Beautiful nature preserve. Very tranquil place and well maintained. Visited in November and we were the only ones there. Surrounding area was great to explore as well.

Wonderful short trail and bird watching post. The Coastal DNR has lots of great educational signs so this would be a great quick homeschooling lesson on marsh and coastal habitats.

Great for overseeing St. Simons and Jekyll Islands at the same time. Bring mosquito spray and a lunch for a perfect picnic spot.

There really wasnt anything to see. It seems as if some of the trails havent been maintained so we couldnt access them. It took about 5 minutes to see everything that could be seen. It would be fine if you just wanted to have a picnic in a shady area. We saw three white birds and that was it. No other animals or birds. And the entrance was hard to find. Its actually in the coast guard parking lot. No arrows or signs or anything. Just a tiny opening in some trees off the side of the parking lot.

This is a great, well-maintained trail in Glynn county. It is centrally located & Easy to access, perfect for families with small children or novice hikers to get great views of the marsh. There are several picnic areas, benches, and observation towers/platforms. There is also a covered shelter at the beginning. A must see!!

This is a nice little spot. It is normally open dawn until dusk but is closed due to storm damage now. Hopefully it will be open again soon.

This isnt exactly a trail. Its more of a park. If youre looking for a serious nature trail experience, this isnt it. Its a nice, small park.
