Awesome variety of games and drinks! Plenty of contests, karaoke and cool people. They go out of their way to give us a safe and fun environment and good service!
One of the first arcades in the Bremerton ferry area. They have a wide selection of games from modern pinball to classic arcades. I think the Mortal Kombat next to the Marvel vs Capcom cabinets were my favorite. There is a small area to enjoy a classic console, and some really cool decorations. There are tournaments here to challenge the top arcade or pinball players in the area. They can get very competitive.
If you are looking for a place to enjoy some laughs, alcohol and arcades this is the place. Always have so much fun here.
We went for the pinball. The had 10 games. We played 9 of them & all we in good working order. There werent a lot of people for a Sat night, which we found out isnt normal. Not too loud. Well go back.
I love pinball. Glad to have found the place. Good atmosphere and service.
My friends brought me here for my 21st birthday last year and it instantly became my favorite spot. Lots of game choices, everyone Ive met here has been super friendly, Ive never felt more welcomed!
The games havent been changed in years. They focus more on the pinball machines. This place WAS fun but now is a dead end. Go to the Horse & Cow instead.
Such a cool bar! Had a great time! Will definitely go back next time Im in town!
Hole in the wall? yepGreat beer on tap? SureFood? Basics but there.Memories to be made? Most definitely
The staff is normally pretty friendly its clean and I generally have a good time when Im there
Not a bad spot for an arcade bar, has arcade games and alcohol so meets the criteria...but it is very small and limited on games, doesnt even have galaga which is a staple for arcades in my opinion. Pacman, Tetris, a few shooting games, and a bunch of pinball machines. Its alright but could be better if they expanded. Not bad experience just small.Edit: must have totally missed it then, bumping up a star ;)
Awesome bar staff, and hitting the pinball machines are a great way to decompress! On Mondays 3 or 4 pinball machines are free to play, and their split flip tournaments (one person on each paddle) on Thursday nights are a fun date night! 5/5
Wht a great place to stop in or hang out awhile. I meant to give 5 stars, my apologies
If you like pinball this is the place for you to grab a drink and play . It was a great date night.
It has a great selection of pinball machines! Not much of a menu, but we were mostly there for the pinball anyways.
I went here for my first time on a karaoke night and had an amazing time! The crowd was Amazing the vibe was super welcoming, the staff was very on point and courteous. And I love the decor!!
Very unpleasant experience, nothing like its ever happened to me until this evening; Request to speak to management was refused so were opting to review instead. Heres what transpired:My fiance and I had just left El Bacon down the street where we ordered tacos and 2 glass bottles of Coca -Cola. I finished my coke before we left and she finished hers as we walked the street. There wasnt hardly a sip left in it but she wanted to recycle instead of throwing it out. I told her I dont know if glass recycling was available around here. Anyhow we decide to go to Another Castle to try some games and have a beer.As we approach the counter, the bartender (a short, bearded, tattood guy wearing glasses and a beanie) immediately says you cant bring that in here, take it out and with his hand shoos us away. It took us a second to realize he was referring to her empty coke bottle. My fiance starts to explain she didnt know where to throw it out. I indicate that there is nothing in the bottle.BUT, instead of pointing us in the direction of a trashcan (he didnt even greet us or say hi before accosting us for an empty bottle), he launches into a diatribe about rules and how if we dont like it we can leave, his tone is inconceivable. We look at each other shocked. Where did that come from? We hadnt been rude or anything, I was ready to order a beer in fact. Did he not hear what she said? She was asking where she could dispose of it!?Hes still going on when I say look its no problem just calm down well throw it away. I think it was asking him to calm down that caused him to absolutely lose what little cool he didnt have... we had no a chance to do anything what happened occurred so fast. The guy stops talking and says dont tell me to calm down, get out. You guys can just leave. What? I say, are you serious? What for? We didnt do anything. The young man with an attitude then proceeds to tell us its because we have an attitude. I look at my fiance, were both in awe, absolutely dumbstruck by whats unfolding. Its like this guy was having an argument with himself that was being directing at us. Strange and unstable behavior.I asked for management, who he refused to direct me to and so I asked for his name. He says, my name is goodbye. Im certain that the people in there (maybe 4 of them) saw this and thought the same thing that we did, which was what just happened? That bartenders a jerk. The proper thing to do when he saw the bottle would have been to say, Heya guys, welcome to Another Castle, just so you know its our policy not to allow outside drinks. Followed by indicating where we could dispose of the empty bottle or logically seeing that the bottle was empty say no worries then, what can I get you?The owner(s) should be aware of the way this person conducted themselves while representing their establishment. He indicated to us and the other patrons at the time that hes unsuited for service type work. If he cant even welcome guests and keep his cool he lacks one the most basic concepts regarding customer service, hospitality. I thought his communication skills were very poor, but maybe he just didnt care and decided to take his bad day out on someone random. The way he treated us was as if he was untouchable, like he could curse at us and talk down to us with impunity and without fear or any consequence. In retrospect it very much seemed like he was looking for someone to start a problem with. He needs coaching.Well be calling later when hes not working to inform management before forming any lasting opinion of this establishment. We would like to drink here and play the games without feeling uncomfortable by this young mans behavior and we are willing to revise this review after speaking with management and re-visting at a later date.Source: over 22 years experience in customer service and over 10 managing similar businesses (i.e. bars, coffee shops).
Best bar &:>!!! Pinball authentic staff and customers.
Nachos, please try the nachos...The paninis are great, dont leave without one.And play games........
Great atmosphere and fun arcade games! Decent prices on drinks and friendly staff
Pinball machines, karaoke, cheap booze, amazing staff. What more do you need? Nothing. You need nothing more.
I enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff...I cant wait until they get more Super Nintendo games
Oh man. If you havent been here you are missing out big time. The staff are awesome, friendly, polite and quick. Reasonable prices and clean atmosphere/environment. Thank you guys for this hidden gem
Dont pretend like youre better than the pin ballers there. They will ruin you. Drinks are easy to come by, and everyome thinks everything is rad. Plus, video games. If you dont like it, then youre probably named Chad and it shows.
Always a good time. Stiff drinks, rotating pinball games (even some that seem to always to be broken, you know, for authenticity), great classic games, good atmosphere, and of course 4 player Pac-Man. Any plans to expand?
Great drinks and games. Exceptional staff!
Stopped in with some buddies on a crawl. Mostly swung in for the beers and stayed for the games. Was not busy the night we were here but enough to have a good time.
Love the games and the slushies! Bartenders are cordial and alert to the people in their bar. I always feel safe hanging out here.
Oh no, your beer is in Another Castle.... This one! Always have a ball here
Nice place not all of the games work but the food and beer are cheap.
This is a small place, with one shared bathroom but its very popular, packed every weekend, with some cool game-themed wall art. They have about 20 or so arcade and pin ball machines. They have an ATM, change machine, and all games take quarters as opposed to tokens. 70s, 80s, 90s games, multiplayer cooperative and multiplayer competitive games available. They offer local beers and hard liquor. You can start a tab. Prime real estate downtown, two blocks from the ferry, theater, dozen other bars in the area. Most drinks are about $6 which is pretty standard for the area. Very chill vibe. Maybe 5 tables, some standing, and some sitting. Have never eaten here.Been here 12+ times and never had a bad time. Good for a quick drink before catching a ferry or a destination for the evening.
OMG so much fun to be had hereI visited for my birthday and I had a really good time. They have good drink specials, League Play and tons of awesome arcade and pinball games. I will definitely be visiting again soon.
This place was really fun we didnt get to play any of the games it was the last stop on oursrlf imposed bar tour of Bremerton! The bartender was really awesome this was a Monday night. Cool black beard with a little patch of grey in it very personable dude.
I love this place the staff is really friendly and the drinks price are great. I will definitely come back. Love all the old school games make a me think of my childhood.
Great game selection, wether you are looking for some retro arcade games or classics like mortal combat or pinball. Small, but good beer selection. They make good but basic sandwiches when all the other restaurants are closed but you need a bite.
This place is sick. best arcade in the area for pinball, great drinks, friendly and knowledgable service.will definitely be back.
My first and only Barcade I go to!
This combined a bar and arcade in Bremerton. The bartender was cool and kind. And gave great service. The games were fun and worth the visit. I went on a Monday and it was busy. Not packed which was surprising. They have some good retro games that are nastalgic and cheap.
Karaoke on Wednesday, well priced drinks, arcade and pinball machines every night. This is worth a stop for a fun drink if you are in the downtown Bremerton area or have time to kill before hopping on the ferry to Seattle.
Spend quarters. Get buzzed. Have fun.
There are now several places around Bremerton to play arcade games, but this one is the best. The owners are great guys, and they keep the games rotated and fresh by sharing with the other locations. Decent beer selection at a good price, too.
Loved the retro arcade games ️
Bartender, Nicole, was awesome! They have a great drink and food menu. What a fun way to kill some time waiting for the ferry!!! We will be back for sure. Thanks, Nicole, for being so great at your job!
Always a good time. Good specialty drinks and friendly environment. Lots of pinball and vintage video games.
Very fun atmosphere! Fun games to play and hands down the best game is the four player pacman. Staff are really fun and friendly.
Great beer, great local atmosphere
Pinball and alcohol. What else do you need? The bartenders are the coolest people in Bremerton.
The princess can be wherever she likes, Ill spend my nights here with great company and free Nintendo.
Drinks are good, games are fun though a machine or two did eat some quarters. Overall nice place to hang out if youre into pinball and arcade games.
Do you want to play pinball and drink beer? Or PAC man? Or donkey Kong? Seriously, this is one of the best spots in Bremerton. go here. Now.
Great atmosphere. Awesome people. I recommend
They have a decent variety of games and drinks. I recommend the Water of Life. Fear is the mind killer.
Great pinball games, fun and not too crowded.
If you want beer and arcade games this is the place. Wish they had a few more of the 80s classics but great selection of pinball did not disapoint.
The people here are so friendly and fun. Check it out on Thursday and play some pinball.
Probably the best place to go out with adult friends in Bremerton, except for that BDSM dungeon on callow Avenue (which you definitely didnt hear about for me). They have tons of games and the games arent too expensive. It tends to get pretty crowded but the bartenders really seem on top of it.
Such a cool pinball arcade and bar! A few bucks will go a long ways with their games and they have a nice selection of beers on tap. This place is is a ton of fun!
Friendly bartenders, wonderful karaoke hosts. Great deals on drinks depending on what day of the week it is. Cant pass up $3 well drink Wednesdays
I wish I took pictures and videos here to demonstrate the atmosphere, it is truly amazing if youre a nerd/ gamer. At its simplest form it is an arcade with a full-service bar, but put all together its much more than that. There is incredibly detailed murals put on the wall that I was told get changed quite often, the murals are gamer / anime themed. Hell, even the bathroom is completely decked out with a full anime theme. If youre looking for a drink and like to just relax and hang out this is the place to go. The theme level and attention to detail is amazing here, the drink holders for all the games look like Super Mario pipes, and the chairs outside for the tables are mushrooms. As you can tell from my review I was incredibly impressed, this was the first time I witness something like this.
Always a great time
Games are mostly retro and cost about $.50/play. Ive only been once on a Friday night with my wife, and we enjoyed the two players games and watching each other play pinball. 4 player pacman is the best.
Fun great pinball and cold cheap beer!
A little bit small but still great. Wish the music was turned down a bit but lovely picturesque bathroom.
It was a lot of fun nice change of pace for a bar
Really decent barcade. Just wish it was bigger!
Best spot in town for games, fun, and drinks.
This barcade has a lot of good games that regularly rotate with new games. The vibe of the crowd is fun, and will be crowded on the weekends. Good selection of beer.
Not a huge selection of games. Gets very crowded, very quickly. Other wise it was fun.
Nice little arcade/pinball bar that I like to stop by before heading to movies :)
Great rotating beer selection, lots of pinball and other arcade games. Weekly events like karaoke and pinball tournaments, plus the awesome community that place has formed makes it pretty much the best bar in Bremerton.
What a unique little bar! Love the old fashioned pinball games as well as table games like Pac Man. No food served, just drinks, and it is over 21.
Fun arcade bar, has about 10 pinball machines and about 10 classic arcade games.
Super fun barcade. Great drinks and good times
Fun place to go with friends, nice little beer selection, great games and really cool art!
Its changed alittle bit inside watch out for the pinball tournaments you might play someones machines by accident ...
Great place, small, not a wide selection of games mostly pinball. Also 4.50 for a whiskey coke made with R&R..... That is rot gut whiskey... Honestly seeing that poured made me leave.
Very fun arcade and bar!
Cramped and not the cleanest place.
Excellent games, slushies drinks, very good geek feel and bright enough that a hip couple in our forties are comfortable, but so are the guys in their twenties.
Such a great place to come out to and hang out with friends.. Also a good place to bring a date that is just a nerdy as you.Every Tuesday and Wednesday they have Pac Man Tournaments and Karaoke.
They have video games, and pinball. Service is good and they have a cool concept
The atmosphere, the drink selection, the ARCADE MACHINES... Oh, it reminds me of my days as a kid in a Chuck E. Cheese. Only now, I CAN DRINK BOOZE while wasting away my hard earned paycheck on Galaga and Donkey Kong. 5/5, would visit again.
Great vinyl night
Steve is a badass bartender and the games bring back the kid in me. This adult only arcade bar is a great time.
Great place. Always fun!
Really cool bar theme, little pricey, and they definitely cater to a specific clientele.
Good atmosphere, good games. It is a small arcade and small bar, but still fun for an hour or so none the less.
Lost in a pin ball tourney. Awesome place!
Great place.
The games are fun, but seats were sticky and wobbly. Drinks are good! Staff is friendly.
When we walked in the bar tender told us to leave, said we were plastered, none of us had anything to drink before hand. He refused to talk to us and keep telling us to leave.
Video games and alcohol. Thats what bremerton needed and thats what we got. Wonderful, colorful, interesting place.
The bartenders are super cool and its an overall good time.
Great place to get nestalgic on arcade machines wile getting a buzz going. 21+
Love this place, old school video games, lots of pinball, great jukebox, alcoholic slushies, great little small/full bar with drafts as well and they let you being your pup in!
Love retro gaming and drinks? This is the place for you.
The slushies are awesome and has a good crowd. Feels wierd to feed quarters into the arcade games tho.
This bar is located in downtown Bremerton and it is a ton of fun. it was one of the first bar/arcades AKA Barcade in Bremerton and with its opening there are now two other bars with pinball just a short walk away(Ashleys Pub & Lovecraft Brewing.) This place has all sorts of games and at least four events a week (karaoke, Pac-Man Royal tournament, split-flip pinball tournament, regular pinball tournament.) they have some of the friendliest (and most talented.) bartenders ive ever met. If your out in Bremerton and want to do some retro gaming Id say either start or end your night at Another Castle (or both.) Your princess might not be here but your awesome night is!
Great place for fans of retro arcading!
