Lifetime member so fun to check out new displays. Also like to walk the trail at park.

Such a cool museum! There is information on the county homes from every county in Ohio! It was neat to see info on our home county even though were an hour and a half from home! The guy at the gift shop/office was super knowledgeable and friendly! The lunatic house was definitely creepy lol it was awesome! Definitely glad we went!

They do something fun things here for the community. I love how they change up the exhibits and showcase so many different artiat as well. The prices are great and the kids love going through and seeing everything. Great place for everyone.

They just keep putting up really great and interesting exhibits! Make this a must stop!

This is a spot my son and I like to frequent, they always have such cool exhibits. The blonde woman that was there today was incredibly rude.. We got there about noon, we were the only people there and she acted like we were bothering her or something. This won’t stop us from going again but she seriously needs to work on her customer service skills.

I truly enjoyed it, I like history and it had interesting things to see. The woman that works there was very knowledgeable.

Good place to go when you want something to do but dont want to spend 20$ plus history is fun

Beautiful historic buildings and the staff is very knowledgeable. The WWI exhibit is a wonderful tribute. Its a must see.

Thought the admission was a little high for what it was. Have heard a lot of historical items are stored upstairs and that more used to be on display.

I havent been here for a while the improvements are wonderful. The gift shop was bright and cozy.

Because of the name, we were expecting a general history museum, but its somewhat misleading. It would be better called the Wood County Infirmary Museum. It has a lot of recorded history about former infirmaries and county homes around the state. If youre interested in that type of topic, its worth the trip.

A great place to visit with the family for their various activities and festivals throughout the year. Be sure to check out the exhibits in the actual mussel if you do visit.Also a short wooded walking trail.

Know your history. Local museums teach us about time and place in a vital and personal way. The Wood County Historical Center is doing this and so much more. Stop by for a great exhibit!

Great local museum. Well cared for and well run. Interesting view into over 150 years of history.

This is a very neat little museum that lets you in on a little bit of history that the Ohio History class never taught us in school. The staff was very friendly

Very nice place

I fall absolutely in love with this place Everytime I drove past it. The Rich history it contains, the structure of the present grounds, the extremely old cemetery it harbors, if I could live here I would. I remember decorating this museum for Christmas when I attended Penta, the staff said to stay within their limits because this place is haunted (that sealed the deal for me) I love anything paranormal. And yes, I saw the fingers. For those of you who isnt familiar with the fingers go have a look. You will see why. It is truly a sad experience for the poor soul who lost her fingers, but hey ... When Do you ever get to see fingers in a jar?

Got there just as they were closing so didnt get the whole tour. But friendly staff member talked with us awhile. Very well preserved and impressive facility. Current exhibit is on these types of facilities throughout Ohio.

Well preserved, small gift shop and you can tour the outside of the museum as well. They also provide various events throughout the year, recently, a Halloween family funfest with live music, kids games and horse drawn carriage rides.

A great place for the counties history!

Nice historical museum with lots to see inside the building and on the grounds. A lot of local history to see and learn. Nice to see and old oil rig set up a lot to learn about the past oil history of the local area. Been here a few other times and would normally always give it 5 stars but this visit the entire museum was converted to a WW1 theme which we didnt enjoy quite as much. Looking forward to seeing the originally set up come back. Plenty of parking and is very reasonable admission into the museum

Went for their annual Halloween event! Adult trick or treating! Love supporting the local community and history!

I was at the Historical Center and Museum for Folklore and Funfest thats held every year around Halloween and it was really done up with halloween decorations. It was a bit chilly as the weather decided to act up but everything was moved indoors. The volunteers and employees do an amazing job to keep this place clean and put together.

The former Wood County (OH) home. Nice display - currently WWI - that changes yearly. Special events held throughout the year. A morning or afternoon well spent.

My grandkids had an amazing time.

Great place to learn about local history. The 2nd floor of the main museum is now handicap accessible via an elevator. Lots to see on the museum grounds too, many historical outbuildings and a nature trail.

The display changes regularly and its very interesting to see the history and the different displays.

Love to learn about history.

We were there for the WWI exhibit. A lot of information, educational, inexpensive and a historical Ohio landmark. The grounds are well kept & docents are very welcoming.

This is an awesome place to visit in Wood County it changes several times a year they have a large stockpile of antiques they like to circulate so if youve been there once it wasnt enough you need to go again. They have great artifacts. As well their fall festival is amazing.also a great place to take family pictures
