend time here ( just take a drink) 4.9 stars!!

Loosing its shine! Baths are not near as clean as they should be. Not much maint. done, broken toilet seat in northern most bath house, soap scum pretty thick, no place to sit (other than toilet) no bench or chair.Getting pretty pricey with the increased rates. Free beer if you can stand Pabst Blue Ribbon on tap.

Weve always used this place since the 90s. Big boats cost big money to maintain, this is just another part of it. Its always been well run and usually no problem getting someone on the phone to check status of a haul out or job on the set. Price is reasonable compared to Florida haul out yards. I recommend this place for large boat owners.

Marina like no other and outstanding staff. Bjarne (Brian tall and handsome as he sometimes goes by) and Kent are great. We pulled in after hours for a transient stay and they had us all set up with a key card waiting. Free access to a grill and Bjarne even offered hot coffee in the morning. We decided to stay a bit longer and made BLM our home for the next couple months as we prepped for longer term cruising. Great community of boaters had taught us alot over good food and drinks at the weekly socials. Great Place. Great People. Great Experience.

I have kept my boat here half of the year for the last four years. I like the marina and staff. The floating docks are excellent and there is little current. It is walking distance to a cool renovated downtown area and a short drive to a local hardware and West Marine. There is a Georgia Pacific paper plant about a mile away and if the wind blows right you can smell it. So what? That’s coastal Georgia folks. They’ve recently upgraded the restrooms and are adding another. Bottom line, I think it’s a good value and I like the location. I do not recommend the yard. Too many horror stories from folks I’ve met over the years.

What a wonderful experience!! After putting on a show of boat handling incompetence while docking we were greeted by Ms. Sherri with a smile and a report on our docking grade (F). We had 2 other boats with us and they were graded as well, we had a great time laughing about our difficulties. Ms. Sherri and Cindi were very helpful and fun to be around. All the amenities were first rate and clean. We will definitely be back if for nothing else but to see the Ladies of BLM, they make the marina a 10. Thanks ladies we had a blast!!!!!

The staff is fantastic and the one and only Sherry is inimitable! Very helpful all around. BLM is a great hurricane hole, with super amenities and a very social atmosphere. The floating docks are well maintained. Bathrooms and shower, clubhouse, library/game room is great. The Landing kickstarts a wine party 3 nights a week and beer is always available, free of charge. Laundry is free with nice new machines. Major holidays are also a marina wide event. Just last month, at Labor Day, Sherry cooked up a Low Country Boil for the Marina that was delicious. Everyone brought side dishes and the feast was incredible!

As a member of the Golden Isles community, I believe in supporting local businesses. If I have a problem, I try to resolve it directly, and not air my grievances in public, because I believe people in this community are generally set on doing the right thing, and more times than not they do make it right. As a financial adviser, this is not only my personal belief, but I am also bound by my profession to do the right thing and to “treat the customer fairly”. The fact that I am writing a negative review about Brunswick Landing Marina is not meant to disparage the employees there, who are just doing their jobs. But having tried to resolve this matter directly, and having received a disproportionately negative response in return, I am compelled to share my story, in the hope that this does not happen again to anyone else.I took my Cape Dory 36 to Brunswick Landing based on the reviews and experience of friends, many of whom keep their boats there. I had her hauled out, surveyed and had the cutlass bearing replaced at the boatyard. The total bill was $1,800. We then put her back in the water and had her towed to a private dock (we were in the process of rebuilding the engine). While under tow, she took on water, as we discovered the packing gland nut was not tightened down. This was not a few drops of water, but enough to fill the bilge, and it nearly sank the boat. While scrambling to bail out the water, we called Brunswick Landing and they sent Wayne, the head mechanic. He drove out on a weekend and quickly tightened the packing gland nut. When asked why there was no attention paid to the packing gland when replacing the cutlass bearing, he simply responded that it was “not on the work order”. I was very surprised to then receive a bill for $225 for this work, including charges for overtime! Now the boat was not leaking when I brought her to BLM, only after we left (within 2 hours) was there a problem. I asked Wayne if he felt in any way responsible, given that one would typically check and/or repack the packing gland and tighten the nut when replacing a cutlass bearing, especially as they were aware that she was towed and the engine was not operational. Not only did he refuse to accept any responsibility, but he then proceeded to blame me for “rushing” the repairs (we were trying to get her moved to the private dock ahead of a weather front, to finish the engine, and I had already paid for 7 lay days). I expect a mechanic to stand behind his work, and to think about other related issues that could arise as a result of the work he is doing. If I take my car to have the wheel changed, tightening the lug nuts is not on the work order. And if there are any other issues affecting the car’s safety that are discovered (or suspected) while the contracted repair is being done, I would expect to at least be notified and given the option to repair other things crucial to the car’s safety. I have this same expectation for work done at a marina and do not feel this is unreasonable.I asked if there was anything unjust about sending me a $225 bill for tightening the packing gland nut (including overtime since it was a weekend!), and if it was worth that to lose a customer. His response: “pay the bill“. To add insult to injury, he actually told me to never come back there again!I appreciate that Wayne came quickly and on a weekend, and he should be compensated for that. However, this issue should never have occurred in the first place, and I am appalled to have been treated this way after trying to resolve it directly with the marina. I am a good-natured person and was courteous in reaching out to BLM. Not only was this gesture unappreciated, but it was met with a reaction that I would never have expected from a reputable marina. I have honestly never been treated this way, in any capacity, by anyone. There is no chance that I will return to Brunswick Landing. Fortunately, there are other very good alternatives nearby, and I will be happy to give them my business in future.

There is so much to say about this Marina that I really dont know where to begin. So Ive decided to break it down similarly the way anchorages are rated.Staff: Five Stars, Sherry and Cindy are the best. They are completely in control and are willing to help make your stay the Best possible.Facilities: Five Stars, Very solid floating docks, good power and WiFi. Good depths for deep draft vessels very protected from all winds except south winds. But the only dock that really is exposed is dock 1. Very little current ( mostly tidal) makes docking very easy.Bathrooms: Five Stars, the bathrooms here are just about the best weve seen since leaving Delaware. Large showers, plenty of hot water and did I mention A/C? It was warm while we stayed here and the A/C was great. Great water pressure and the cleaning staff did a great job keeping them clean.Laundry: Five Stars, free washers and dryers at 2 locations. Did I mention they were Free.Club House: Five Stars, if you are a social person and like to meet interesting people this is the place. They have Free beer on tap 24/7 in the Club House. Every Mon/Weds/Fri they have Free wine from 5 to 7 along with the free beer. On the 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month they have a pot luck dinner at the Club House. We were there over Christmas, and the Marina hosted a Christmas Dinner providing the meat while the boaters provided the side dishes. We even had a visit from Santa Claus!Fuel: Five Stars, this Marina has the best prices anywhere for Diesel Fuel.Provisioning: Five Stars, Brunswick is a Great community and the towns people could not have been friendlier. Plenty of restaurants, hardware store, and even a West Marine within walking distance. There is just no reason to go anywhere else. We will definitely be returning on our push back north.

Customer service is very poor - The marina is dirty with smells from a nearby water treatment plant and a sulphur emitting pulp mill.
