Great place. Great staff

Small but very informative museum about the people who make up the Cortez community. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and eager to share their stories. There is a nice walking path and bridge connecting the culture center and maritime museum which are only a short distance apart. If you stop at one the other is a must.

I enjoyed seeing the history of Cortez in pictures, newspaper articles and books! A fascinating little museum, located behind the larger museum, documenting a historic fishing village in old Florida. Its definitely worth a visit.
