Its just the house where he was born. Its in a middle class neighborhood, and Im not even sure its open to the public on a regular basis.
Amazing little place. Well kept.
Its just a house but the history of it and the man being honored are worth the trip...have to call ahead for reservations to enter inside the house... Dont know cost but a great visit for History buffs for our area... Have plaques outside with his info....
Very nice upkeep on the outside of the home. A number is licated on the house to call if you want to tour the inside. We didnt because it was getting dark. The road to the house is a one way and the house is one the left.
My husband surprised me with a trip here on my birthday. I love Tennessee Ernie Ford! This house was so adorable. I wish to live there. I loved when Ernie was on a few episodes of I Love Lucy
House where Tennessee Ernie Ford was born and raised. It is included on the historical society in Bristol, Tennessee, and can be toured by appointment. Very interesting, and lots of good information.
This is a good place to check out if you enjoy historical folk music.
