Customer service was wonderful. The COVID protocols in place were great in my opinion. There were a total of 7 people in the theater which included myself and my wife, even though theyre allowing 40% capacity. There were sanitizing stations throughout. Masks are required unless youre eating/drinking, obviously. You have to pre order all food and drinks and reserve your seats when buying the ticket online. We felt very safe and well taken care of by the staff. Kudos, AMC.

We had a good time and the movie was hilarious. However, I ha d a real problem with being forced to wear a mask in the lobby when out group were the only ones there and the staff were already wearing a mask! We do NOT have a mandate I. The state or County! You have NO legal right to force someone to comply with this idiotic request!

I visited this theater for the first time during the Covid-19 pandemic. I was impressed with the measures AMC put into place to ensure the facility was clean. I ordered food from the concession via the app and my order was ready on time. I love going to the movies and Im glad the theaters are open again.

Very nice, comfortable theater. Great cola selection with the multipoint Coca-cola dispensers. Pricey snacks from the snack bar, but that is everywhere at theaters. Very big theater and nicely landscaped. Enjoyable experience and highly recommend when in the Bradenton, FL area.

Comparable matinee pricing, great icee drinks and wonderful popcorn. Loved concept of seating in lobby for drinks afterwards to discuss movie. Wide corridors for traffic flow. Very clean and comfortable seating inside cinema. Picture and sound quality was great.

Went to the movies for the first time since this started. We had the theater to ourselves and all had a great time

So I used to come here when it was car mile and they used to have an arcade and everything, but change can be good and normally I don’t have a problem. But it may sound petty but I just came to see Akira with my boyfriend and I asked the lady if I could leave the movie to come get popcorn and she said yes because like I asked about the butter and everything. my movie started at 7 and it’s 815 I went to go get popcorn and they are cleaning out the popcorn machine and the girl who told me that info was just like “yea... there’s no popcorn “. I’m like wow and walked away. I asked her about popcorn an hour before. It’s just upsetting like I left the movie come get popcorn why wouldn’t you tel me there was a certain time you don’t have it anymore. Just frustrated. I could have asked I guess but now I will never get popcorn here

I love the fact that this theater is very close to my house. I can just walk there, take the bus and BOOM! I’m there, ready to see a movie! Even though the ticket prices are much expensive than Regal Entertainment, which are very cheap, since I have about $400 worth of movie tickets at the time I’m typing this, that’s not a problem for me. I’m so there. Let’s hope they reopen soon.

Cleaner, newer and great comfortable seating than AMC Theatre in Sarasota Square mall. We will be returning to this AMC theater!

Nice theater! They’ve redone it renovated it. I appreciate all the new changes like comfortable seating. It’s so easy to buy tickets online and you don’t have to print them at home. You can print them there at the theater. The food is still kinda expensive. Nonetheless, the entrance looks nice and they have a casual seating area for you to sit, wait, and chill.

Great overall experience. Food price was fair. Theater was clean. Staff was friendly. I didnt realize they had a bar there till we were leaving. Im excited to go back and take advantage of that! Great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Saw Little Women with a couple of friends last week. Chairs are comfortable. Sound is great but I need to use the contraptions they have for providing closed captions for the hearing impaired. The contraptions are super hard to use. Youre supposed to be able to stick them in the cup holders beside your seat and adjust this thing on a 3-foot metal arm that looks like a rear-view window in your car. The words for the captions are fed across this thing if you are lucky. Mine worked for about 80% of the movie. Because the background music of movies are too loud, it blocks my understanding of the words being spoken. This contraption is helpful but not foolproof. This is a nice theater. We were in the theater by ourselves.

Its an average movie theater, pretty clean, good snacking. The only thing that I dont like here, and Im not sure if all theaters do this, is when I try to purchase tickets online ahead of time, they always want to charge me a convenience fee of around $16! I never pay it, I go the day before and personally buy them.

Avoid! I almost died here this place closes whenever they feel like it and leaves people inside in a dark building and dim parking lot where it encourages criminal activity. Not a single employee and no security at night. Known area for crime at night it’s sketchy thugs Rome around waiting for you to approach your car to mug you. I was robbed at gun point pistol whipped and grazed by a bullet I’m lucky to be alive. They should take precautions for paying customers to be safe during business hours!

They definitely need more employees at the concession. The lines are always long. Im still not sure how I feel about assigned seating. Its great to not have to rush and save seats but you cant invite anyone last minute to join you because of no available seating near you.

Counter service was polite and quick. Theater was clean. A/C could have been kicked down a notch it was slightly warm with all the bodies in the room. Been going here for over 20 years now. Very nice theater.

Large theater with plenty of movie choices and friendly staff. Theater is updated but seats do not recline. Concession stand offers a large variety of food beyond popcorn and candy. Lobby is big and also offers a bar and arcade area. Customers can join the free program to obtain $5 tickets on Tuesdays. Have been here several times and have never had any issues.

Just a solid movie theater. Usually very clean, staff very courteous, and they make pretty decent popcorn. Always enjoy the sound and video quality. Its nice to see they still upkeep it after the renovations.

Good parking, nice lobby, good snack bar. Clean and well maintained. If you want to go crazy you can put your own butter on your popcorn. Twenty theaters too, lots of choices.

Ive not been to the movies in quite a while. This place is definitely where Id go. Clean bathrooms, new layout with a bar, and better image.

Ive visited the AMC Bradenton 20 along State Road 70 near US 301 in East-Central Bradenton on several occasions. Overall, its probably my favorite movie theater in the Sarasota-Bradenton area. Yes, the Regal Theater in downtown Sarasota is more modern, but this particular AMC has a very cool 1990-feeling vibe to it that satisfies nostalgia. It may look a bit retro, but the facility is very well kept and has comfortable seating (not quite recliners, but nice).This particular location has a huge atrium with an arcade and bar, too. I can see it being a great place for a party or to hang out for a bit before a movie show time. I love their popcorn - the self serve butter stations are great, too.Ill no doubt be returning to this AMC theater many times in the future. Ive had good experiences here. A final note - I appreciate that they have a good volume level with the movies. Some theaters crank it up and blast your eardrums. This particular theater seems to have a good handle on loud enough.

AMC has lots of parking and lots of theatres (20) with the latest productions. Always a good value for seniors $8. Clean and they serve more than just popcorn. You can get a full fast meal.

I live right next to the theatre, but this location is always the best for seeing premieres! They have a ton of room, are very clean and not always crowded! Sometimes the staff can be a little “blah” in terms of the service you receive but it’s worth dealing with the inattentive high schoolers working there for the ambiance and location. Definitely recommend going here if you want to see any premieres as they accommodate a lot of space and staff for new movies compared to other locations around here that sell out quite often.

Nice theater, comfortable seats. Nothing fancy. And usually only one side open. Prices are a bit high. And perks arent really great. Instead of just having 1 day cheaper tickets and only at certain times. Id be nice to be able to see a Noon movie at $5. Instead of at rush hour or just Tuesday when its so crammed with people. Spread it out. And get more business. Or wait for DVD.

Decent movie theater not my first choice but my preferred theater was full. I wish they would upgrade like some of the other theaters to the recliners since the price is about the same as theaters with this comfortable seating. Not enough concession people were working for a Friday night in my opinion. The line was long which made it so we were late getting into our movie even though we were about 20 minutes early for the show. Overall decent place to go to see a movie.

We needed a wheelchair and the attendant was extremely helpful in obtaining one. She then drove the chair and escorted us to the correct theater. The theater was perfect and the movie we saw was excellent with great acoustics (Blinded by the Light).

Very poorly organized theater. Buying your tickets in advance does you zero good if you want concessions too bc everyone stands in the same long line anyway. Plan on coming extra early to see a movie.

I liked it better when it was a Carmike theater. The soda dispensers are pretty nasty at times and there have been several times they are out of certain flavors. Too many times have I been in one of the theaters and it looks like it wasnt cleaned all day. Such a disappointment but there staff is very friendly

My family has visited twice and have enjoyed each visit. Its close by our home and the staff is always friendly.

Second time we are turned away because they implement rules as they go. First time we took my 3 year old grad daughter and was told she couldn’t go in past 8pm. Second it was 6pm and this is after we purchased tickets and food. We demanded a refund and got it but it doesn’t change the fact that they have no policy posted on the age requirement and hours a 3 year old can go watch a movie. Let us parent our children it’s not you’re responsibility to do that. Never going there again! Oakmont 8 is way better.

Friendly staff, comfortable, clean theaters. Would love to have the recliner seats like other AMC theaters but these seats are comfortable. Ive been here three times now and have enjoyed movies without any distraction. Popcorn with self serve butter is good. Drinks are self serve and tasty. Simply a nice theater to watch a movie.

Its a great location for us and always plenty of parking. Nice and clean with a large foyer before you get to the 20 theaters which have been remodeled recently.

Great theater with great prices. They regularly have a wide variety of movies. Something for the whole family. Reasonably priced pre-movie drinks and snacks. Clean environment and most of the employees seem to really enjoy working there. Always helpful and kind.

Havent been to the movies in awhile but have always like this theater. New seats (to me anyway) but was suprised we have to pick our seats now. Popcorn and drinks are expensive of course. Staff was friendly and quick.

This is a great place, you can get free refills on your soda pop. You can purchase beer, and wine and drink it while watching the movie. The place is really clean and the bathroom has well. The people that work there are very friendly and go out of their way for you if there is an issue. Every Tuesday all movies are $5 all day, which is a huge Plus for me, on a tight budget that is. If youre hard of hearing oh, dont worry their stereo system in there is amazing. You can hear everything. I highly recommend this place, if you havent been there, check it out. youll love it.

Worse experience at a movie theater. Someone thought it was a good idea to combine lines for concessions and purchasing tickets? Horrible wait times. (I gave up on buying popcorn) Then, the 2:30 showing of Star Wars started at 3:02. Ridiculous.

I kinda like the old stadium theater seating better. To me, its more comfortable.

This is my go to theater now. The seats arent full recliners but its still reserved seating. I absolutely love the popcorn buttering stations!

Normally I have no issues with this theatre, but we went to see a movie and theatre #8 was extremely musty, warm and smelled like mold and mildew... by the time the movie ended we had headaches and stuffy noses and watering eyes. It needs a serious overhaul in cleaning and maybe removing the curtains on the walls and inspecting any leaks in the ceiling.... it literally made us sick. What was a wonderful movie, the experience was dampened by the condition of the air in the theatre and mold smell.I do hope something is done about this.

Tuesday $5 ticket is awesome. They still gouge you on the popcorn and soda! If you are able to get by on a small popcorn and soda, then its $5. But who can only eat a small popcorn?! Thats only about 10 hand fulls.

Movie was supposed to start at 8:15 but didnt start until 8:40. Normally not a problem but we had a scheduled meeting with Friends after movie.

This Movie Theatre is the best in Bradenton. The reclining seats are so comfy . You don’t have heads in your way.The big screens are awesome too

I heard this theater was great, what a disappointment. Very average. VERY. I wont be back without free admission. Theres potential, but, you cant just have good projector and sound quality, everything else fell very flat. Big YAWN.

Went to see a movie... They sold me tickets to a show that almost over instead of the one that started in 10 minutes...While I was trying to fix tickets the kids headed to the game area... Someone had spilled a drink and my son slipped and fell... The staff accused my son of spilling the drink even though we didnt have drinks. Took them 10 minutes to put a sign up and even longer to clean up the drink... Will never go to this theater again... Not to mention they are a lot more expensive than Regal in Sarasota... Staff was 90% teenagers and were very inattentive.

Nice theater, only thing I didnt like no box office. Self-serve you would think if you have to self serve the tickets would be less. I rather go to a Regal theater.

My 17 year old daughter bought 2 tickets for an R rated super hero movie through AMCs website. NOWHERE DID IT MENTION that this theater has a different policy from the published policy of AMC in regards to movie ratings. They do not allow 17 year olds without an adult over 21. Nor did her digital ticket mention the change.It was not discovered until AFTER she waited in line and was turned away at the ticket taker. She went to get a refund and was told now that the movie had begun and that they would not issue a refund. The assistant manager, Kenyan was not willing to do anything to resolve the situation. They just want to steal money from people.Unbelievable that the theater would not make it right.By the way, my family has been to this theater hundreds of times, never again

Nice theatre, very convenient, has all the newest movies. The staff is very friendly there. The ticket price everyday around 4-5 pm is only $6.30!

Completely full theater this evening and it seems like the AC couldnt handle it. It was not terrible, just not quite right...they gave everyone in the theater a free pass, even though it wasnt that bad. WELL DONE!!

Great theater, somewhat of a hidden gem, this theater has kept up with equipment and seating upgrades pretty well over the last 18-20 years. My wife worked here before we were married, and used to get free tickets, so its kind of a memorable place for us as well. Not very crowded as there are several other theaters inn the area, but I like this one best.

Visiting in the area, the theater was very nice and comfortable.

Bit of a wait at the bar until we received help and theater room 1 could use a sound check could hear people munching from many rows below or above with only a few of us in there. Other then that the experience is always great. Many choices for fountain sodas and the popcorn is delicious, always first choice to go see a movie.

Everyone is friendly and theaters are mostly clean. It is nice that they have finally added reserved seats but they need to make the next move to recliners. When it gets busy they often seem to be understaffed. There are 2 sides for concessions but only one side is ever used.

Could use updated comfy seats like the other theaters

Decent. They actually had to evacuate everyone during the movie for a fire alarm of some sort. They did offer you a return visit at first then when it only took about 15 mins the option was they were going to rewind back about 15 mins of the movie. I did wait it out but by that time I really wasnt into the movie anymore. I spent alot on food and drinks for both of us and really didnt end up enjoying the night after the delay. I felt there should have been an entire redo on everything I spent that night which was nearly $60.00. Maybe theyll make it up to me in the future.

The only reason I marked it down to 3 starts is because when I was buying my tickets online for a Tuesday showing, it was promising me the Tuesday discount. It wasnt made clear at that time that I needed to be an A-lister to get the discount. Wish it had been more clear and upfront about that. The theater and employees are great otherwise.

The renovations are done and the building is nice. We had a group of loud teens join us be loud and obnoxious but left and the fellow behind my wife felt it was necessary to kick the chair back she was in throughout the movie. Aside for everyone talking and lighting up their cell phones it was good. Dont think Ill go back.

Just went to the movie theater in the US for the last time. I purchased my ticket and the person at the counter said I had to select a seat before I went inside. I rather look around, then pick where I want and not have to choose without seeing who will be next to me. Sorry, but this is AMC and not a stage production or music event. Before long they will charge extra for prime seating. Looks like its Netflix and a comfortable couch.

Its really not that good. The customers are pretty rude sometimes they dont stop talking when a movie is playing and they do not show the feature saying Dont text, Dont post, and Dont talk. Every time i go to this theatre for any random movie its always in that terrible auditorium 15 and there is this one employee that does a terrible job at ripping tickets and his name is Don. I am never coming to this theatre until they fix on some more remodels.
