Brunswick Rec has great staff members and a clean and well-run facility. The pool is great and the lifeguards are friendly and attentive.

The Brunswick Rec Center is great! Clean, friendly staff and plenty of different machines to choose from. They have a lot of great programs and classes for all ages too.

Had a blast out here with the seniors for music bingo. Hope they had as much fun as we did!

First time visiting for a childs birthday party. Very clean, staff was professional and friendly (especially the lifeguards!). Ice cream machine was a bonus

Its average with the functionality of what you need but nothing really stands out. The pool and hot tub appear clean but the hot tub is dated. Locker rooms likely havent been updated in the past 15 years but as i said earlier get the job done. Basketball court is nice and usually kept in great shape. Weightroom has the same equipment other than some of the machines. They have done a nice job with providing for better flooring for the fitness center.

Only went swimming but everything was clean and the water was warm. The employees there are very nice and helpful.

Brunswick Recreation is great. Every month they have super cool stuff going on for the kids. There Santa Claus was relly neat this year. If I didnt know that he wasnt real I would believe he was the real deal from the Noth Pole.. Your great Brunswick Rec. Thanks for being so fun filled

Unfortunately the pool finally reopened after being closed for cleaning for over a week and the water was quite cold as I went today. 77 degrees. They are heating it so should be good tomorrow. Thought I would go into the hot tub but the chlorine was so potent it was burning my eyes and I had to get out. Too bad when I called this morning nothing was mentioned on the automated schedule about the fact the pool needed another day to reheat. Hopefully all is good tomorrow

Conveniently located! Many programs. Currently my younger son is in the Jump Start Sports Little Hoops basketball program (pic - working w/ grandpa on making a basket before class), and in the summer my kids do swim lessons

Great place to get big brain and body

My family and I have visited the rec center every year for the past 11 years since we moved to the city. You cant beat family passes for half off. They have adequate amenities which most of the time you can get on the Nautilus equipment and exercise equipment with ease. Theres a nice walking Track above the basketball courts. my daughter loves swimming at the pool and especially in summer when they open up the doors and theres a nice patio to Sun on. We recommended for birthday parties.

Nice but basketball courts could use a renovation. Havent gone in the pool area. Decent space and like the track above the basketball courts.

We have been members for over a year now and we have enjoyed many of the activities offered for children. The swimming program can definitely improve. The Safe Haven program is great! Ladies at the front desk are very nice.

I like it, close to where I live, love the events they throw especially the father and little darling dance, me and my daughter have went two years in A row and we have fun. Havent used the pool yet though.

There seems to be a problem with the management of this place.To those who want to use the dance room. they rent it out to Tri-C and you cant use it. we show up and cant use it. ridiculous. Why not post that its occupied? How hard is it to communicate to your customers? Feels like management is trying to hide something.Pool: its almost end of June and kiddie pool is still not open! whats the problem here? Employees dont have an answer when you ask. Cant management keep people informed especially those that work there? Horrible.Parking lot is a shambles behind the building. Pot holes and huge cracks. Someone is going to get hurt.

Visited with the saint Ambrose preschool party. All the kids had a wonderful time thanks to Saint Ambrose.

Horrible experience at the pool. The lifeguards were super strict. My child was not allowed to jump off diving board, was told that he was “ flipping” when he clearly was not. My children could not play a simple game without getting yelled at. The only thing the life guards allowed my children to do was pretty much just stand there. Had to leave, I recommend if you have children to not being them here. They will not have a fun time being a kid. Just awful

Looks nice enough, didnt see a whole lot of it.

If you are joining to swim laps, this place is not for you. I paid a one year membership and I was told that theres no problem swimming laps. The kids and swim team are dominant in the scheduling of the pool. I hurt my hand and knee while swimming because management changes the depth of the pool when kids arrives. The management who runs this pool are idiots. I would fire the whole staff Frank Romes

Always a good experience at the Brunswick rec, great people, well kept facilities.

Ive been going to the rec center for a few years and I can honestly say that the experience is enjoyable. Whether Im working out, swimming or going to a small event, the rec center has been accommodating. The weight room is large and holds many machines and free weights that many other places do not. There are multiple treadmills, ellipticals and a track for cardio. The only negative to the rec center is the crowding of the cardio room or pool. Nevertheless it is in my opinion the best place to come and get some exercise

Food is okay, but we just got a 1 here for states do that kinda makes up for it

Definitely one of the best Chipotles. The ones in Akron are subpar and being from Akron, I eat here at the Brunswick one. Far superior.

Pool, hot tub, sauna, locker rooms, basketball court all clean. Gym is a bit outdated and not much equipment but can still get a work out.I advise get a membership only when 50% off.

Good place to work out for half the price of any other local gym. Work out area could be a little bigger...plenty of cardiovascular equip...tredmills,, elipticals. Decent trainers if you are looking for one to keep track of your goals... over all, I would recommend it to anyone in brunswick.

Track is not level and causes shin splints, was unable to sign up for the same membership I had 3 months ago.
