Not much here. Nicely restored tower and depot. Museum may be closed due to covid-19.
This is a great little community and volunteer run rail museum which is spread out between 2 buildings (station and tower) and a single beautifully restored caboose. You can come and see it all with the help of a guide in 30 min or less so a nice quick diversion even if you are just passing through.
Looking forward to take my participants together with me next trip. Free parking lot, nice community
Rare preserved interlocking complete with its original machine
Good place to spend for about 5 minutes. Really almost nothing to see here, though watching the trains go by is pretty amusing. Good service, even though its just a control tower and one caboose.
Authentic signal tower with vintage railroading email, Chessie caboose, baggage room display with working model railroad. Plus vintage working typewriters on display.Plan up to an hour to take it in.
Interesting local history. Theres a caboose that visitors can enter when the museum is open. It is next to the Amtrak tracks, so we saw a couple passenger trains including the high speed Acela. There are three structures from the original 19th century train station.
Small museum that shows what the train station looked like.
Must see
