Devon is the best bartender ever! This is a fun little place and the kitchen stays open until 11. Score! And they have a few pool tables, jukebox and a pretty good sized dance area.

The bar tender (i think his name was adam or alex) was SO RUDE. He was condescending and didnt want to be bothered to help my friends and I. it wasnt very busy, but he seemed to be annoyed with everyone ordering. Which is his job so youd think hed be a little bit nicer about it.

I sent my friends to this place with my warmest recommendations. I go their often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The meals are great and the crew is attentive and cooperative. Whenever we go to this place we have a gorgeous time. highly recommended.

I know the fifth is considered one be of the less popular attractions,but my experiences with them was great.Just need to open the kitchen up more

A local staple. There’s not exactly a bar scene in bountiful, this is it. Lots of regulars, good prices, good service, good drinks. Don’t expect a trendy bar and don’t expect a young crowd. It’s bountiful, it is what it is and it does a good job at doing that.

We going to this bar for the best karaoke in the valley it has the best sound system mastered by the best DJ Jamaziam that host They just hired Mike Thomas a chef who has studied under some of best known Chef s in the world. Food was amazing!!!!

New renovation adds a nice touch.. Bathrooms needed TLC the most though!! I miss the comfy leather chairs and karaoke stage tho. All in all, not bad. Still a good atmosphere with good people

20 plus years ago that I went to the Filth. It is much cleaner, and the green beans were good. Good service. Odd layout, but you need to check it out. BOUNTIFUL IS A HARD PLACE for any bar/ pub!!!

The only reason I’m giving the place 5 stars is because of the staff Monday night staff!. Came in from out of country! Was treated like a regular. The place has pool tables and Tuesday night poker . Wednesday night karaoke. I will convince the staff to sing tomorrow lol.

Honestly preferred it before the tv show overhaul thing they did.Now they are branding as the Fifth station instead of the Fifth amendment, and its corny as hell. The fifth amendment was a great name for a great dive bar. putting a fake trolley car in there and complicating the food menu didnt add anything. Hope they got some new kitchen equipment or something out of the tv show appearance to make the sacrifice worth while.Good staff, good environment.

Local bar redomodeled on the interior & fresh paint outside, odd layout, not terribly welcoming...Id call the TV Show Bar Makeover a fail. Food was not good at all...bar help was fabulous! Mule was great!

Bar rescue - huh ? It should be the filthy - this place is a dump - I would be more descriptive but its allready been said in all the previous reviews that werent posted by the daily patrons - everything said is truthful - dont waste yr time its a dump

Hands down one of my favorite places to go when I just want a quick fun night out with the locals. Ive been going to this bar since I was in my early twenties so for nearly 30 years I have found lots of fun and lots of good times had here. They will often have karaoke going, drinks are affordable and the people who run it are amazing. Definitely my go-to establishment when I Need A Little Night Out

Recently went after hearing it was on bar rescue. Things havent changed here. There were holes in the walls and open electrical outlets. Bar rescue got it wrong here. Ive never seen a trolley in Bountiful and I have more beer on tap in my garage. I didnt order food out of the fear that if the front of the house was already that neglected what was going on in the kitchen??

Will always love this place. Very laid back. Some times its hard to get a drink. But amazing people come in. Its a very fun place

I knew Jex and sorry to here he passed and see the place destroyed by his son. My father and Jex were good friends. Sad to see all that beautiful wood that was once there taken away. Jex would be disappointed to see what his son did to the place. His boy should have the girls run it....period! His son will run it to the ground. God Bless Jex!

The place has really changed and very restaurant looking but the service was great I am one that was going to Fifth many years ago and I have only been in there once a few years back needed to see what they had done and it is different

I was informed that bar rescue was there to make changes. My wife and I were excited to maybe and finally have a eighborhood bar in this area. I heard they had food, new decor, better atmosphere. Sadly NO! new paint. Same old 5th. Nothing to do there but sit in a chair and drink, never presented a menu, never really seemed to care if we were there or not. Bathrooms still a disaster. Service still subpar. Maybe they will rescue this again sometime.

So this bar was featured on the tv show Bar Resue so I thought i would go check it out. Unfortunately the magic of tv makes it look a lot better than what it actually looks like. The service was sub par to say the least I had to get the bartenders attention 3 times to get service and finally had to go up to the bar to get my bill. The food looked good on the tv show and actually the smothered chicken was tasty but the salad was awful way to much salt and pepper making it uneatable, the chips and salsa was half burnt chips and Im guessing Pace salsa or some other jarred store bought salsa, i would think you would at least make your own fresh salsa, not good at all, I get they are trying but not very hard sorry.

Tried to get chicken and they were out so we got burgers and got the order wrong, only ones in the bar waited 1/2hr for food and it sucked, seen better service! Should of let the daughters take care of it! Sorry John T.

The quality of a bar is largely determined by the type of people it attracts. Karaoke night was interesting, and it wasnt the trendiest crowd. The location is a bit odd, but drinks were good and at a good price with quick service.

I left a negative review a few months ago about staff friendliness. . Im not sure if that had anything to do with previous reviews. But, just about since. I have noticed an incredible difference in staff attitude and work. The fifth has restored my faith. Take it how you like. But for me to take the time to up, a review and stars. Should speak. Most leave a review just on a bad experience. I wanted to change it simply from a strong change in the same staff.

Dive bar, but not the fun kind. Crappy service and the seating was less than comfortable. Drinks were reasonably priced, but it took forever to get served by the one bartender they had working and she was more interested in taking care of what looked like regulars. Go the extra distance and find a better bar in Salt Lake.

This place is a good time! It’s a bit crowded sometimes tho but absolutely love it! It’s a yearly Halloween tradition for me and my crew so that says somethin!

Bountifuls own dive bar in kind of a weird location next to the NB I-15 on-ramp at 500 West (thus the name). Reminds me of all the evolution of Utahs liquor laws through the years. When weve gone there on weeknights, theres typically only one server on duty, but the drinks still come out pretty quickly. Not too noisy -- you can hear your friends talk. A place where Bountifuls respectable establishment types would never be seen -- and thus a favorite.

Feel bad for the daughters. They bring Taffer in and look what happened. In this case money is thicker than blood.

Food, adult beverages, plenty of seating. Close to freeway and adequate parking.

Good food and drinks. Service was great. This place has a lot of potential. Only problem is that I was offered crack by some of the patrons. Twice. And one of the less youthful patrons saw fit to hit on my barely 21 year old friend and proceeded to say the most raunchy stuff about the bartender... So, long story short, this place is good... besides the perverts and crack heads.

New owners made this a lot better than it used to be. Considering there are very few clubs in Bountiful this one is fun.

My husband and I have only been to the Fifth twice. The second time we went we invited a very nice well-do-do couple. They are sweet and not at all gregarious.The DJs mother (a bit eccentric, but sometimes that can be interesting), had too much to drink and caused a scene on the dance floor. My friends husband, who was in close proximity, is a meek, quiet, friendly professional. The woman said something to him rudely, and before he knew it he was accosted and dragged out of the bar where he was bullied and then punched squarely in the face!! The staff didnt even bother to ask what she was saying or whether or not he had anything to do with it! The queen bee was at fault.We will take our business elsewhere and never go there again. We spend a lot of money when we go out. They wont see a dime from us again.The Fifth is a 2-bit, sleazy dive-hole with a staff of unprofessional brutes!I hope my friend presses charges!Any upstanding person who cares about a reputation would not go in there... its a dirt-bag place!

Food luke warm and tasted microwaved. Yuck. Bartender was fast and very nice(only reason for the 2 stars). Food was disgusting (mushroom and Swiss burger with tots) and, there was a guy that was blatantly drunk, belligerent, couldnt stand up, etc... 3 people gathered around to make sure he could eat his food and not fall off the bar stool--- clearly irresponsibly over served. Also, it was sad to hear a patron say bad things about the owner and then the staff, fully agree with them and add to their 2 cents on top of it with their grievances.... If youre unhappy working there leave, rather than being disrespectful and unprofessional. Most likely wont go back unless Ive got to play DD to remove someone from this bar.

Nice astblishment, been going there for years. Farley new remotel, friendly atmosphere. Pretty good service, I recemend going too the fifth the food is unexpected, try the green beans. You wont be disappointed.

If your stuck in Btown and your looking for a flash back to the 80’s this place is the place to go. Island ice tea had too much cola, had a steep cover charge for a dive bar. Would probably drink alone in the shower before going here again.
