Beautiful building with excellent amenities. Superior acoustics. An old style metropolitan balcony level. A privilege to sit or perform in this auditorium.

A beautiful building that houses many notable performances of the arts!!!Orchastra, piano, sting and wind instruments! Every performance that we have attended is a more than pleasant experiences at the Performing Arts Center!

The performing arts Center at Texas southmost College is one of Brownsville hidden gems. It is a state of the art center, beautiful in its design—I call it “Brownsville’s Met”—and vastly under used by the community, despite the plethora of free concerts and events that the university and community offers. I encourage anyone reading this who has not attended an event at the Performing Arts Center to follow the calendar on UTRGV Patron of the Arts via the Internet. You will not be disappointed. My only criticism is that more handicap accessible seating needs to be made available and handrails leading down the auditorium steps would be helpful. I’m sure they were left out for aesthetics, but safety comes first.

Love this venue for live music events. UTRGV has a great Jazz Orchestra that is worth checking out. Glad to see a little culture variation in Brownsville.

I went for my sisters dance recital a month ago and the visit was not pleasant. Apparently their A/C was broken and they couldnt fix it causing discomfort to the audience and the dancers themselves. Handled very poorly.

TSC Performing Arts Center is a very wonderful theater to see and to listen the wonderful concerts that they have.

Beautiful structure with a balcony and an outside veranda with a view to the resaca. Perfect for music and /or theatrical performances. It is a shame the college doesnt use it as much as they could.

Beautiful venue but bad layout for handicap access....also no ushers and inside seating areas poorly marked and confusing....way too much security...counted 8 guards downstairs alone and they were all rude when asked about elevators for special needs..too bad...has a lot of potential though

We have our dance recital there and A.C. went off was so horrible and the girls where crying, sweating and keep falling,plus that slow the time in our schedule and they wants us leave on their time contract!!!!
