Simply said this is an awesome venue for live shows, musicals, plays, etc. Its an intimate setting of only 199 seats. They have a beverage bar of soft drinks, beer, wine, snacks and coffee (my favorite). Plenty of free underground parking and of course theres an elevator that accommodates those who are handicapped. The only thing that I recommend is to take a seat pad. Im guessing these are the original seats and they are uncomfortably hard. Prices are reasonable but if you check the website you can find 2 for 1 deals occasionally. Highly recommended for a great experience at the theater.

Love the small venue, made experience more personal. Seating is great dont have to worry about tall people in front of you. Acoustics were very good. Loved The Alley Cats. Wonderful way to kick off the holidays.

I like this theater. Its very small and cozy. Even if you are sitting in the last row they are still good seats.

Its a good theater small good place for local shows and functions. The sound was good theres really no bed seat in the house.

The theater is always clean. The sound was a little too loud at times, but we came prepared and brought our ear plugs. They didnt have the foyer laid out as well this time. There was only one ticket person at the entrance, instead of one or two at each of the doors into the theater. And the tables inside made it a little crowded in there. There were just too many. The snack bar is always well stocked and the servers are pleasant. I wonder if the in-ear monitors were working as well as usual, as the singers were a little off pitch and that is unusual for them.

What a charming theater! And we really enjoyed the show.

Great little theater located in the heart of Brea. It’s nestled in the civic center next to the Brea Mall. There is not a bad seat in the house. Very clean and well maintained. A few of the local schools perform their school plays at the Curtis Theater with great success.

Great community theater. I saw Sweeney Todd and it was very well done.

We saw the Wonder Bread Years. The actor was from National Public Radio and was very funny and personable. My wife laughed out loud throughout most of the show. Venue was very nice.
