Being a starting spot for some great hikes and an easy way into the Blue Hills is the only thing saving this spot from two stars. I love the Blue Hills, but this spot really has nothing else going for it. You cant go in the tower, theres a lot of broken glass (so much that the nearby summer camp doesnt come here anymore), and theres nothing else really there. The observation deck across the street is much cooler.

After a long home, ou cant actually go up the tower.. But you get a view of the Boston skyline across the road

Not sure if the tower is open normally but it was locked up tight when we got there. Tons of graffiti and some trash in the area and the picnic table was so rickety we were worried it was going to break. Fortunately this was just a stop on our hike and not our destination or I wouldve been a lot more disappointed!

Great views of Boston and surrounding Blue Hills. Also a great place to hike and view nature. Only reason it doesnt get 5 stars is that it is a well known gay cruising spot and their messes are often left in the woods. It is less than unusual to encounter naked men not far from trails.

Beautiful hiking trails!! Im visiting from New Hampshire and loved the views and scenery. I will definitely be back here. ️ Just be careful if its raining or rained recently, make sure to wear shoes with good grip and go slow on the rocks as they are slippery. Also watch out for unsavory trash on the trails. I saw a used rubber lol! Otherwise very awesome place...

A must if in the area. On a clear day this is where you want to be. The view in the Fall is my favorite but any season it is always a good stop.

Great view of downtown boston from a distance, even from the road nearby. Nice climb to get there if youre riding your bike.

Been coming here for years. Its a great nearby escape from the city that happens to have great city views.
