Put down a $100 deposit to have some work done and scheduled a date. The artist ended up canceling on me and we couldn’t find a date that work to reschedule. Fast forward through Covid and after they opened up I reached out to get scheduled and the artist could not only not remember me, after I told him I had placed a deposit and started to give him additional information he stopped responding to me for over a month, at which point I contacted the shop to ask for a refund of my deposit. Long story short but they will not be giving me my deposit back, I was bashed by the artist for expecting him to remember my tattoo, and was treated absolutely horrible. I will never ever recommend this shop to anyone, no matter how talented the artist may be.
Love this place! Great people and best tattoo artists. Go get a tattoo.
Great shop full of talented artists. Warm, inviting atmosphere for a tattoo shop. Love the new location in Manette, really feels like part of the community instead of a standout of the 303 blight like the previous location. If youre looking for the cheapest theres plenty other places full of glorified apprentices but if you want quality work this is where Id go.
Just a consultation but the studio is so beautiful
Clean professional shop, had a quick consult with Isaac and got a date set for the tattoo. They made me feel welcome from the get go.
Called. told to send a message on the website. did that, no reply. called. said the artist is booking through another website. OOF! Hope you can get it together, folks.
I emailed the shop from their form on their website, I got an email maybe an hour later answering all my questions and then called the shop to set up a consultation.I met up with Kyle the owner for a few and we talked about what exactly I was looking for. I showed him pictures I was inspired by and the style I was aiming for. He made me feel confident that Id made the right choice.I went back a month later for my appointment scared and nervous (this was my first tattoo) when I saw what Kyle had drawn up I was stoked. I couldnt believe he drew up basically what I was thinking in my head. The shop was clean, everyone was SUPER friendly, and great music playing and I love the fact that theyre trying to bring more to Bremerton.I highly recommend this place. I couldnt be happier and I cant wait to schedule my next piece!
Great place, great tattoos, couldnt be happier with my experience. Harper is a great artist!
Sarah was helpful and informative about the history of the business, the current artists, The background music was great, one could feel the creative tempo the Inkers work their magic to. There were two customers receiving ink in the work space. Three more shopping while I was there. Lots of parking outside. I looked through all the books. I enjoyed my shopping experience.
Great place. Great artists and art in general
The shop is SO beautiful and everyone working there is incredible! Every artist there is unique and highly passionate with everything they do. So pleased with my experiences here! Not only do they do amazing tattoos but they do live shows and food events but also help out the community!
Artist there called Cj white is the best in all of Kitsap. Yes, you will pay more for your jnk than other places, but it is well worth it.
Great artist. Well worth the wait, give them your dream and they will suit you with the right artist and make it a reality
Only place I’ll ever recommend to anyone asking where to get ink. Nate and Kyle are amazing and from everyone else’s work I see coming out of there all the other artist are trust worthy and just as talented. So to anyone looking for a shop and one u can keep going back to, wood work is the way to go!
The artists and atmosphere here is amazing. Harper was awesome and I cant wait to get another one.
Really clean shop, friendly staff, fair prices, and overall great experience
Woodwork is easily my favorite tattoo shop I’ve ever been in. The energy here is amazing & all of the artists have their own personal style. You truly have to be there to experience all the good vibes & creativity flowing! Can’t say enough about this place & all the people in it
I loved the vibes in this place! Everyone is super chill and nice. Denise did my first ever tattoo, and it is incredible!! I highly recommend this place
Every artist in this shop is so talented and down to earth! Harper did the start of my sleeve and I couldnt be happier with the results! She took my vision and made it come to life! I cant wait to get back on the schedule and add on!
I had a consultation with Jeff about a month ago, I came in for my first tattoo and had a some components I wanted but not a solid visual. Jeff created an amazing piece and was incredibly professional and friendly. Honestly, everyone in the shop was great and super friendly to me, which was awesome! It made the whole experience better. The shop is clean and I felt very confident that everything was hygenic.
Had a great time the food was delicious... went there after my Grandson got married...
I have been going to Nate, who has been working on an animal themed sleeve for me. You can see his passion for what he does, by how incredible and unique each individual piece is. Small details you dont even notice, until the 100th time youre gazing at the beautiful work of art he has given you. Nate is professional and makes me feel really comfortable every time I come in for a session. gentle touch with the needle, and doesnt punch wipe, because sometimes that hurts worse than the actual needle :D All the other artist are always friendly, And the shop itself is always clean and very welcoming. I already cant wait for more tattoos by Nate, definitely will not be going anywhere else from now on!
Hands-down the best job in the Pacific Northwest! This is a shop that is on the rise and I’m sure will soon have national notoriety. Their work is exceptional, the staff is fantastic, in the shop itself is a masterpiece. Whether this is your first or 20th tattoo, it is a welcoming environment that you will be sure to walk away with a unique beautiful work of art
I just received my 3rd tattoo from this shop (2 from CJ White, my 1st from Isaac Salvio), and couldnt be HAPPIER! I cant wait to go back for another. Every artist there puts out top notch work, I would honestly wear a piece from ANY of them. The shop itself is a really cool space as well, truly an art gallery without the stuffy attitude.I drive well over an hour from a town full of tattoo shops, and Im so happy every time.PS. You could spend a whole day trying to find all the googly eyes strewn about the shop.
Awesome artists
Never been there
Amazing place! Love the work they did!
Hands down best shop around, every artist there is amazing and you won’t be disappointed in any of their work!! Highly recommended
New location with more new artists?! Just when you think How could Woodwork get any better? So excited to get to know their new shop and aquire more art from their talented artists. Still the best shop in Kitsap, absolutely check them out!
This place is amazing! All artist are extremely talented and create beautiful art. My husband and I both have enjoyed every experience we have had here. For a really good time call Isaac Lol:)
You can walk in and know you will walk out with an incredible piece of art that you will love forever.
Good luck getting any communication with this place. After a 5 minute consultation I was asked for $100 and sent on my way? You would think getting something permanent tattooed on you would be taken a little more serious. After trying to reschedule with an artist that does more that tattoo flowers I was denied and told I couldnt get a refund..this place is obviously more concerned about making money than getting a long term customer.
Nate and kyle are the best. Extremely talented artists
As always I had another great experience! I love my tattoo. Great artists$!
Love this place its awesome
Woodwork has awesome artists, consistently quality work, and a beautiful shop.
Has to be the premiere place to get a tattoo, because Nick works there. I have been using Nick for years now and have followed him wherever he works. He does great work. I have had 6 large pieces done by him and my wife has used him as well. Ask for Nick O, and thank me later.
Staff has very poor internal communication, and the owner has a hostile and elitist mentality and is unwilling to consider interning artists who want to enter the tattooing scene if they themselves dont yet have tattos.Just because my parents were authoritarian religious zealots and I havent settled on a design and artist for the tattoos I want (much less, had the spare funds or time to get them) doesnt mean I am not interested or motivated to join this vibrant community in my own way. With an expansive collection of high realism art in my past and present and a multitude of friends and aquaintances who are heavily tattoed and had expressed interest in obtaining such services from me (should I get the opportunity to intern) this was something I had been considering for years, and was excited to finally seem to have an opportunity for.To be fair, as someone with autism, I struggle in certain social situations, in particular, in new environments. And I used an entire day, travelling from Northgate via public transit, to follow up on an interning opportinuty navigated via the websites official emailing chanmels over the last week because a coworker who has recived many tattoos at this location pushed me to pusue them specifically because of how much she trusted and enjoyed the shop. Due to the noise and unfamiliarity of the commute, I arrived with significant levels of burnout and had a harder time than usual articulating clealy with the initial staff but still, I was overall excited and optimistic given the communication up until that point. The initial desk staff having no knowledge of the interning opportunity i had been asked to follow up on wasnt too off-putting, but when the owner, who Reeked of weed, was brought out and he too knew Nothing of the communications, that enthusiasm was rapidly displaced by unease. Then, when it was apparant from scratch that he wasnt so much as weakly considering it after determining that I was still a blank slate, with difficult to curb upset. I just felt completely excluded, dismissed, and as though I were being talked down to by the staff rather than having anything pertinent about the process explained. The baltant lack of professionalism caused me to waste an entire day to public transport and left me exiting in tears from his attitude regarding the entire thing on top of my burnout. While the quality of the art from each individual artist speaks for itself, and I in no way want to tear down the clear artistic skills of the people here, I cannot in in good faith reccomend this location to anyone seeking an opportunity to intern who believes that the tattooing scene should be a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Totally 5 stars for these guys. Great place, totally recommend them
