Its charm and acoustic made it a wonderful place to go to. Also its location is great right on and off the the highway. The only thing I would add is hot food. Will definitely look to see who else place there.

Nice historic venue in downtown Bridgeport. Cozy and intimate setting ... cabaret style with traditional seating area and some small table seating as well. There really isnt a bad seat in the house! A variety of events hosted here ... concerts, plays, musicals, ... reasonably priced seats. I highly recommend attending one of the events!There is also a bar to quench your thirst and a small concession stand with popcorn and candy.

I had a great time when I was here. I love what they did with the place and I hope it stays and does well. Go and have a drink and watch a show. They have a nice variety. Enjoy.

Second time we were there to see my BF playing in Journeys tribute band AWYWI. Was awesome as always. Staff was curtous, helpful and very professional. Fans who attended was so wonderful and fun. All around a excellent night.

Not a bad seat in the house!!! AWESOME intimate venue to catch a show. Parking not an issue with a parking garage across the street. Also a very nice Italian restaurant across the street to enjoy something to eat before the show. Ive been told that the Bijou is the oldest Theatre in the country! Conveniently located right off of Rt 95. I ventured from MA to catch a show and would definitely return!!

Whats maybe even better than the comfortable and cozy setup inside the Bijou are the stories from other folks - patrons at the bar or connecting before a movie - who have been going to the Bijou for decades and decades. Its a real green of the city and the local station WPKN hosts a dynamite movie series there regularly!

Attended a Jimmy Vivino show at the theatre... Simply awesome all the way around. Fantastic musician, not a bad seat in the place, friendly atmosphere, very clean facility including the bathroom. Ill be back, No question.

Quite a little gem right here in Bridgeport CT. All seats are good. VIP seating on mezzanine level worth the extra price. Fair price for drinks.Had a problem getting out of parking garage across the street. Wasted twenty minutes.

The original Studio Cinema, one of Downtown Bridgeports landmark still stands to this day as the Bijou Theatre. Great venue to rent for any type of event thats a sit down setting.

Show was great but avoid the parking garage on 314 fairfield ave gates wouldnt open and all the cars were trapped inside for hours. Overall great show though.....

Small intimate theater. You can see and hear well from every seat and table. I have seen some great shows there. Also have heard great lectures and conferences too.

I had a nice time here. The Bijou Theatre has a very intimate and quaint setting. I would have given it a five star rating if the show had started on time.

Went to a show and I was very pleased with the way the seating arrangement was because you could see the stage from every seat. They have a bar and when you go in you have a Choice of seats with tables or theater seating. Its clean and oh parking is available across the street. There are also restaurants in the area from $-$$$.

The Bijou is beautiful theater in downtown Bridgeport, CT. The staff was very professional and friendly. We recently had a screening of a Independent full length film and the atmosphere was amazing. It has a fully stocked bar, plus food and drink can be served to your table during the event or movie. I highly recommend you rent or just attend this venue.

Loved my experience at this theatre. It was clean and comfortable. The sound and lighting was also great. Would return for other events here without hesitation.

Quaint, down to earth, home theatre with modern amenities in the heart of Bridgeport. VIP seating upstairs was private and affordable. Will return for another underrated act!

Great little theater. If you can make it happen, definitely try to get seats in the VIP Box it’s a great view with supreme comfort.

This was my first time there at the Bijou Theater and it was big and huge!It also had a open bar and tbe bathrooms were clean ans spacious.I went there because the Anthem Band was playing.I had so much fun and I enjoyed every bit of the concert! They also had a Dj who was a lot of fun! I recommend this place for my family and friends.I will definitely be going back to participate in other things and activites .

Great music really comfortable VIP seating. Was bummed when performer went from stage to the floor to perform I could not see him very well.so much for VIP should have gotten tickets on the floor

Went to a film screening tonight. Be a body or it is doppelgänger. Loved the theatre and program. I hope they have more film screenings. I look forward to attending other venues as well.It is a great little theatre and convenient to get to. Nice bar too.

Friday night (8-14/15) NYC SWING did not disappoint although their group has shrunk from 20 to 6 performers. The lead singer was flawless and fun. The musicians were tight and snappy. The staff of the Bijou Theatre are engaging, friendly and quick to provide beverages and serve and deliver local food right to your table. I was sorry the audience was so small because NYC SWING is a 100% bang for your entertainment dollar. I was thrilled to be a backup singer for a Tina Turner song and will mark that wonder off my life list today!!

The audio system is phenomenal! The performers voice were clear, yet the percussive bass of the DJs music filled the room.

This theater is a throwback to the Classic Air of the 1940s wear an open style and an open bar give rise to a great attitude and its ripping experience everything here is free perhaps you should visit Bridgeport its terrific have a nice time.
