The Monster room was so much fun! My sisters and I sadly didn’t finish but we had such a great time! We had to work together Alyssa checked us in and she was very helpful. We will definitely be back!

I have been through numerous escape rooms through other companies, the two my group attempted here were poorly put together and few of the clues were in the realm of understandable. At one point we were required to enter a code into a key pad using a bent toilet brush while locked in a cell 4 feet away. At least one of the secret doors were manually operated by the game master who couldnt see if we had entered the codes correctly. We failed one of the rooms because one of the coded releases failed. Given an entire day someone might be able to get out of cell phobiaI have never walked out of an escape room early, the monster one had me close, with cell phobia I had had enough. Take your money elsewhere.

Really interesting place. It was our first time and we picked the hardest room...that was our fault. It was a fun experience, but I really don’t know how anyone could solve the Frankenstein room without a lot of help from the staff.

The Owners are amazing and very sweet the rooms are so cool.

This was our first ever escape room experience and we had a blast. We were a bit frustrated initially, but squeaked out an escape just in time.

Things we liked: Attractive pricing for our family of four (2 kids ages 7 and 10), using a Groupon. Gotta hand it to em, Nanas Study room is deceptive: seems like a simplistic theme, overall kid-friendly (though a somewhat-gruesome prop does make an appearance; also some of the puzzles and room elements definitely require adult-level abilities to accomplish.) Also, we liked the COVID-related precautions that the manager informed us about when we made the reservation... but the implementation of those precautions was shoddy (see below).Things we were meh about: Nanas Study includes a variety of puzzle-types and room design elements, nothing spectacular/unique but a good intro room. If youve done 25+ escape rooms as we have, this one room wont prove very memorable for you. The puzzles leaned heavily towards cryptography, there were a few elements that the kids could work on without assistance. Some of the props are old and/or have been mishandled by other users; gives the room a rather ratty look, although perhaps this is intentional given the background story of this particular room?Things that made us uneasy: Despite the 6-feet apart social distancing signs, and the requirement to wash your hands (with soap and water, not just the sanitizer which is available at the counter?) before and after your experience -- staff was not wearing a mask, which is the most basic proactive thing to do to minimize asymptomatic spread indoors. This wasnt too big of a deal during check-in, since there is plenty of space to stand 6 ft+ apart in the lobby (and they stagger start times so other groups arent in the lobby when you are) -- but when the staff took us to our room and gave a long speech on rules, standing just a couple feet away (since the room is quite small), we were glad to have our own masks on... but really wished the staff had one on, too! Also, Im not sure whether the waiver iPads are being sanitized between users? Something else for management to consider.

The rooms are so detailed and fun. A group of 4 of us went tonight and the young lady working the counter was so friendly and helpful. She did an outstanding job with clues and then further explanations when we were done. These escape rooms offer a lot of fun and entertainment to keep you coming back.We chose the cell phobia room it called for a lot of teamwork and a cool twist in the beginning. We were unsuccessful in making it out, however we had a lot of fun trying. If your looking for something to do check this place out.

Experience was ok. I have done other escape rooms before and this one was my least favorite. The room was in poor condition and run down. The whole thing just felt very low rent. And for what they are charging... Its a no from me.

Unfortunately, there was not much our group enjoyed about our experience. As seasoned veterans, we wanted to try the most difficult room. The difficulty came mostly from malfunctions in equipment. One of the workers had to come in at the beginning to figure out why one of the mechanical pieces wasnt releasing. At the end, a different mechanical piece didnt open the door necessary to move on. The girl who came to let us out said oh yeah, you had the right code, I dont know why the door didnt work.... A different worker asked if we wanted to see the remaining puzzles of the escape room, which was about the only redeeming thing that happened. However, when the worker had us enter the final code into the escape door, it didnt work. We tried it three times and all she could say was well its supposed to work...I dont know why it isnt.There are plenty of excellent options in the Waukesha/Milwaukee area, this is not one of them.

We had family in from out of town and were looking for something fun to do. So we decided to try this place out. The staff greeted us right away and was extremely friendly. We had so much fun. I would totally recommend going here.Thanks again.

I am very disappointed with this companys policies. I brought my toddler with who I would be holding quietly in my arms while my sister and all of her friends went through the escape Room as a Christmas present. Not only would they not let me go through even holding my kid, but I was not able to get refunded for my ticket, so we had to leave. This was not a late night or busy time for them. This was In the middle of the afternoon on a weekday. If it was a late night or they were super busy I could understand their hesitation, but they were not accommodating in the slightest. The girl behind the front desk said it was fine and then secretly went in the back to call management while I filled out a waiver. We were the only people in the building at the time and there were no other parties in front of us or behind us.... I am extremely disappointed that I could not even hold my child while walking through the escape Room when I paid so much money for myself and all the girls to have our own private Room. I will not be giving them I get business and I can assure you many people I know will not either.

Twas quite the neat experience did spend 30+ minutes in the first room due to a misinformed clue, but overall had lots of fun with the boys and still escapedAlmost

Great escape rooms! Weve done 3 different rooms and each time find them very creative and entertaining. I would highly suggest trying them if youve never done a room before and if youre a seasoned veteran! Enjoy!

Did the childrens room with boys ages 3 through 9. While they needed some help from the adults, the clues were educational and the boys were engaged the whole time. The staff was friendly and helpful. We wish they had more kids rooms to do! Thanks for a great time!

Awesome place. Went there for my birthday and owner sets up online links for everyone to prepay before the night so there isnt wasting time when you get there. Very organized. Very fun museum room we did. Hard but not impossible. All my family and friends had fun! Would definitely go again!

No air-conditioning in the room. Good customer service. But clues were not clear. Some writing was unclear. Difficult to use locks even if you know the combinations

Six of us went for a birthday party and had a Blast!! I have been to other escape rooms so I do have a point of reference for comparison, and this is very clever. There were many unique methods of determining clues and solving puzzles. And it was surprising how much needed to be done. Just when you think you are almost there ... there is MORE! This was a great time and we will definitely head back for another attempt!

Well thought out escape room. Staff was very accomadating and helpful with a birthday party for eight 10 year olds. Fun for everyone.

Awesome place to come try and escape any of their mind bending rooms with a group of friends! So much fun. I would highly recommend trying it out. The staff was excellent in assisting any needs you will have.

We did the Mysteries at the Museum with 8 people. For myself it was my 14th, but other people it was their first. The room was fun and just the right amount of challenge for the novices. Puzzles were well thought out, and even some tricky ones.The one criticism is that they either need a new intro video, or need to do personal room intros, as the video said nothing below the knees, and there are definitely puzzles below the knees.Will definitely come back to try the others.

Catch-22 was AMAZING for my son’s birthday party! The party leader, Tara, was very patient and helpful (and calm!) with our crew of very excited and loud 10 year old boys. Party room was a little on the small side, but overall it was fantastic. The boys loved the puzzle (although they didn’t solve it.). Highly recommended for a kids’s party!

This was my first escape room. We had a group of six adults in Nanas study. A bit of a tight squeeze but it ended up being fine. Ended up escaping with 3:38 to spare and used up our three extra clues. Lots of fun for a group. We bought tickets to go again.

My wife and I did our first escape room, we chose the janitor, and it was super fun and well done! It was a pretty hard room, so needless to say we did not make it out. Its definitely doable but we were a little intimidated so we were drawing a lot of blanks. Definitely going back! #escaperoomaddict

This was my first Escape Room experience. We chose the Museum, we had three adults and two kids, six and nine, and they were able to contribute and participate. We ran out of time on our very last clue! The staff did give us little hints and directions during the hour long game. It was a fun way to spend an afternoon. I thought a little pricey, but its competitive with other rooms. We re-booked another room for half off! Well go again!

First escape room experience and it lived up to the hype. Dont know why you still pay a small fee after buying passes on Groupon, but Im OK with it. We did the janitor mission and highly recommend it. Dark mysterious room, lots of stuff going on at once, many pieces to different puzzles leaves everyone with plenty to digest. Great experience and after doing some others in the area, will definitely come back here for more.

Bought a Groupon for this place and highly recommend! We were running late at dinner and afraid we would miss our scheduled room, but the staff was very accommodating and allowed us to push back our time and go into a different room. Its in a very inconspicuous location, and they only have a banner up, but dont let the outside appearance fool you- this place was a blast!! They were small rooms, which was actually kind of nice because we could do the challenge with only 4 of us instead of a bigger group. We escaped the corrupt candidate with 1 minute to spare!!

Went for a team building activity for the first time, it was AWESOME! Coming back with my husband and kids in s few weeks. A must do if youve never tried!

This place is amazing! Even though we didnt solve the room, it was still a great experience! There are so many cool features about the escape rooms that make them stand out from those of other escape room places. I would highly reccomend choosing Catch-22! This is a great place to visit for the whole family and we will definitely be coming back!

Just left Nanas Study and had a blast. Me and my fiance went there. I thought it would be easy in and out at the size of the room, but it is expertly laid out. Lots of surprises!Moorefun team will definatly be back to tryanother room next weekand will be bragging to everyone about this place!The personal was very helpful and polite.Cant brag enough about how much this was!!!!

Challenging room. Needs better A/C when a few people are packed in a room together. Has lockers for purses and keys and such. Will visit again and try the other rooms.

Fantastic escape room experience. Small, non corporate location that makes their own challenges, and does a very good job in doing so.

I would have given it five, but when we played through the clues were missing. You cant solve the room without clues. We had a good time anyways.

My husband and I went here for our date night and had a great time! We tried their new Cell Phobia room and loved the challenge! The owners, Darchell and Rick, are fantastic!

It was soooo much fun! Went with my mom and 2 sisters. I recommend The Office for a first trial! We didnt make it out but, we had sooo much fun all we could do was laugh!!!!!

We have been to several escape rooms and did not enjoy this one at all. We spent 40 minutes on the first clue. By the time we figured that out, we were frustrated and knew we would run out of time. Not fun, obscure clues....go someplace else.
